This location was absolutely stunning. The balcony from our room looked out over a beautiful courtyard with a view of the Girona Cathedral. During our two week stay in Spain at various locations, our stay in Girona was my favorite. The room was lovely and immaculately clean. We will definitely return!

Accommodation was perfectly situated for sightseeing and for accessibility to the restaurants and shops in Girona. Property was safe and secure and very clean.
No tea or coffee making facility in the room.
Lovely large balcony which would benefit from a table and chairs.

Location friendliness of staff and facilitating our taxi pick up thank you

Staff were very helpful and offered great advice re. parking in the old town area.

Great location very near to the main cathedral with a beautiful view over the old city tiled roofs & the tolling the bells. Light and well ventilated as could open the windows. Very clean.
Could be some improvement in provision of facilities in the kitchen such as an electric jug and a tea towel to dry dishes.

The location of this stay was amazing. Located in Old Girona - rich with history - we felt like we were fully immersed in the experience. The room was in a building about 2 minutes from where you checked in. My family of 5 each had our own bed in a large room. We needed a wine cork at one point and our host was happy to offer us one. It was in close proximity to historical sights as well as cafes and restaurants. Highly recommend this authentic Old Girona stay.
I don't have any complaints. It was fabulous. If you are looking for a more modern hotel, this is not the place for you. Although the building was very old, we lacked for nothing and were very comfortable.

Very cool location in the old city. The apartment is a nice mix of historic setting with modern beds, kitchenette, etc. Couch was dated and worn but fine. The furnishings weren't fancy but we loved our stay in this historic building. Loved being able to walk everywhere easily. We were a family of 4 and appreciated 2 twin beds in a separate room for our children, though we had to shift furniture to close the door.
Make sure to read the directions about where to check in--the hotel check-in is off site; only a short walk away but I didn't read the details carefully and it took us a long time to find the right place.
Having only 1 set of keys made it impossible for our family to come and go separately.
Walls are very thin and we heard others coming in at night. Church bells rung regularly until midnight.

great location, great value.

The location and the historic building is stunning. Will be absolutely perfect when building renovation works are finished.
The cement dust/grit was EVERYWHERE due to on site renovations. Should not take reservations until building work is complete. Felt like we were staying on a contruction site (actually, we were).
Room needed an electric kettle and hair dryer. Bedroom window needed curtains. Also some floor rugs and artwork on walls would have finished the room off nicely.

Good option for a stay in Girona.
Lovely place right in the old town.

Everything! Location was excellent, was worried about the bells but despite being next door to the cathedral, we weren't bothered by them at all. The apartment we had was 201, on the second floor, just a beautiful old building, which did what we needed it to do. Very spacious. Kitchen was basic but we weren't going to make use of that anyway. Stunning views from the back windows, particularly of the amazing thunder storm we had whilst there. Girona itself was an unexpected joy, so glad we stopped off. Will stay here again when we return to see more of Girona.

A spacious, stylish room blended very well with the old character features. Modern roomy bathroom.
Delightful seating area in landing outside bedroom with balcony. Very good location for exploring Girona Old Town
There was no hair dryer available and no soap for handwashing in the bathroom.

Casa Cundaro is a gem of a location, right in the centre of the old town and a step or two away from the cathedral and museums - you can see the bell tower of the cathedral out the roof skylight in the top floor apartment we stayed in! Despite that, it is quiet and restful - no street noise intrudes on you, and there are few neighbours on the top floor to disturb your rest. There's air conditioning if you need it, and a small kitchen with a fridge and cooking hob. It feels spacious, more than an equivalent hotel room. Beds are comfortable and clean, and - despite it being an ancient building - it is nicely modern inside, with a large TV if you need to put your feet up. There is decent WiFi too, which is a plus. The water pressure in the shower is great for such an old building and a top floor, too. The building itself is steeped in history, and you can see touches of the previous owners & residents.
A little confusion about arrival - call the number to get the keys, as the reception is a few hundred metres away in a nearby hotel round the corner. You can't just turn up at the door and go in, as it is basically an apartment block - although such a beautiful and ancient one that tourists stop to look through the doors into the courtyard (remember to lock the door behind you, otherwise you'll have unwanted tourism in the garden!). Some minor maintenance is needed in the apartment - some drips here and there, some corners looking their age. All part of the character. Oh, and the stairs to the apartment won't be for everyone.

Everything. we were shown directly to our apartment by the owner. fantastic location right in the centre of the old town. Beds were comfortable and everything very clean. We even had a separate sitting room with kitchenette which would be so useful for anyone that did not want to eat out all the time.
Small point but there was no kettle which would be useful . Stayed in another apartment in France which did supply tea coffee and milk.

The view of the courtyard and bougainvillea was fantastic!

It is SO charming! Central location—right around the corner from the major sites, just up from cafés. Nice garden view. Super nice/helpful staff. Aesthetically, I was very happy! We were in a triple and the apartment was plenty of room for a family of three. Very effective A/C unit (this is important!!). Adorable alleyway next to the hotel.
Difficult to shower without getting water on the floor. The first night, there was still dampness and the mildew smell was very strong. This was difficult for me, as mildew triggers migraines for me. However, once we opened the window completely and shut the bathroom door, it dissipated somewhat quickly.
Not all of the steps leading up to the room had automatic lighting.
No coffeepot that we noticed.
(And while this is NOT the fault of the hotel and was not taken into account with my rating score, people should understand that Girona in general is very hilly—especially old town. The steps to the hotel are not for the faint of heart! Old town isn’t the best part of the city to stay in step-wise (bad knees? don’t do it! asthma? expect attacks). It is, however, charming enough to be worth it!!)

location is perfect
the steel door makes a huge noises whenever you open or close it, which affects very much especially during midnight when you try to sleep.

Location was really great, apartment was clean and big. Courtyard was really nice! Checking in and out was easy, during the night no noises worried us. We would recommend this place!
Everything was OK, maybe floors were a bit cold and someone may not like that small smell of old house (it wasn't big and did not bother us). It also could be great to have doors between rooms with beds.

fascinating beautiful building. comfy beds. great location…
