Sehr schön und angenehm, Einrichtung veraltet aber gut erhalten!

Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr sauberes Hotel!

Leider ein kleinerer Investionsstau, aber wenn man die Bewertung liest und auch die Fotos genauer anschaut kann man sich drauf einstellen.

Für eine Nacht ok

„alter“ aber charmanter Frühstücksraum, schöner Blick durch die Panoramafenster. Motorrad konnte gegenüber vom Hotel geparkt werden, mit Auto wahrscheinlich mühsamer Zimmer großzügig ( das es aus den 70igern stammte, wussten wir ja schon 😉)

Aussenanlagen brauchen Renovierung Und bitte genauer putzen- An unseren Fenstern klebten tote Fliegen

Standard mit außergewöhnlichem Frühstücksbuffet

Ein sehr reichhaltiges, vielfältiges Frühstücksbuffet und ein sehr netter Gastgeber.

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, dafür ist der Preis recht hoch.

I would not return because we are not young. There are more accommodations around the area that would be better.

Location

It was advertised that it had a lift but you first had to climb up 28 steps with your luggage to get to the lift. It was very difficult for us elderly. The bathtub was tall and deep which also was dangerous to climb into.

The hotel is nice but no elevator in the lobby we had to carry our big suitcases to first floor and then after a good walk with little of stairs too you will find an elevator. But it a nice hotel with nice view to the mountain and a great breakfast

Great location, hotel in need of updating

good central location, near to shops, train station, bus stop, restaurants and take aways.

very dated property, one of our beds was very creaky, every time you moved it made a very loud noise. lots of stairs

Great base in Berchtesgaden

Perfect location for exploring Berchtesgaden and the surrounding area. Staff were all lovely and very helpful. Views were stunning- even on very overcast days.

You could say it needs a little update but overall the style suited the location. I would say the pillows are not good. But everything else was great!

i think it is a wonderful place to stay for a good value. i enjoy the traditional style of the rooms.

the building and rooms have a lot of charming character. nice balcony. very friendly staff. nice breakfast room and an ok breakfast. very clean.

Scenic stay in Berchtesgaden

We stayed here for Christmas, it's a nice hotel with a glorious view! And the communal areas are very nice to enjoy while reading a book or having a drink - with the mountains in the background of course. Would love yo stay here again.

Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten is a a good value, if you're okay with the lodge style.

Pros: proximity to all local public transit incl. DB trains, shopping district, nearly restaurants, cultural sites, hiking and climbing, and a very generous breakfast buffet. Nice pool and sauna too. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The room was a typical German lodge style, so if you're looking for 21st century modern, you may need to look elsewhere.

Being awakened at 7:45a by the 'Hausmeister" and his crew to fix a door that we had not reported (they got the room number wrong, and tried to come i while we were sleeping in).

A faded and tired hotel. no lifts, small room, tiny dark internal bathroom, building work next door.

Easy to get to from the train station, good room, helpful staff, delicious breakfast.

It was a very large breakfast with anything you could want. As much as you want to eat, so there's no way you would leave hungry. And, you get to enjoy it with a view of the town and mountains.

Will not stay there again.

When we arrived at the Vier Jahreszeiten, we were greeted by a 15' marble stairway to heaven, carrying 6 pieces of luggage. I am 79 years old and if I had not traveled with my young, strong grandson, I would have left and found another hotel. There was no lift and absolutely no staff to help. The young man at the reception desk was not very fluent in German or English and I had a hard time understanding him. Especially about the parking in a public parking lot, across the street. I still don't know if that was where we were supposed to park or not, Breakfast was good, bedroom comfortable.

Beautiful location

The room was a bit like being at a summer camp in the cabins. The bed was a small twin for each of us and every time I rolled over the frame of the bed squeeked so much it woke my husband up. Breakfast was okay but it was our least favorite of the 4 hotels we have stayed in so far.

Some disappointment but adequate.

The Breakfast included was above average and the view from the breakfast room was lovely. The staff very helpful and pleasant. Location very near town Center and parking.

Cleaning staff smoked cigarettes which brought smoke into our space continually:(. The photos exaggerate the state of the hotel and rooms, which is dated and rather put together with the building next door to the hotel which was not as quaint. We were given a room in the building connected to the one pictured on booking.com and it was a long walk and carry of suitcases to get there.
