Everything we needed. Comfortable and cost effective.

This is a basic cost-effective motel. It is comfortable, quiet and unpretentious. We arrived late and left early. It had everything we needed. If you are after basic accommodation in Tweed Heads I would recommend it highly.

We were impressed with how it suited our needs. Was great.

Room set out was great for a family of six.

We had an upstairs room, and the access is via stairs, and then along open balcony beside the rail. Probably due to the size of the seats along this area it felt a little narrow and like weaving between chairs and balcony rail, which would be harder for some, and dependent on bag sizes. We weren’t phased, and the room suited us perfectly. So aren’t deterred. We could use the fridge microwave and kettle and get everyone breakfast in the morning and a snack at night before bed. Loved being in the same room as each other, and watching cartoons in the am - a treat for our kids - while we made a coffee before heading out for the day.

Easy to find, spacious room and everything we needed.

It’s starting to look a bit old and tired, (not unlike ourselves😅)but everything was clean and functional.

Don’t book a spa room as it is not worthwhile as you have to disturb the owners to operate it.

Room facilities - air fryer, microwave, kettle etc. Great location. Male owner was friendly and helpful.

We paid a lot of money for a King Spa room. We could not get the spa to work and gave up and had a bath instead. When we approached the female owner to advise that the spa wasn’t working, she curtly told us “it does work, you need to ring us when you are ready for a spa and we [male owner] will come down behind your room and release the airlock. So the spa DOES WORK!” On the second night we ran the spa and as it was late, cold and miserable outside we didn’t ring the office to have the spa “working”. We had a bath instead. We were told on arrival that rooms are not serviced daily. We need to bring up towels etc to the office to have them replenished. It was not mentioned in the room information.

Overnight stay if needed

The fridge was cold. It had foxtel.

The walls were so thin, and the person coughed all night next door. Smoke alarm in room not working it was hanging open. Aircon didn't work properly.

A good motel with an inattentive and irritating booking service.

Fit for purpose. Competitive price for clean comfortable but aging facilities.

Both host and client were let down by booking dot com. We had been here before several times and booked what we thought was a similar room as before which had a bathroom. Once the transaction was complete the booking app immediately came up with “Upgrade to a room with a bathroom for only $12”. Being old we need a bathroom so I panicked and paid the extra and was charged the premium. I queried the issue by inquiry mail to booking dot com but months later I have not had a reply. When we arrived at the motel recently I told the manager that the distinction needed to be clarified and he said. “all our rooms have bathrooms - it’s just what booking dot com does”. I said it was a scam and I had paid $12 too much. He did not offer any refund but said “you upgraded to a bigger room”. He added that he would report my complaint to the booking company again but he did not expect a response. Not good. Be warned - every room has a bathroom - don’t be scammed by a computer glitch that should be fixed with customers compensated. Sorry diss a perfectly nice middle level motel. This is a warning not a bad review!

easy to find, good location and friendly staff

it was a convenient stop for our visit to Kingscliff

the bed was very hard and my back suffered as a result. It could do with more blankets as it was cold and the aircon unit too noisy to use for long.

Room and bathroom were very spacious and clean, plenty of parking, amenities in the room were great, staff were very friendly, A/C unit keeps good temp. Quite central in the area.

Bed was very firm, made my back hurt. A/C unit was also quite loud.
