We would not recommend this motel to anyone.

The bed was comfortable and the motel was close to the beach. Location was very good. The shower was good.

The motel was very basic with hardly any equipment in the kitchen. No teabags. Very poor lighting In the middle of the night we had an unwanted visitor - a fat mouse who clambered up onto the bench and started eating our food. The motel was not value for money.

Never stay again very disappointed

Towels on bed still had peg on the towel 🤔 No soap No coffee Half a roll of toilet paper Only 1 channel on tv to watch no reception for other channels No staff to be seen at all No make up room or fresh towels stayed 2 nights

for the location and the amenities the price was reasonable. I will stay again to support an obviously struggling busine

the property is a small walk from the beach, cafes and public transport. it’s on a quiet street. yes it backs onto the local cemetery but you cannot see it from your room. The ensuite has been recently upgraded and rooms have had minor improvements. rooms had the amenities you would expect including the ability to cook.

the staff do not stay on site. it’s evident that after Covid and previous poor reviews they are trying to save money due to lack of occupancy. They were still contactable and fulfilled all requests.

Odd that no one was there to greet or see during the stay. Ghost motel

Convenient location

We booked this for one night for my son and 4 year old and at no time did we or they see anyone on site and when we arrived it was unclear that the key was actually in the door. On rechecking I found a message I had missed.

Noisy road, fridge needed defrosting, no pots only 1 fry pan, big sag in mattress, room not sound proofed with neighbours, smoke from neighbour wafting into room,

Close to beach and suited our needs, beach and cafes down the road. Very quiet area and hearing the bird song while laying in bed of a morning was lovely. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Beds were not the comfiest,I usually bring my own pillow but forgot and found the rooms pillows were very hard. Wasnt enough cutlery so brought plastic cutlery and cooking utensils of my own to use.

This was a last minute booking. I don’t recommend it.

it was relatively close to the beach. about 1k I think

the fittings were broken - no lights in the bed lamps; screen door latch broken; microwave was dirty; the power went out for a few minutes so I was in the dark unexpectedly. the proprietor needs to spend sone money to get this up to par.

The rooms are clean enough - it is just someone hasn't really gone through and checked things: ie 1 wine glass 1 fork. Strangely the road is quiet until 6am to 7.30am - so the front units are a little noisy in the morning.

They need to go to the shops and buy a few things for this room. For example- there is only one coffee cup and one teaspoon in the room. And they are old. The bathroom smelt like sewerage.

For the price we expected better unfortunately. I hate leaving negative reviews but I expected at least some basic complimentary essentials like shampoo & conditioner + a hairdryer that would actually dry my hair. I can’t comment on the area as we didn’t get a chance to have a look around.
