This enormous two bedroom two bathroom all tile unit is directly on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, is ONE OF THE LARGEST TWO BEDROOMS ON THIS WEB SITE! Featuring extras like a KEURIG & electric FIREPLACE, 402 has it ALL!! GULF FRONT MASTER BEDROOM with king bed is perfect for romance time. King mattress is memory foam-ultimate comfort! Wake up early at least one morning to take advantage of the amazing views FROM BED! You won't believe the phenomenal scenes you'll take in from unit 402. Definitely one of the best units I have booked. The patio furniture was great and much more relaxing. Many of us went out on the balcony to relax and listen to ocean and fell asleep. The patio furniture was a huge plus. My son immediately walked in and said this unit was better than the one we booked last year. The unit was clean, plenty of towels, and big enough for my family and I. I loved the app which had a lot of info and made check in/out easy and no stopping at an office. Everyone I spoke to in the office was so nice prior to our arrival. The only suggestions I would make is to not have white bedding and towels for many reasons I would personally choose another color, a pair of scissors which I did not see, and a small basket for when doing laundry which most other units have had. We definitely will be booking this unit again in the future as we all really enjoyed this unit!As for the building itself we have always enjoyed SD as it’s always seemed less crowded (smaller complex), pool, tennis, ocean view from living room and master with big/long balcony, the complex is always quiet at night and it is not over populated on the beach. Down side is when you have a larger suv the parking lot is a little tight in my opinion.

We loved all the extras for the beach and the fully stocked kitchen. The toaster oven and the keurig were not working and some of the bedroom plugs did not. There was plenty of seating. The beach attendant was very nice and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend.

Property was just as described. Spotless and well provisioned. The view was gorgeous whether you were inside or the balcony. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony. There was a comfortable couch and chairs. The location was perfect, less than 2 miles to great restaurants and to a Publix. Check in was via email where you were given a door entry code. Wonderful, no card entry! Checkout was via in-room ECHO. I highly recommend this property.

There is no closet in the master bedroom as listed in the unit description ...a bit odd! The kitchen is fairly well stocked however it needs some sharp knives and large skillets!! Having beach service is a plus and Devan is absolutely wonderful!

We enjoyed our stay in 402. It was clean and nicely set up. The whole complex was well kept and quiet. One thing we appreciated over other condos we have stayed at was the quiet. We did not hear any noise from outside our unit. The only complaint I have is the cleaning people came at 8:30 am. Checkout time said 10 am but they were early. We were not ready to go so they waited outside the door until we left.

Got there- had to contact assistance, we had no power. Power issue was that the main breaker was turned off. We waited outside of the unit for 45 mins waiting on maintenance. Obviously the unit was not checked before we check-in or in the last several days. 2 hours later, AC isn't working . Call for maintenance again-says he can't repair it have to wait. Someone comes out at 11 the next morning to tell us he wasn't going to chance repairing it. The property manager finally decided that they would have another unit available. I do believe that this could have been done the 1st night. Condo is in need of things being fixed. Not the same experience that I had at this unit 2 years ago. Very disappointing.

The furniture could definitely use some updating inside and out. The cushions are terrible. The kitchen had an odd assortment of pans that weren’t conducive to cooking for more than three people. The mattresses on the beds are great. We love staying at Surf Dweller but might opt for a different room next time.

The unit was clean but needs updating. The pictures were accurate but taken many years ago. Electrical outlets on wall between living room and master did not work therefore neither tv worked either! Cookware and utensils were very limited. Overall stay was good but is in serious need of some TLC.

The View
Overall we were happy with the condo. The check in process was easy. The management kept me informed of any updates and processes. The information for parking and getting into the condo was easy and organized. The management in general was very accessible and helpful.
The condo itself was very nice with a great view. We very much enjoyed sitting on the nice and comfortable balcony furniture morning, afternoon and evening. The condo is nice but showing some age.
Three women stayed in the condo. The biggest complaint -NO CLOSET SPACE!!!. The master bedroom is large and very nice. The master closet however was LOCKED. The second bedroom closet had a tall LOCKED dresser on one side and a small dresser on the other side. There were 6 hangers. We took the small dresser out of the closet just so we had a little closet space. We had half a closet with 6 hangers for 3 women!! Another hallway closet was locked. The remaining hallway closet was full of junk. This is UNACCEPTABLE . There is virtually no closet space.
There were also no blankets. A sheet and bedcover and thats it.
The nights were cool while we were there.
There was a lamp on the nightstand in the second bedroom with a big crack in it. This is not really even safe.
I called the admin office and they brought about 20 or more hangers in a timely manner. However, their response to the blanket situation was "turn up the thermostat". We went to Walmart and bought blankets.
The only can opener was also broken and they also replaced this in a timely manner.
The floor isn't very clean. I washed my feet before getting into bed at night.
We liked the location and the view and the beaches were beautiful. There are multiple restaurants, bars and shopping about 1 mile away. Traffic wasn't bad.
Overall, we were pleased. However, I would not stay in this condo again due to the closet and blanket situation.

My sisters and I so enjoyed our visit to Okaloosa Island. We were celebrating my sisters 60th birthday. We loved the huge balcony, spending mornings and evenings playing games, eating, chatting. The beach was glorious! The sand is as white as snow and cool to the touch even though the sun was warm. We loved the beach service, what a treat that was. The property manager was a pleasure to work with, they made check in and check out so easy. Thank you for such a lovely memorable week.
