The B&B was perfect for exploring Ortigia and it made me feel as a local living on the island.

The service was great, the staff was very attentive and the spaces were very cozy. It matched the atmosphere of the city and the location was excellent. Tea, biscuits and yogurt were available 24/7.

A wonderful hotel right in the centre of the Ortygia section of Siracusa

What a brilliant little hotel. It would be hard to get closer to the centre of Siracusa than this fashionable place. The members of the staff were wonderful and extremely helpful in every way. The breakfast served was also excellent.

Parking in the Ortygia section of Siracusa is a real problem and there is no parking close to the hotel. We were fortunate enough to find one (which we would NEVER have found had it not been for a local) for 20 E / night and only about a 10 minute walk from the hotel: Autorimessa di G. La Mesa, Via Dei Mergulensi, 14, 96100 Siracusa. (It is small, and you may be shocked to see cars parked at 45 degree angles to the ground, but the staff are very accommodating.)

Excellent week's stay. Ortigia is lovely!

Location could not be better. The staff were lovely and very helpful (booking taxis for example). I was kindly allowed to have a later check-out and keep my room for a few extra hours, without charge.

Perfect location for tourism. Staff was friendly.

Room was ok but no wardrobe, no hangers for clothes. Breakfast area was small and placed in a kind of corridor. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

Lovely b&b in the heart of Ortiga!

We had a lovely stay! It’s the perfect location for wanders around Ortiga. Concita was so helpful and gave us great recommendations! We went to a restaurant she recommended twice! Rooms are great, we really felt we had an authentic Syrancusan stay!

This B & B was located in the heart of Ortiga, the Old Town of Siracusa. It is very close to the sites of the town and a good location to walk the town. The room was spacious.

Since it was a B & B, the staff was not available most of the time, so when we had questions we didn't have answers.

Good. Minimum of comfort for the price.

The location is perfect (in the middle of Ortigia). Some of the staff don’t speak a word of English that is, to me, insane. The comfort of the room is basic but it’s fine. The room was clean.

We were welcomed by, I guess, the cleaning lady. The lady was kind but didn’t speak a word of English and we were using Google traduction to understand each other. Back to old times… She took care of our checkin. And we didn’t have recommendations of places to see etc (it was hard enough to understand each other to start a real conversation…).

Good location

Check-in and Check-out was difficult. I had asked a day ahead whether it would be possible to drop our luggage a few hours before actual check-in, indicating our arrival time, which was confirmed. When we got there nobody was there or could be reached. Similar for check-out (during official check-out time) we had to wait 1,5 hours for somebody to show and handle our bill. Our room also got very stiff at night and aircon didn't work properly.

Taking the public transport to the beaches from Oritigia is complicated, especially if you don't know the language. Rent a car +++
