Relaxing and calming

The setting was incredible. Walking down the steps and straight into the sea was really special. Great for sunrise and sunset swims. I loved listening to the waves while in bed. It felt very homely with friendly staff and pets. Individual fans at each bed made it extra comfortable. No bunk beds so everybody has their own individual single bed.

The smell in the room was like cat wee unfortunately

It was great!

I ordered vegan lunch twice, which i got quite soon, Both the hotel staff and the guests were friendly, helped me several times. The private beach made me possible to swim any time of the day, in absolute safety

The general state of the building should be upgraded, renovated.

You have to stay more than just 1 night!

We wanted to travel through quickly to get to Capurgana, but ended up staying for 5 days. The view on the sea is amazing, we swam every day without even having to leave the hostel and the whole hostel has amazing vibes. We could work on our laptops at tables with fantastic views, there is a great kitchen, the owner Angela is amazing and there are many cats and dogs. The beds are comfortable and we just felt at home!

cute hostel right next to the sea. lot’s of four legged flat mates which are really fun to play with. feels like a home and really welcoming staff.

one of my favourite ever stays

sleeping right by the sea was magical, hearing the waves crash in. The facilities are somewhat basic but charming. Loads of common space to relax. 15 mins walk or a 4000COP tuk tuk to the ferry. I wish we had more time to stay here longer!

The location is amazing, directly over the water, its incredibly relaxing with that amazing view. The wifi was very good and I could work with no problems. The girls are also very friendly and helpful

No water in the showers/toilets/bathroom, you have to add water by your own.

One of my best experiences in Colombia! The vibes and the crew are just awesome! A unique place with a unique vibe where you feel at home. Thanks again for a unique atmosphere. If I’m ever again in Necocli I’ll go back without any hesitation!

Nice location and view, the hostel is right on the water.

it doesn’t really feel like a hostel but more like an inn where they kind of make you feel like you should be grateful they offer you a bed. I didn’t really feel welcome from the set up of the “check-in”, like the bed was not ready he did it in front of me, it was hard to get a hold of the owners/workers as they are busy with their friends. The shower is on demand because they need to open the water tap and you feel sorry for asking for it. There are also a bunch of dogs and cats, I do like pets but it can be impressive to have so many in a house especially when they just come in and out of your room and the cats sleep on the beds…

Very artistic place. You can swim in the sea right from the steps. Friendly people.

They require improvements in organization and accurate record keeping. Water for shower sometimes unavailable.

Better places to stay for cheaper in Necocli

Beautiful view from the hostal Feels like it could have used to have been a nice vibe but management has changed in recent years maybe??

Live music went on late into the night despite hostal being aware of multiple guests early departure the next morning to capurganá — most of the people partying were staff also which was weird Couldn’t actually take a shower at all because there was no water the entirety of our stay “No wifi” but everywhere else in Necocli has wifi? And water? Overpriced

Fabulous

Such a lovely staff (thanks so much for bringing my forgotten shorts to the bus station!) and cozy interior. Spacious dorm.

Little out of the center, but walkable - only with bigger backpack you might need to take a taxi to the bus/boat.
