Very good location and value for money

The location of the hotel is really good, staff is kind and helpful. The room was very nice, the only thing I hadn't realised was that this hotel also has smoking rooms so when I first walked in there was a bit of a cigarette smell. It's not a big deal ( others I would ask for another room), but it's something to consider while booking. Very good breakfast, I was able to store my luggage after check out as well. As it's over a restaurant street, you can hear the noise from outside.

Book a non-smoking room if you are not a smoker.

Schöner Aufenthalt, top Lage

Super Lage, direkt am Ende der Einkaufsstraße in Alsancak Sehr freundliches Personal Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück mit gut Auswahl Sauberkeit

Es war in der Nacht etwas laut, ein Fenster Richtung Straße war nicht perfekt abgedichtet. Da wir nur zwei Nächte Aufenthalt hatten, haben wir das Problem beim auschecken gemeldet.

Хорошее расположение. В пешей доступности ж.д. вокзал и набережная. Отель находится не пешеходной улице с магазинами кафе. Небольшой, уютный. В нашем номере был большой балкон. Завтраки немного однообразны, но при большом ассортименте и хорошем качестве, это абсолютно не заметно.

Качество wi-fi. Постоянно "отваливался". Это не всегда замечаешь и попадаешь на роуминг данных.

Sauberes und schönes Hotel mit sehr zentraler Lage. Viele Restaurants und Café und Fußnähe. Die Zimmer sind auch sehr geräumig - wir würden erneut kommen.

Nice hotel with great value for money

We were in İzmir for a few days and wanted to stay in Alsancak this time. From there we used the ferry boat and the metro. Thanks to the good reviews, we decided to stay at the Hay Hotel. We were satisfied and felt safe. You can only get into the room with the room card via the elevator. The breakfast was sufficient and we liked it. The room was clean and the beds comfortable.

The only drawback, which was not different in any smaller hotel in Turkey, is the isolation. Inside you didn't hear much from the neighbors. However, you could hear everything from the street. Unfortunately, this safe didn't work and the doorknob on the toilet door fell out. Nevertheless, we would recommend the hotel and come back.

Great stay at Hay Hotel!

It was nice and clean and our room was very comfortable. The shower had good water pressure. The bed was comfortable. The breakfasts were very nice with many choices.

Comfortable stay at the heart of the city

Responsive and helpful staff. Clean and new rooms and bathroom. We had a tiny problem with the lights in the room and they solved it immediately.

The street was quite noisy, but it was expected, given the location.

Excellent location. Clean, modern and comfy with a great view!

Location was perfect. Right next to a long promenade that had plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops and supermarket. We absolutely recommend exploring the side streets here at night as there were great bars on every corner with a buzzing atmosphere. The view was great overlooking the harbour from our room and you can reach it by foot in less than 5 minutes. You can also catch a ferry from the harbour and visit Karsikaya which was a great sea side town worth a visit! Room was a little small but served its purpose and more importantly it was clean with a nice big shower, modern and a very comfortable bed! There is a lift in the hotel which was super convenient for our bags and the reception staff were very friendly. One night I was sitting outside having a cigarette and the receptionist gave me a free coffee which was so sweet. Would definitely come back here if we return to Izmir and the price is affordable. Thank you!

I would like to thank the receptionist because I had the same problem I wrote it down while paying for the rooms, and he contacted the bank and returned my money at the same time. I don't remember his name but he is baldman.. Thanx very much

I did not want to write this comment, but I was forced as I encountered a problem in the Irish restaurant .. I paid by card and the amount was deducted, but they did not receive a notice of that because there was a defect in them bank , so they asked me to pay in cash. and i mentioned this note to the reception employee because the restaurant employee does not speak English and he told me that they will My returned my moeny , but unfortunately it did not happen, which means that I paid twice, although the amount is insignificant, but still it is mine it's 60$

Very friendly staff, good place for a business trip or as a couple

The staff were very helpful and friendly, suggested us great places to eat nearby, helped with calling taxi and separate invoices, we felt welcome with all our requests. The breakfast was good as well as the service. The rooms were super clean.

Good location, great interiors, comfy bed, great bathroom, nice room service.

Rooms are on the smaller side. Sometimes there was cigarette smell from the ventilation. Breakfast gets repetitive on long stays. One key card, although 2 people stayed in the room. It's loud all night if you keep the window open. Wi-Fi is around 5 megabits/sec.

Great location, very clean room, friendly staff

No internet connection on any devices. Tea, coffee and water provided for breakfast, but we have been charged extra for juice.

- The room on first floor was facing the street which a bit noisy near people walking till late night I guess if you take the other direction or higher floor will be very good

Wonderful stay with super high quality staff

We loved our stay here! Upon check-in we were greeted by the friendliest people. All speak English really well. They do there best to make you feel welcome and they were kind enough to upgrade us. There is an Irish Pub connected to the hotel with super nice, friendly people. Would definitely stay here again. Izmir is so beautiful!!!

Everything is wonderful here. It does get loud so bring some ear plugs but other than that, it's a don't miss!

Very nice hotel in a great area

Really nice hotel in a great location. Very comfortable beds with a great breakfast and very modern bathroom. The room was very spacious and the hotel staff were helpful with any requests.

In general, the impression is pleasant, I can recommend this hotel. Also tomorrow was quite good

Location is good: near the seaside, near the ferry, railway station also near. Bar street also near, big variety of restaurants and bars. Rooms had modern design

even with closed windows you can hear noise from the street. We chose a non-smoking room, but the smell of cigarette smoke was still present in the room
