About this apartment rental
Escape to Steamboat and enjoy the Ski in/Ski out slopes out your door in the winter or mountain biking, ride the mountain coaster, mini golf and adventures galore in the summer. Our 1 bedroom condo is completely updated throughout which is decorated to match the beauty of Steamboat and is perfect for a trip with your significant other or a small family. The kitchen has granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances, a 2 seat bar top, kitchen table w/ seating for 4 and we make sure to the kitchen with plenty of ziploc bags, saran wrap, tin foil, cooking spices, etc. to make it feel like home. The living room has a pull out sofa sleeper, fire place, flat screen TV, DVD player, (with cable), WIFI and sliding door that leads directly to your private balcony with amazing views of the ski slopes and Yampa Valley. The Bedroom has a Queen bed, flat screen TV and a door directly accessing the bathroom (which can also be accessed from the hallway). There is also a ski locker right out side of your door to store all of your gear so you don't have to drag it all inside.
The parking garage is underneath the building (7' clearance, over sized vehicle parking available upon request outside the building) so you don't have to go out in the weather to run to your car or unload your gear. There are stairs and an elevator to access the unit which is on the 3rd floor. If you don't have a vehicle or don't rent one it is definitely not needed in Steamboat, there is a public bus stop right in-front of the building that runs year round and has a pick up/drop off every 10 min (During the ski season) and can get you anywhere you need to go in minutes. The bus stops at City Market grocery store, liquor stores, restaurants, has multiple stops down town so you can shop, hit happy hour or grab dinner and catch a ride back when your done. See the Steamboat Transit Schedule for details, the bus line that goes downtown is the blue and red line.
When you show up our home is ready to just unpack your bags and start having fun. The Gondola, Christy Lift, Preview lift are right in front of the building to access the ski slopes or mountain biking terrain. At the end of your day enjoy sitting by the fire place and relaxing or just taking in the views. The hot tubs and heated pool are also a great way to relax after your adventures. There are multiple restaurants right out your door if you don't want to cook and BBQ grills in the pool area if you feel like grilling.
There are plenty of restaurants to choose from within walking distance - Slopeside Grill, Los Locos, Paramount, Café Diva, Timber & Torch, Truffle Pig, Gondola Pub & Grill, Gnarly Charly's Pizzeria, and Gondola Joe's
Booking payment: 50% of the nightly rental fee is due at the time of booking and the balance is due 4 weeks from your arrival date.

The condo was nice and clean. Good location - although lots of construction around the area right now. The bedroom and bathroom are very small. The bed was too soft - need to remove the foam. The staff is very nice and they have great information, also helped get the tv's to work. Nice restaurants in the area.

We wanted a location where we could park the car and forget it and this was a perfect location for that. To get to skiing, it was a quick ride down the elevator and a 50 meter walk to the snow where we could put our skis on and then slide down to the lifts. If you need to purchase tickets or guest passes, you will need to do that in the base area which was a short walk from the snow. There are several restaurant options within walking distance. Slope Side was decent, but crowded and noisy. We didn't try Los Locos, but looked to be a good option. They Thai restaurant a short walk away was affordable and very good. There were 3 outside hot tubs with changing rooms for a nice soak after a day on the mountain. Suggest that you buy beer from a store outside the village before coming because the only market in the village is at the Sheraton which will cost you $9 a can.

We're Steamboat regulars but had never stayed at this property, and we REALLY enjoyed the ski in-ski out location right next to some fun restaurants (and of course the best fine dining in town is in the same building). Management was terrific - we arrived late in the evening, and Cathi went out of her way to make sure we got in and settled successfully. The underground parking is convenient, and the elevators were working perfectly, which made moving stuff and people with skis very easy.
The kitchen has the essentials plus spices and tea/coffee, and while it's compact, it's not so small that we were stepping on each other.
I visited with my spouse and teen son, who didn't love the sofa bed, but the couch is huge and comfortable. The bedroom is a bit tight without many places to unpack clothes, but for the weekend, we mostly lived out of our bags. The living area has some drawers, plus board games. Bathroom: not big but nicely updated and very functional.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would go back!

We absolutely loved Aaron’s condo. The location was perfect! The condo had everything needed for a weekend getaway. Comfy bed, stocked kitchen and cozy fireplace. There was a hair dryer in the unit (I wasn’t sure from the listing) so wanted to mention. Literally steps from the ski lifts/gondola and the condo had a complimentary shuttle to go anywhere in town. Easy to get shuttle service to/from airport too. No need for a car! I only wish there was an indoor hot tub in the complex bc it was too far for me to brave the elements to use :) but other than that cute restaurants/bars/shopping all within walking distance. Would recommend!

Our first time in Steamboat and we loved it.The condo is very close to slopes and super close to the new gondola. check-in was extremely easy and parking in garage is priceless. property is very nice with everything you need for a perfect stay. would definitely book this property again with no hesitations. We were there 3 nights and found the location to be very convenient for accessing the scenic chairlift, restaurants, and shops. The unit is nicely appointed and was very clean. The patio needed a bit of attention from the cleaning crew, but Aaron welcomed the feedback and was going to address it right away. We also appreciated his flexibility in letting us check in a bit early. The underground parking is convenient and secure.

The property was great! Just as advertised! Steps from putting on our skis and taking them off at the end of the day. Everything could not have been more convenient. I would absolutely stay here again. I only had a couple of questions that I had asked leading up to this vacation and Aaron was very responsive and helpful. No complaints about anything. This unit has a great location for ski in/out. It's well maintained, updated and stocked well. There is a view from the large patio to the slopes and courtyard, partially obstructed by other buildings, but still nice.
Communication with owners was prompt and clear.
Only suggestion for owners to to find somewhere to put a small dresser. The bedroom is pretty small and there is no dresser, so you have to live out of your luggage.

Great getaway location! The property worked well for our family of 4 (2 adults & 2 kids- kids slept on pullout) on a Christmas break ski vacay. Condo itself was clean & comfortable & great to return to after a full day on the mountain. My kids loved the pool & hot tub. Great restaurant/bar options just outside the building. Slopeside had a great pizza! Location could not be better for skiing- access to both gondolas is right there- ski school pickup/drop off was right there too! The building felt quiet even in such a great location. Has a front desk/lobby area with coffee and hot cocoa & cookies for the kids. The shuttle into town could not be any easier. The ski locker was directly next to the condo for easy access. Our trip was magical (and anybody that takes their kids skiing knows the trials & tribulations that go along with it) & so we could not recommend this place more! But, in all honesty, we spent a ton of time outside of the condo…so it may have felt tight w/ all 4 of us, if we stayed in a lot. But who comes to Steamboat to sit inside?

This is a very clean and well appointed condo. The artwork on the wall is beautiful. We loved our stay here. Since the lights in the outside hallway stay on all night, however, the bedroom stays light all night long which makes sleeping difficult. The owners were very responsive and easy to communicate with. A highlight was seeing a mother moose and her two babies right outside the condo.
