We enjoyed our 3 night stay and would definitely consider coming back

We very much enjoyed our stay. The room was adequate, clean and met our needs. The breakfast was of a really good standard, with plenty of options too. We really like the lakes and so if we went back to the Keswick area we would definitely consider staying here again.

There wasn't anything to criticise really. The TV had freeview with not to many options, but that would be nitpicking. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Will stay again!

Very efficient approach to checking in/out and servicing rooms. Breakfasts were lovely – excellent quality and just the right amount. So nice to be in a quiet location (with parking) but within walking distance of Keswick.

Nothing really. Oh – I couldn't get wifi, but it didn't really bother me, and was probably just a fluke.

Our stay was lovely, staff very welcoming & contactable if needed. Room very clean to high standard, very comfortable stay. Breakfast was buffet option first followed by beautifully cooked breakfast of own choice from menus. Staff bright & cheerful

The fleece blanket smelled and was full of dust. There was no shampoo and antibacterial handwash in the washroom.

Room & EnSuite were sparkling clean, private bit of garden, good breakfast. Short walk to Farmers Arms Pub that did an excellent meal

Nice spacious room, doors opening onto patio. Nice comfortable bed, quality bedding.

I would have liked taps in the bath, rather than only overhead shower, in order to run a bath. The private garden area outside our room was not tended, and this let down the room. breakfast was ok, but I would have appreciated some fresh fruit, which was mentioned in the publicity.

Location wasfine as we've stopped in portinscale a few times.

According to the reviews Rickerby Grange is Superb... I must have stayed at a different place. I thought that it was very unwelcoming,basic, shabby and in need of a thorough clean and coat of paint. The breakfast was greasy and the dining room was freezing cold and more like a canteen. We paid for 3 nights but only managed 2. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

Great value for money

We had a great stay lovely and clean with a comfy bed and nice soft towels our room was small but perfect for a short stay.Car park space right outside our room and the breakfast was tasty in a cosy room with nice attentive staff we will definitely stay here again.

Lovely property tucked away outside of Keswick, just 5 mins from the nearest lake.

the breakfast items need more cooking on everything. had undercooked sausages, toast was basically bread, and bacon was only just cooked. Besides that, no issues.

This was my second stay at Rickerby Grange, and i wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Self check in was easy and convenient. Spacious, comfortable room. Excellent cleanliness throughout. Good breakfast.

Room was a little noisy as we were on the ground floor. We could hear the room above and people on the ground floor. However, this wouldn’t put me off staying again.

A great place to stay

Great location, just out of the way of the Keswick bustle which I liked, but very walkable. Handy local pub to stroll to. Friendly staff, delicious breakfast, comfy bed. All very clean. Had a lovely 3 night stay and would definitely be back.
