Excellent stay. Would stay again

Good location. Easy to get to by Metro. Comfortable beds, good showers. Breakfast was good - its in a building just round the corner, but easy to get to. Not really an inconvenience.

Coffee making facilities in room was missing the kettle when we arrived. But they supplied one when we asked for it.

Soggiorno perfetto: Comfort e cordialità

La struttura offre una alloggio molto accogliente e ordinato, con uno staff gentile sempre pronto ad aiutare in qualsiasi modo. La colazione, servita nella struttura adiacente, è molto ricca di prodotti sia salati che dolci, e comprende anche specialità tipiche. La posizione della struttura è facilmente raggiungibile dal centro e viceversa, con mezzi pubblici a pochi metri sulla Boulevard Slivnitsa. Alle spalle della struttura si trova un ottimo ristorante tipico bulgaro. Stanza abbastanza pulita ed ordinata con servizi di ogni genere, kit inclusi, asciugacapelli e varie. Letto singolo molto comodo e temperatura della stanza perfetta. Ascensore presente in struttura abbastanza veloce. Il servizio per i clienti è di prim'ordine con gentilezza e accoglienza. La signora gentilissima ci ha spiegato tante cose sulla città.

Cuscino leggermente basso e purtroppo senza presenza di altri in stanza.

Good for Bus station

Room Good had Basics, Which included Toiletry's such as shower gel and Soap, Reasonably Clean & Warm / Comfortable, Staff Friendly, Breakfast standard-Good. Small mini bar available to purchase items from in room. Balcony was a great addition.

Bar closed not functionating, No staff to great on arrival but were prompt when called on the phone and friendly. No Breakfast facility's on site had to go around the corner to another hotel a bit of a surprise on arrival, But the breakfast was good in standard. No tea and coffee or kettle in room, would be a good addition if bar is not functioning.

Good value for money close to train and bus as well as in walking distance to the city

We stayed for only one night as we needed accommodation for an unavoidable layover. The hotel is close to both the central train and the central bus station which was the reason for choosing it apart from the price. That being said, we still easily walked into the center and some sights we managed to see in the short time in Sofia within 20 minutes. There isn't much in the immediate neighborhood but as said, the next supermarket is still only 7 minutes walk away. The receptionist who was on duty when we arrived was very friendly and accommodating. She immediately opened the luggage room without asking, as the rooms hadn't been ready, yet, and offered us breakfast packages when we told her that we had to leave earlier than initially planned. The rooms were great and the hotel managed to offer us rooms as close to each other as possible. One thing that was a bit of a dampener, though: The night shift guy who was supposed to hand over our breakfast packages and some coffee for the thermos mug was late and seemed somewhat confused, so we ended up later at our next transport than we had wished for and with no coffee but we took that as a funny episode.

Value hotel

There was parking nearby and the hotel is locate near to a metro station

We were a group of three travelers. Bedding for the sleeper couch was only brought to the room at our request just before midnight, despite checking in at 5pm and being told bedding would come. the bedding was only a sheet and pillow. On night two we finally got proper bedding for the sleeper couch, which we had to make ourselves. The room had cups for coffee but no kettle. There were only two small towels in the bathroom which was inadequate for three near adults ( we traveled with our 16 year old daughter)

Sofia in short time

It is closer to central station and metro station (5-8 minutes walking). If you want to reach city center are necessary more or less 10-15 minutes walking. Room is warm, silent and clean. Wifi is good, and there are sockets near the bed.

Just one things about breakfast. In Christmas time (I don't know if in other time of the year) you can have breakfast in another hotel...is necessary going there early or could be that a lot of food is finish.

Absolutely disgusting!

Really scary experience! I have never been more disappointed in my life. We rented 2 suites and from the beginning things did not look good. In the refrigerator of one of the suites we found - together with the minibar items - a tomato from the previous tenant. On the balcony, the stench gave a recital as it had never been cleaned. There were hundreds of cigarette butts, used soda cans and half a bottle of vodka. But what really gave us the creeps was in our second suite where we found used toilet paper from the previous tenants. I went down to the reception and mentioned all of the above at the same time. Nothing changed at all. The next day afternoon, we collected the used toilet paper in a bag and brought it down to the reception ourselves. No surprise! In the rest, the air conditioners do not work. They have disconnected them from the electricity in all the rooms, on all the floors for reasons of economy. If you complain to them - as we did - they tell you that there is a fault in the system and the technician repairs it. Three days and no repair. The TVs were not working etiher (no power at all) The receptionists are polite with knowledge of English. It's worth getting to know the night shift employee. You will honestly wonder how such a guy serves in such a position!! Frighteningly indifferent, with outbursts of anger. We pointed out the problems to him and asked him to help us solve them... What we heard is indescribable! We ended up leaving a day early, giving them our prepayment as well, as we were loathe to even sleep! Dear fellow travelers, prefer any other place. It's a shame to ruin your vacation like this!

Simple comfort close to the train station

The rooms are clean and tidy. Unlike so many hotels of similar standard in Western Europe, this three-star-hotel still provides the kind of amenities that make your stay pleasant - a proper set of toiletries, a mini bar. This was much appreciated. The location is also great if you are travelling by train. And my room had a small balcony, which was such a nice touch.

The restaurant was not working! This is why I cannot honestly say the hotel met my expectations. This should have been made clear on the hotel website.
