Our 30th anniversary trip to Europe

First, the location is awesome. The check in is smooth although we arrived early, The room is spacious and beautiful, this is the most beautiful room in our entirely trip of 21 hotels that we stayed; the bed is comfy, the garden is quite & beautiful, the cat is lovely! Not to forget their lovely staffs too! We will be back!

the property was so beautiful. beautiful garden area for breakfast. beautiful lobby area. I loved the white cat roaming around. Our room had a beautiful balcony with a view. the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large.

there wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

The lovely hotel is hidden in a sidestreet of one of the most central parts of capri city. From there you can go to all sides of the island in a blink of an eye, the bus stop to Anacapri is close by. And still the hotel itself feels like you can get away from the crowded tourism in the streets and sit for breakfast in the lovely garden of the hotel. Breakfast is very good by the way and typical for italy more on the sweet side, the pasterys they offer are capri specialtys and I was excited I could taste what I had seen in the windows of a bakery the day before! The rooms are small and being located inward the balkony on the groundfloor didnt have a view, I also didnt check if there was a hidden fridge somewhere. But we stayed for one night and wanted to go for walks in the lovely streets and for little hikes anyhow, the room was good for our needs, lovely designed in the typical blue and yellow colors, very confy matrace and quiet. The hotel staff let us have our suitcase longer there after check out when we ask. Beware, the white cat does exist :) it snuggled up in one of our towels when we let it on the balkony to dry, how iconic! Strongly recommanded: take a little hike clockwise to the the natural stone arch in the east of the island and return passing the famous viewpoint south east of the island back to capri city. It takes about 40 to 50 minutes and gives you one of the best views! Also that way you walk some stairs rather down than upwards. Thanks for the great stay!

The hotel next door was under construction and they started work around 7:14 am in the morning. Fortunately the additional doors on the balkony doors did not only block out sunlight but also some of the noises. But we were early birds anyhow and didnt mind at all. Also the hotel is not to blame. In the future your view will be all the better with a new renovated hotel next door 😅. Maybe also that we didnt have a view but I dont remember if that could be booked sepperately or if the hotel doesnt have rooms with a view. You will not stay lot of times in the rooms anyhow.

Peaceful haven in the Capri centre

Great location close to the Piazzetta. Amicable and professional staff. Clean and comfortable surroundings at the hotel (yes white cats also). Peaceful terrazza where good buffet breakfast is served. Spacious room with all the necessassary.

Beautiful hotel in true keeping of Capri’s spirit.

Excellent location at the heart of Capri town, beautiful hotel full of original features. I love that the cat is real and not just a random name. He strolls around greeting guests like a member of staff it’s very cute.

Would be nice to have a kettle with tea/coffee in the room so you could enjoy a drink on your private terrasse or room anytime.

The hotel was practically closed nevertheless they sold two rooms with no access to the hotel facilities nor the common areas and with almost no presence of staff on the premises. Moreover, the breakfast was replaced with a voucher for a local Café (Bar da Alberto) in the main square and this was limited to a croissant, a hot beverage and little more. Too little for a 4 stars hotel. Unfortunately, the limitations that were partially explained by the pandemics situation were not announced at the time of the reservation.
