This was our sixth time renting a condo at Marbella in Isla Verde and it was our best experience; our host was the best we ever have had. Maureen was extremely responsive to our needs and flexible to our requests. Being in the Penthouse, the balcony is much larger than in the lower floor condos, allowing the whole family to comfortably enjoy the amazing view of the beach and ocean. We will certainly be back!

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. We had plenty of room for our family of four. The apartment was stocked with everything we needed. The location is great and the building amenities were fantastic. We loved the beach and having the pool was really nice as well. Located near some great restaurants and it was really convenient to have a Walgreens right across the street. Having the parking was a definite bonus! We would absolutely stay here again.

Property was excatly as described. My family spent 10 days at this property over thanksgiving and did not have a single complaint. Amazing views, beautiful beach, and convenient parking in garage. Everything you need is within walking distance. The host was great and very accommodating.

It’s a beautiful building in a perfect location. You don’t need a car for your whole stay. Easy to walk or Uber from there. Also car rentals across the street Very safe and secure building and grounds with front door security.
The apartment was clean and the owner Maureen was more than amazing. We had everything we needed to enjoy our week.

Maureen, the owner, is so easy and very friendly to work with. The Marbella Del Caribe Este condo is direct beachfront located on the penthouse (PH) floor. The condo is fully stocked with everything you need, i.e. toilet papers, paper towels, spices for cooking, Ninja blender, 2 beach chairs, 1 beach umbrella, portable cooler, body boards, pool noodles, beach toys, etc. The balcony is huge to enjoy majestic views of the beach and turquoise water! You will need the key fobs to enjoy the huge pool downstairs and get outside the gate to get to the amazing ocean :) We also rented beach loungers ($4/chair/day) and umbrella ($10/day) from the vendor on the beach.
We are so glad we rented a car for the week so we can fully explore PR ( Isla Verda, El Yunque (advanced reservation required), Loiza (lots of also restaurants), Luquillo Kioske (lots of locals huge out here), Camuy River Cave (advanced reservation required), Ceuva dell Golondrinas (off the beaten path swallow cave), Old San Juan and Torri Verda zip lining in Ortovis (longest & most amazing zip lines) 😊 You will need the garage opener to get in / out with the car and the driving in PR is not bad once you get a hang of it :) We really enjoyed these restaurants: La Espana, Freddy Los Pinos, The New Reef, El Jibrarito, La Carreta, Hijole, Aricefe 681, Marbella Beach Club, Don Q La Cueva del Mar. There is still so much yet to see in PR therefore will return in the near future.

The property was nothing short of wonderful. Beautiful, comfortable, spacious and clean! The view is unbeatable! HUGE balcony overlooking the pool AND most importantly, the entire beach and skyline! Parking spot right near the elevator! Kitchen fully stocked with almost anything you need to prepare meals. 3 bathrooms, lots of toilet paper, clean towels, beach towels, perfect sized cooler, awesome pool lounge floats & beach chairs! CVS, Walgreens, several restaurants and souvenir shops VERY close walking distance. 24/7 Supermarket couple minutes drive down the road. Pool and beach are VERY clean, were never over crowded. Front desk staff were always very friendly and welcoming.
I can’t say enough about Maureen. She was responsive, so sweet, so considerate. She checked on us numerous times via text, wished my bf a happy birthday…she just went above and beyond for us!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the apartment was clean, airy, cozy, and despite the building sitting on a well traveled road, we could hear no traffic - only the gentle rolling of the waves on the beach. The building, pool, and beach access was safe and secure, and very easy to navigate. Highly recommend!

While the area in Puerto Rico is lovely, the unit itself was old, not well maintained and no money whatsoever had been put into the unit. I get that it is a rental, but only the cheapest materials, furniture, etc. were in the unit and we wound up adding batteries, etc. to be able to stay. I will not stay there again.

Everything about this place is as advertised and more. A very comfortable, well stocked penthouse apartment with two floors. The beach is steps away and the view from the large balcony is spectacular! Maureen was very responsive and helpful to our questions before we arrived and checking to make sure everything was okay during and after our stay. Isla Verde is a beautiful, clean beach with lots of places to eat within walking distance. San Juan is a 15 minute car ride. We took Uber's everywhere which was very easy and convenient.

We are frequent visitors to PR and the condos in Marbella east and west. This was our first time in this condo and could not have asked for anything better. It is well stocked with anything you need for a beach stay. We never use the AC when we are in PR because the breeze that flows through is amazing. We can’t wait to go back soon! Thanks for sharing your beautiful rental with us.

I’ve used this location many times over the past 25 years. The location is twin hi rise buildings. They’ve always been well kept. This is my 1st time using this particular penthouse. Host is very responsive and agreeable. The unit is acceptably comfortable. Let me just say that many of the units have been upgraded and modernized, Depending on personal taste you may want a more upgraded unit. I was ok with this particular unit but I have also rented units with a more modern decor. You can’t beat this location and it was a pleasure to work with this host.

We had an awesome trip, the apt was in excellent conditions, the locations is incredible but most importantly the property manager was incredible, she accommodate everything for our needs. We are already planning our next trip.

Very Welcoming
The penthouse was very well-equipped and inviting. There was plenty of water activity equipment, linens, kitchenware and really everything you’d need. The view is breathtaking! There is no need for a television when you have that kind of view!

Beach Vacation with Great Memories
We traveled with our three kids aged 5-12. This was our first-time visiting Puerto Rico. We had an amazing vacation at Maureen’s beach front PH Condo. She was a great host! The location of the property was perfect for us- right in Isla Verde, close to San Juan, and the airport. Amazing beach view from anywhere in the condo! We enjoyed the beach and pool every day and the proximity to great restaurants is an added benefit (make sure you try Alambique)!
The property was supplied with everything we needed during our vacation, kitchen items, washer and dryer, beach and pool amenities, beach chairs, coolers, snorkeling gear and boogie boards. The wifi was good as well.
We rented a car for the week and having a private space in the garage by the elevator was very convenient having 3 kids.
We can’t say enough about Maureen. From the time we initially booked she provided insight on the location and nearby restaurants and stores. Maureen was very responsive and helpful and answered questions promptly. Our flight home got cancelled the morning of checkout and we had to rebook for later in the day. Maureen was so accommodating to allow us to extend our checkout time so we could enjoy the rest of the day. We will be back!

Great Condo, Location & View
We really enjoyed our stay at Maureen's. Very spacious 2 floor unit 2 bedrooms (with separate A/C unit controls), 2 1/2 baths, kitchen was well appointed. One of the best parts was the large top floor ocean front balcony, beautiful view of Isla Verde! Building has multiple fast elevators so very little wait. Many beach chairs and a cooler are provided so you can just walk right down and set up on the beach (either under the palm trees or with a $10 umbrella rental if you want shade). The pool was clean and not crowded. The location of this unit is very convenient, walgreens across the street is like a grocery store and many restaurants are nearby. We did pizza and chinese on the beach which were next door and Alambique beach bar is just down the beach for good food and drinks anytime. MiCasita was good for dinner, which is a very short walk, and next to Coldstone. The parking spot was secure, underground and conveniently right next to elevator (tip- upon arrival you will need to get the gate opener from the unit first to park, looks like a key FOB, big button outside gate, little button inside gate) We will definitely be repeat guests when we head back to PR.

Maureen is an amazing host! Apartment is as described, 2 floors with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs and 1/2 bathroom downstairs. Full kitchen with washer/dryer.

Marbella is an excellent Condo on the longest and best stretch of beach in Isla Verde. This particular place had the most incredible views, most awesome breeze and was so easily accessible to all of our favorite beach restaurants. I would totally recommend PH2 to anyone looking for an amazing get away to Puerto Rico! The Condo featured brand new bedding in the master and 2nd bedroom, everything was clean and well maintained, although, dated appliances, everything was in great working condition and the manager, Franklin was hands on and ready to assist wherever necessary!

Wonderful stay
We just got back from a wonderful stay at Maureen's apartment in San Juan. We booked travel plans to Puerto Rico before the hurricane and had difficulty negotiating a refund from the airline, so we decided to go ahead with our visit. Isla Verde, the beach where this condo is, is beautiful, with families and tourists alike visiting. Old San Juan is also up and running. The condo is exactly as advertised, clean, and comfortable. Maureen is very responsive and helpful, and always answered questions very promptly. When bad weather hit the NYC area as we were returning, Maureen kindly reached out to us and offered to let us return to the apartment should our flights get canceled.

Amazing place to stay
Me and my 3 boys which are all adults stayed at Maureen's place the last week in July. If you are reading reviews and can't decide weather you are choosing the right place, well you are. I consider my self picky with things. In general. Everything about this place has met my expectations. This penthouse has everything you will need for cooking to beach supplies even has a washer and dryer in the unit with laundry soap, she has thought of everything to make your stay easy and enjoyable. There was 4 of us and Maureen had enough beach chairs for all of us. If you have small children she even has beach toys. This penthouse was very spacious, with 2 1/2 baths makes getting ready for dinner quick and easy. The place was very clean and had amazing views from the bedrooms and a huge balcony. Maureen was very accommodating, my flights had a early arrival and a late departure time which she was able to get me early check in and later check out. I honestly cannot think of anything negative about Maureen or her penthouse. Even the location is perfect right in the middle of everything. I have traveled to many places and stayed in all types of rooms, this is definitely at the top of my favorites. I tried to keep this short but I could go on with how nice Maureen is and her penthouse. You will not regret choosing this place for your vacation, all the staff were very friendly. Thank you Maureen for making my stay at your place a great experience. I will recommend it to anyone who asks me where to stay in Puerto Rico.

Perfect Stay!
We just got back from an amazing weekend in Puerto Rico! Our penthouse condo was the highlight of our trip! The view from the condo is breath taking. We had the sliders and windows open all weekend so we could enjoy the amazing ocean breeze. The condo gave us plenty of room to spread out but also enjoy each other.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook meals. We cooked every breakfast and most lunches home before heading out for the night. It was very relaxing sitting on the patio with our breakfast, coffee, and ocean view.
Our days were spent on the beach. We were provided with beach chairs, umbrellas, and coolers. There were a few restaurants in walking distance, right on the sand, that we visited for lunch. We did not even need to leave the beach! On Sundays, there were venders on the beach that sold food and drinks.
Charlie’s Car Rental was conveniently right across the street. While renting a car, we were able to see El Yunque and Old San Juan. At night, we took Uber to Old San Juan to enjoy the night life and the sunset at the fort.
There are also a lot of restaurants and clubs in walking distance to the condo. Maureen was very helpful, offering a lot of suggestions for places to eat and adventures on the island. We had a very memorable vacation and would absolutely suggest this condo to anyone who wants a fun but relaxing vacation. It was perfect for us!

Stunning views, great relaxation, Best Winter Vacation
Penthouse apartment is spacious and cozy at the same time. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you can possibly need to cook a gourmet meal, if cooking is your thing! The ocean breezes are phenomenal! The Condo is in Marbella Este, a very secure, safe and clean building on the beach in Isla Verde. Many delicious restaurants are walking distance. The ocean water is so warm and inviting. Beach chairs, umbrella, towels are all provided. Definitely the nicest beach in all of San Juan. We cannot wait to go again next year with our young grandson!

The Best
This was the perfect location for the perfect vacation. We took our 2 kids with us for Spring Break, and we all had a wonderful time. The condo is very comfortable and is a quick elevator ride to the beach. We used the provided beach chairs and other beach supplies almost every day. If we did not have time for the beach, the pool was very nice, as well.
The condo was fully stocked with kitchen tools and was close to 2 grocery stores. So, we made breakfast every day. It was a luxury to eat on the balcony with the cool breezes every morning. If we did not go out for dinner, also ate on the balcony. We did not use the dining room table once. There is also a pizza shop very close and several restaurants nearby. It is in the center of everything.
The wifi and cable TV were more than adequate to pacify our tired kids. The furnishings were very comfortable, and everything was very clean.
We rented a car and took several day trips: El Yunque, Old San Juan, and Camuy Caves. In and out of the condo was very easy, and the staff/security were very helpful.
Maureen, the owner, was very responsive and takes great care of her condo. You can tell that she wants her renters to feel like guests. She was highly accommodating to our travel plans. I would highly recommend this vacation location. I hope to return soon!

Great condo, great location
I would echo the previous highly positive reviews. We have rented several places in San Juan and this one is far and away the best. Maureen takes exceptional care of it--plus she is responsive and easy to work with. The furnishings are of high quality. Wi-Fi and cable are strong. Kitchen is well equipped. The view from the balcony is stunning. We usually rent a car for our stays but there was no need in this case. Many restaurants are close by (try Zest in the San Juan Beach Club hotel right behind the condo). A supermarket is only a ten minute walk and a Walgreens is across the street. Taxis were easy to get for the times we wanted to visit further away. The Puerto Rico Museum of Art on de Diego Avenue is worth a trip--it's open late on Wednesdays and is free that day.
