The location was handy, but the hotel needs refurbishment & prices are rather high.

Child & family friendly. Location ok, if you are driving.

This Hotel badly needs refurbishment. Rooms are showing lots of wear. The Decor is gloomy & outdated. Food selection poor in the restaurant & breakfast foods cold and poorly displayed. Bathroom not very clean..Dirt in corners & cracked floor tiles. The Swimming pool changing area was dirty & crowded. No footbath entering the pool. No lifeguard. Pool railings were gritty & dirty. It felt poorly maintained. The high price does not match the quality.

The location and food was spot on.

The loud music coming from the classes that was held in the gym, when I arrived after a long working day I wanted to relax before dinner. But the thudding noise, which at first I didn't know where it was coming from. I asked the receptionist where it was coming from, and she didn't know at first but figured it out. The following morning, I was awoken just after 6am to loud music and shouting again coming from the gym. I rang down to reception and they said it would be turned down but wasn't.

Very much enjoyed our stay and visiting the surrounding area of Carlow Cty.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Gave us a good recommendation for dinner. We later enjoyed a cocktail at the bar. Rooms were clean and bed was very comfortable.

Wish there was a mini safe in the room.

It was nice and I enjoyed it.

Clean and comfy

Renovation going on and the make shift bar/ restaurant wasn’t that nice. The fact you can’t book in till 4pm was absolutely ridiculous. Half the day is gone. I’d rather be checked in earlier so I can enjoy the hotel and facilities and be able to go to my room after a lunch or drink.

Ask ahead of time if an event is planned and if so AVOID at all costs

staff were friendly and helpful from check in to check out, we was able to check in early and stayed in room 108 which was spacious and clean

we had travelled from england to see family so had been a long day, there was an event on at the hotel and with us being on the first floor it sounded as though it was in our room, i called reception and was told it would finish at midnight, however comes quarter past 12 i called again and was told 1.30am. i would never have paid over £150 for a bed if i was unable to actually sleep in it till gone 1.30am i appreciate events are planned, but i would recommend guests not attending it should be booked into the top floor or warned of it before arrival as we would without question of stayed in an alternative hotel. i do not think it is right/fair for guests to pay that much money to be told you cant go to sleep till after 1.30am. i will add, we was told we can move rooms but this was to the second floor which was still not ample as the sound was not much better, it was a major inconvenience having to pack up and move at 1am in order to try and sleep! unfortunately i will not stay again nor would i recommend it

Номер улучшенный на третьем этаже полностью соответствовал фотографии и описанию. Просторный, светлый, со шторами блэк-аут. Кровать кинг-сайз с удобным матрасом и подушками. Полотенца, постели - соответствовали. Комплектация мебели и её качество располагают к релаксу. Много осветительных приборов, что удобно и расслабляюще и создаёт уют. К удивлению для Ирландии, в номере было тепло и сухо. Просторное также помещение ванной комнаты. Хороший напор воды и качественные принадлежности для душа. Были также, чайник, утюг и чайно-кофейные мелочи. Соседей не слышали, но номер был последним по коридору - возможно, причина в этом. Было очень комфортно, уютно и чисто. Вцелом об отеле ничего сказать не могу, но номер 310 понравился

не было тапок одноразовых, что удобно и привычно. Не помешал бы халат

Superb

Room cleaning was superb, food in bar was good value for money and was super tasty great all around staff where so welcoming and chatty made it a comfy stay, All staff couldn't do enough for us. Room where spacious and had all that was needed. Close to shops and the dome which suited as I stayed with my young children

Nice place to stay overnight but some communication issues

Rooms were a large size and comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet style and provided a lot of choice for the customer.

Only a few niggles for us: - after requesting alternative milk for our stay, which the receptionist told us had been done, the restaurant didn’t know anything about it. - Booked the restaurant for dinner and told that they hadn’t booked us in upstairs at all. They had booked us downstairs in the bistro which I hadn’t requested. - Sometimes people could be quite noisy outside and down the corridors during unsociable hours. It didn’t bother myself but it did the older members of our party who were unable to sleep well because of the noise.

Relaxing stay, would definitely return.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, a wide choice of breakfast, staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed an evening meal in the bistro.

swimming pool, family friendly

room smelled of cigarettes, wasn’t very clean. handle of the door was really tricky, took 3-4 attempts to get into the room every time. The food was very poor, none of the wine we ordered off the wine list was available. The bar area and lobby were extremely cold. In general, it needs a good clean and some of the tired carpets etc could do with being changed. Very noisy - bingo loco on Saturday night.
