Location and size of apartment

Plus: Great location, great size. Against: Had to request acknowledgment of pre payment bank transfer, no receipt. Bad communication. Smell in apartment when opened. Decor, tiles, worktops, furniture ALL very old, well worn and tired in need of refurbishment and replacement. Two toilet rolls and a dirty used scouring pad were supplied. Cutlery basic if you’re camping! Towels old and well worn. Mid term clean never took place. Towels given to cleaner and never returned! Had to ring for replacement. We both have insect bites from bedding even after applying bug spray. Bites have cleared since we moved. Considering these apartments are charging full price for their accommodation it would only cost a few euros to supply a few condiments for the kitchen. Even a bottle of water after a long journey. Nothing! Sorry guys, not good enough. Not interested in your guests, - just their money. Sad but true. We are well travelled. Genuine review.

Really good location. The old town was really close to walk. A Bus station was right in front of the building, to get to the beaches. It was really easy.

Location.

Gated entrance is a bit of a nuisance. Be better with a number pad on wall. Pool area is tiny and surrounded by trees so easy feeding for bugs. No washing machine is a pain. Two lights weren't working and we were duly left with replacement bulbs! The building is lovely but this room is a bit dingy because of it's situation. Crockery needs updating also. Have stayed in many accommodation in Alvor over the years and the location is the main reason for staying here.

A fabulous stay in wonderful apartments in a great location

The apartment is in a great location. 5 mins walk to the town. 5 mins to the beach. There are also bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes

The beds are slightly uncomfortable and kitchen equipment for anyone intending to eat in is a bit basic

very enjoyable stay in the apt.the location is terrific. will be going back again.

carla is fantastic, she met us and came to say goodbye. we rang her for 2 extra pillows which she provided. our flight was not till 8pm and we had no where to leave our luggage as we had to be out of the apt at 11am. carla looked after us. liked the pool and the garden for relaxing.

only one pillow per bed which were very flat and not good for the head and neck when sleeping .we got another 2 from carla. the microwave had a noise from it and we were afraid to use it again in case it went on fire. we notified carla about this.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment overlooking the pool area. 1st impressions walking in through the front door was the space. It had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were lovely and comfortable and nice plump pillows. The sitting room had a couch bed, Satilite TV with Netflix to log into, free WiFi which was decent, The kitchen was lovely and had all we needed, there was no washing machine but that didn't bother us it had a microwave, good sized fridge/freezer, coffee machine, cafetiere, iron, ironing board, clothes airer, pegs, 4 sets of towels, hair dryer, 1st Aid kit, aircon in the sitting room and bedroom. Some might say the bathroom was dated, but it was clean and the water pressure was fantastic. The pool area was lovely to relax by with sun loungers a covered seating area if you wanted to sit in the shade and public toilets for residents. You wouldn't be doing lengths in the pool but it was lovely to take a dip in to cool down. The beach was approx 500 metres away and centre of town about 10/15 minutes. Overall this place is perfect and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to family and Friends. Definitely going back and staying longer next time.

The settee in sitting room was a pull out bed and not comfortable to sit on or relax. Everything else was good. The beds were very comfortable.

Great spot with a lovely balcony close to the beach and town.

great location, easy to park, close to the beach and the main town. handy supermarket close by. great balconies and living area.

beds were a bit uncomfortable and it would have been nice to have a few condiments like salt and pepper and salad dressing or oil and vinegar.

Everything you need ,lovely and clean,a good kitchen,plenty of towels and bedding ,you can see the sea, shops restaurants all around a short walk and there’s a shop that does days out , and if there was a problem we only had to make a phone call

Thinking about it there could be a couple more pillows left, there could be some sun loungers by the pool

We had a great stay at Apartamentos Quinta da Praia and will definitely be back.

The location was perfect, walking distance to town, supermarket and beach but just far enough away from the main area which meant it was quiet at night-time. The apartment was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The gardens and common areas were very well maintained. We had the one bedroom apartment which was very spacious. We cooked in a few nights and the kitchen is well equipped with all cooking equipment. The information booklet was comprehensive and literally covered everything from how to use the oven to where the bins were located. Carla was very nice and easy to deal with, we phoned when we arrived and she met us 15 minutes later. During our stay I sent a Carla a query text and I got an immediate reply.

There is very little to dislike. The pool was very basic but we knew this from the pictures and description before going so there were no surprises, we prefer the beach so this was not a problem. Generally, the apartment is only cleaned if you stay longer than a week so as a suggestion, it would be preferable to have one or two cleaning products made available - again I knew this before going so it was not a problem for us.

The apartment was very convenient from everything, Carla was very helpful, it is clean has everything you need, our apartment was just one bedroom and hadn’t a washing machine in but round the corner there’s a a choice of two , you can see the sea from the balcony the supermarket is a short walk a large choice of places to eat

I think my only comment is pillows but we all like our own
