I do not recommend

location, food in the cozy pub and breakfast was very good.

I've never posted an evaluation like this, but I was very disappointed. there were two beds in our room. The double bed had an old worn out mattress. It felt like a lumpy hammock slung low in the middle. The twin bed has stains on the mattress covering that looked awful. Carpet was stained as well.

Great location

The room was very nice. Comfortable bed, overlooked the beer garden. Location was wonderful. In town, walk to Trim Castle.

The shower is in need of a new shower head.

Location was great and the staff were very helpful.

Room was hot and ours didn't have a window you could open and the carpet was stained and looked dirty.

Meh, it was grand maybe for 1 night.

Location was good

The bathroom sink was too close to the toilet. You had to sit on the toilet at an angle due to your knee hitting off the sink it was that close. and let's just say it didn't make it easy to use the toilet. There was no soap in the dispenser either. We asked for a room as far away from the noise as possible, and we were at a room directly at the smoking area.

Very good

The location a was great! But we were warned that on Saturdays and Sundays there might be music late into the night. That would have been fine with us, BUT we were there on a weeknight and there was loud, raucous talking and arguing a long time after midnight, not music, but very disturbing, until early in the morning in the courtyard.

Food served at Brogans was exceptional. Really high quality. Breakfast, dinners, fantastic. Thank you!

The room, specifically the bathroom really needs attention. The toilet didn’t flush toilet paper away and had to keeping being flushed after the cistern had re-filled to eventually get the toilet paper to go. Black mould in the shower, creating a slight smell of damp. The toilet seat was snapped at the hinges and very unstable when you sat on it. The room had a fair amount of dust built up on the lamps and radiator.

Short stay with friends

The food and entertainment very good and the location is great. Staff are very friendly .

We have stayed in Brogans several times but feel it is in need of some updating. We had problems with lights not working, doors not closing and one of the rooms we booked was not cleaned properly. A shame because it's a great place to stay.

Excellent place in Trim

Excellent Irish breakfast and all the other dishes I had were delectable. Very friendly service as well. Really interesting decor of the bar, posters... Good size of the room considering it was a single room. Excellent location near St. Mary's Abbey and the castle.
