Verblichener Charme der 60er Jahre

Die Lage direkt am Meer ohne Straße in der Nähe ist einzigartig. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Die Ausstattung insgesamt ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Alles war sauber aber abgenutzt.

Morgenmaden var lidt kedelig og kunne varieres fra dag til dag. For mange kager, for få friske råvarer, frugt og grønt. Dårlig kaffe

We enjoyed the friendly staff and the traditional approach.

We enjoyed several lunches on the terrace and a few drinks before dinner. We ate at the restaurant one evening and the food was very good.

The atmosphere was a bit lacking.

very nice located directly on the beach, the hotel is generally very out dated and got like a 70-80s charm however I think many people like this! staff on the pool area is awesome, drinks and food is good, pool area also very clean

there is nothing going on around this hotel, you have to drive to Taormina (15-20min) by you own, busses are running not regularly, rooms and especially the bed is very out dated and uncomfortable

Hotel service and reception. Receptionists with low english knowledge. In the End of our holidays they add additional meals to our bill. Someone from hotel guest ordered something on bill of our room in hotel's restaurant. Situation has been resolved but with unnesesary stress

We stayed for 3 nights. Right on the beach, lovely breakfast, did not have an evening meal. All the stuff were very helpful and accommodating. We asked for a couple of things on our arrival and they were seen to straight away. The pool looked very clean, the bar area was clean and tidy.

Some bits maybe looked a bit tired and needed updating.

We enjoyed our stay especially once we found our way around. Good restaurants around closer to town.

The Hotel is located away from the town centre. If you are able and willing to walk it is in a quiet and good area. If one is elderly or has trouble walking a car is a must. The Hotel is listed as a four star. As seasoned travellers this is not a four start more a three star plus. On the positive side, staff were excellent, property is very clean, our room was cleaned perfectly thank you to the cleaners. Towels were good, breakfast was very good, the restaurant food was very good but a bit expensive. The staff were excellent. The entrance to the hotel is not inviting but secure. Overlooking the sea was the attractive feature, from your balcony. Walking to the town you walk through narrow roads then along the coast which is beautiful. Unfortunately the locals are not proud of their surroundings as the roads are littered with rubbish.

The Wifi kept dropping, the TV is too small. Do not try and compare it with other hotels in other countries but take it for what it has to offer, this way you will enjoy your stay. Public transport close to the hotel cannot be relied on as the bus never turned up and we had to walk to the town centre which is around 3kms away. The Hop on and Hop off buses are also not reliable in the area.

Perfect for a short beachside break

The property location is a gem. Set on a tranquille, peaceful and beautiful beach which views can be enjoyed from the spacious balconies the rooms offer. Beach is set on small pebble rocks so be sure to have shoes. The option of the pool was also priceless since not many hotels offered both pool and beach. The staff are friendly and helpful and the property offers the right facilities to enjoy a day but not the entire stay. Breakfast is just enough although not a 4 star expectation. Overall perfect for a relaxing short break at the beachside. Parking available easily. AC was new and working well. Balcony was heaven - large and spacious.

The property is definitely overrated. Not a 4 star but more of a 3 star. But price is that of a 4 star :-( Basic and needs a massive uplift and renovation - bet nothing has changed since its opening. The shower cabin is extremely small - those with a big stature will barely be able to move and fittings and furniture are extremely basic and cheap. Single beds are small with a spring mattress. One would need to drive to get to the centre as there is nothing in the vicinity. Lack of power outlets - could never charge our mobiles, laptop, watch at one go and was a miracle to be given an adaptor. Power outlets only at the desk.

We enjoyed our stay but either lower your prices and stars or fix the place up.

We loved the happy people working there, they really made our stay enjoyable. Breakfast is ok. The food in the snack bar very good and nice variety. The restaurant for dinner is delicious with big portions, but you will get bored with the little variety they offer if staying for a week. The beach towels were nice and soft.

That it is not up to 4 star standards. Everything is old and run down. The pool is nice but needs a new liner. The beach is nice if you don't mind the rocks and look towards the sea, but if you turn and look at the hotel it is not a nice view. The bottom parts needs to be fixed up. The old thin towels and the little packets of cheap soap, shampoo and not so nice shower. Bed covers are old. Fridge in room has only two bottles of water in it. The kids playing and partying on our private beach late into the night.

Exceptional

Wonderful location, 10 minutes away from the beautiful Taormina. Water is beautiful and clear. So many wonderful restaurants along the beach. Restaurant de Nino and the wine bar around the corner were highlights. Staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly. The hotel itself has a lot of character, and balcony in the room with the sea view is stunning.

Pool closed a bit too early at 6pm, not ideal when you get back from dinner and fancy a late night dip. However, the beach is always open and the water is always warm!

breakfast was ok, horrible coffee if not from the bar. staff is amazing, very nice and helpful, great location

old style facilities, air conditioning in the neighbours room on the outside was very loud and very disturbing, reception told us its broken and was supposed to be fixed, which didnt happen in 10 days of our stay. bed was not a double bed, but 2 beds put together
