Excellent Hotel

Hotel with a very pleasant ambience. Comfortable room, nice breakfast, very pleasant and helpful staff. Hotel is located within walking distance of the centre of town.

Lovely food and welcoming staff, really enjoyed our stay

Great location could walk into the town, easy to park. Attractive building with beautiful garden. All staff really helpful and smiling

Prefer more comfortable pillows we are used to feather pillows Difficult if you can’t bend your knees fully to step in for a shower, the fixed shower screen couldn’t be pushed forward to give more leg room

Amazing hotel

The hotel was beautiful and I stayed in the garden room with my sisters. It was a lovely big room and had doors that opened to the garden with a table and chairs you could sit at. The weather was really good for the time of year so sat outside with a drink. Brilliant location and fab breakfast. The restaurant was so good and loved the lounge to sit in before the meal and then afterwards too.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

This was all a total surprise for me for my birthday and my husband couldn’t have chosen better.

We had 2 x breakfast and 1x dinner, all the food was exceptional. Owners and staff were very lovely.

My only slight constructive criticism would be the power of the shower, a little more power would have helped.

Cosy stay in pretty surroundings.

The hotel is beautiful with a more traditional style. Lovely location with views of the hills. Parking available at the property. Staff were great, super helpful and friendly. Good wifi connection. Nice toiletries provided in the bathroom. Very clean and well presented.

Location, building itself, people - all were great. A lovely place to stay. Not too warm, as lots of places tend to be in my opinion, and nice and quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Breakfast could have been - well sort of less restrictive in a way. A minor quibble maybe, but cereal, yogurt and juice were specifically brought to you and there were no pastries or fuit. This made it feel less satisfying than normal, particularly as the hotel takes pride in its cuisine. All this said, I wouldn't want to overstate it as a negative. Also, the shower was slightly difficult to work and the toilet area small.

Superb service and dining in Malvern.

From the friendly welcome and right through our stay (2 nights) the service and attention from all staff were exceptional. So was the quality of food in the Amuse-Bouche restaurant - this was real gourmet dining! With interesting and different takes on traditional dishes, plus original offerings. Our room was comfortable, the gardens were nice.

Very little! Parking is a bit tight.

I had a good stay. The room was pleasant and comfortable. The breakfast was good. I was able to park in the car park.

The extractor fan in the en suite was not working. I am sure your staff must have noticed.

Excellent hotel, but not for vegetarians or vegans.

The room was comfortable. There was off road parking. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast lacked any suitable vegetarian or vegan alternatives.

A very comfortable, welcoming hotel with a touch of indulgence.

Rooms- tea in the piano lounge was delightful. Decor throughout property was very attractive. Staff were welcoming and very attentive to guests’ needs. It was quite expensive, but you felt you were living in some luxury. Check and checkout were very efficient and thorough.

Nothing really, though I would not usually pay that much for accommodation, but I often only need somewhere comfortable to sleep.

Excellent location and friendly staff. The room was clean, and the dinner was great.

Would've given the top rating, had it not been that in the last day the room was left unlocked and the chair left in the middle of the room.

Fabulous restaurant!

A fine building, beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the lounge, comfy sofas and armchairs. We had our evening meal in the restaurant, it was fabulous!

Nice room, friendly staff. Great breakfast.

Difficult to fault the hotel, but the car parking was a bit tight. On returning to the hotel in the evening there was not a space for us. Fortunately you can park on the road.

A very welcoming hotel, professionally run with attention to detail

From the moment we arrived at Cotford house everything was easy - there was plenty of room in the car park and a warm welcome at reception. The weather was scorching so they thoughtfully offered to move us to a room on the north side of the building. Location is perfect for a stroll through the lovely town. Room was well decorated, if I had to be picky the bathroom was a bit dated but everything worked and was spotlessly clean. Huge comfy bed. Delightful well kept gardens, lovely outdoor seating area, attentive staff served drinks outside no problem. I normally struggle to hear in a full restaurant but L'amuse Bouche had a lovely atmosphere - no blaring music just the hubbub of people chatting and enjoying their meal, certainly not stuffy and silent like some fine dining places. Food was excellent. The waiting staff were very professional and friendly. If I ran a small hotel I would want it to be just like the Cotford!
