Günstig, sauber, top Hotel!

Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit! Beim Check-In wurde uns direkt ein Taxi für den nächsten Tag zum Flughafen organisiert. Ebenso wurde uns unser Frühstück in Form eines Lunchpaketes zur Verfügung gestellt! Das Zimmer war sauber, schlicht, gemütlich und bot alles, was wir für eine Nacht benötigten. Alles in allem eine sehr gute Erfahrung!

Es fanden offenbar bis spät Abends Bauarbeiten im Gebäude statt, was aber nur am Rande störend war.

Buon soggiorno nel centro di Ponta Delgada! Good stay in city centre of Ponta Delgada!

L'hotel e' in pieno centro, in una delle strade piu' vivaci di Ponta Delgada! La stanza era ampia e dotata di tutto, tv, cialde caffe e macchinetta, svariati cuscini, aria condizionata, bagno in camera con saponi, svariati asciugamani, letto king size molto comodo e tende oscuranti. Nel complesso questo posto ha un ottimo rapporto qualita' prezzo! Avevamo anche la colazione inclusa. The hotel is in the full city centre of Ponta Delgada, in one of the most vibrant streets! The room was very spacious and fully equipped, with tv, coffee machine, many pillows, airco, bahroom ensuite with soaps, several towels, king size bed very comfy and dark curtains. Overall for quality-price is a great place! We also had the breakfast included in the price!

L'aria condizionata e' nel muro, un impianto ampio e forse un po datato e quindi quando la si tiene accesa perde umidita', e la camera rimane umida e puzza un pochino, i vestiti anche rimanevano umidi. Noi cercavamo poi di aprire le finestre di tanto in tanto per far arieggiare. La colazione e' ampia e abbastanza varia pero' la qualita' e' un po' bassina e c'erano delle cose che ci davano un po di sporco, moscerini che volavano ecc, ci ha un po' delusi anche se e' sempre buono averla inclusa nel prezzo e in generale c'era un'ottima varieta' di prodotti. Airco is in the ventilation system so when it's on it loses some humidity that makes the room humid and stingy, even the clothes were getting very humid, we were opening the windows every now and then to change the air in the room. Breakfast is varied and big, but quality of products is low, and there were certain things that looked a bit dirty and also some flies and mosquitoes, we were a bit disappointed but it's sill good to have it included in the price and overall there was a good variety of products.

Guter Aufenthalt in Ponta Delgada

Sehr schönes und sauberes, superzentrales Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Es stimmt, dass es in einer kleinen Straße voller Restaurants und Bars liegt, aus unserer Sicht war bei geschlossenen Fenstern davon nicht viel zu hören. Weil wir früh abreisen mussten, gab es Frühstückstüten für alle von uns, die ok waren.

Superbe et accueil 5 étoiles

Très confortable et bien situé, personnel extrêmement accueillant. Lors de notre départ les taxis étaient très occupés à cause d’un bateau de croisière et nous avions peur de rater notre avion, et le personnel de l’hôtel nous a très gentiment emmenés en voiture à l’aéroport! Nous avons eu notre avion et sommes extrêmement reconnaissants à l’hôtel Alcides!

Recomendable como opción de alojamiento en el centro de Ponta Delgada!!

Muy buena ubicación en el centro de Ponta Delgada, se puede visitar desde aquí fácilmente a pie. Gran oferta de restauración a pocos minutos. El señor que estaba en recepción fue genial. Preguntó si necesitábamos alguna recomendación de la zona y reservo taxi (cogíamos el vuelo al día siguiente a las 6 am). Además, al salir tan temprano, prepararon un desayuno para llevar y la máquina de café del desayuno está disponible si la necesitas. La habitación cómoda, con todo lo necesario (incluidas zapatillas) y limpia. Recomendable.

Very good value for money in the middle of Ponta Delgada

The staff was very friendly. I arrived quite late, around 10pm due to some delays with my plane, which was not a problem at all! My room was very clean, the view was not amazing as it looked out at the back of other buildings, but it was very quiet although right in the middle of the city centre which I appreciated very much! The breakfast was good with a lot of options.

Correspondeu às minhas expectativas

A localização é excelente, fica numa zona muito central de Ponta Delgada. As condições do quarto são muito boas, a cama é muito boa, tive uma excelente noite de sono. O pequena almoço é muito bom.

A rua em que se localiza o hotel é muito movimentada à noite, uns metros mais abaixo existe um bar com música ao vivo em que fazem muito barulho, felizmente as janelas são relativamente bem insonorizadas, mas acaba sempre por passar algum ruído, mas como eu estava tão cansado, foi deitar-me e adormecer num instante.

Para repetir

La ubicación, el personal y el desayuno. Está ubicado en pleno centro de Ponta Delgada, se puede ir andando a cualquier parte y aunque todas las zonas de aparcamiento de los alrededores son de pago la chica que nos hizo el check-in nos informó de una zona gratuita que estaba a 10 min andando, y ahí fue donde aparcamos el coche todos los días de nuestra estancia. El personal es muy amable y atento, tanto los de recepción como los del desayuno. Tuvimos un pequeño problema con la cerradura de nuestra habitación y nos lo solucionaron a la mayor brevedad posible. A destacar también el desayuno, sí es verdad que siempre es el mismo pero al haber mucha variedad puedes ir cambiando y no se hace repetitivo y los productos son muy ricos y de calidad. También me gustaría destacar lo bien aislada que están las habitaciones, en la misma calle hay muchos bares y suele haber jaleo por la noche y no se escucha absolutamente nada. Estuvimos 6 noches en el hotel y repetiríamos sin duda.

Que la TV no fuera smart TV ya que sólo se podían ver canales en portugués y nos habría gustado poder poner alguna app como Netflix antes de dormir.

Start your Trip in PDL in the middle of the city

Nice and clean in the middle of the city centre. Good place to start and end a trip in PDL. Also breakfast is included with fresh orange juice and fruits and the staff was friendly.

it was terribly loud. there was a party in the street. Couldn't sleep with the windows closed. All the Windows should have better acoustics performance.

Great hotel id you plan to stay up late.

The room are simple with just the essential but they are well maintained. The staff was friendly.

I'm not sure how the other reviews have not made this more abundantly clear: if you get a room on the street side it is likely you will not sleep. They are two bars, one on each side of the hotel with loud music until late at night and people all in the street. It's a pedestrian street and it seems to one of or even the busiest if the center. Great the next day to see the old city center. Not good if you wish to sleep.

Great value-price

Really good deal prize for value. Friendly employees ready to help you any time, and always in a good way (I stayed 10 days to form this opinion) Little details like they noticed after the second day I wasn't using too many pillows and removed them after the 3rd day which I really appreciated, the rooms was always impeccable, I would add chrome cast to the TV for Netflix for example. Breakfast was OK, eggs were tasty but too long cooked, breakfast was included in the price I paid and that was a pretty good deal so no complains at all though. They made a little breakfast box for when I left at 4:30 am and I considered that a detail that once again makes a great service. There was no water on the room. I would pay a daily fee to have at least a bottle of water at the room everyday.

No water to drink at the room My charger broke and they did not have one, fortunately the lady of the restaurant borrowed me hers, but I think hotels should always have phones chargers

Top staff and location.

The staff were top! Friendly, professional and helpful in organising tours with good companies. The hotel is in an excellent location close to sights.

The shower is very small, even for me at 5.2'. The bed is very hard.
