This home is absolutely a tropical sanctuary. Very clean and beautifully decorated. I honestly did not want to leave! The pool area is very relaxing. I definitely will be back!

We enjoyed the pond view from the pool and watching the turtles, birds and other wildlife. Location was excellent and close to everything. House was clean & kitchen well equipped.

We really enjoyed our time at the Treasure Chest! The home was the perfect size for our group of 4. We found it to be very comfortable and relaxing. The house is very well maintained and you can tell the owners take great pride in it. Loved the location…it is in a quiet neighborhood and only a short drive to Anna Maria Island, beaches and attractions. We loved spending time outside by the pool while enjoying the wildlife and nature of the small pond. The back yard is landscaped very well and feels secluded even though there are neighbors on both sides. Owners were very accommodating and responded quickly to any questions we had. Would definitely return!

Overall, the stay was great for the three of us women in our early 70's. We hadn't considered the temperature of the pool water and were surprised when we found it to be so warm. The other issue was a non-working grill. I called property management and within a few hours, Alex was there and fixed it (new battery on ignition switch). He also turned off the solar that heats the pool and made the water cooler and much more refreshing.
The house has a ton of plates, glasses and all sorts of utensils although grill specific utensils would have been nice. There are plenty of chairs, lounges, dining chairs outside on the patio. We spent most of our time enjoying the patio and scenery.
I suggest including a few maps of the area in the welcome book. Also, some fun/helpful materials on local birds as there is a wonderful pond right there.
It was very private, quiet and just what we were looking for....we would go back and stay there again.

We normally stay on Longboat Key but when I went to book all those properties were taken and the cost was outrageous. So I decided to try Treasure Chest instead. We were pleasantly surprised. The place is exactly as it appears in the pictures - maybe nicer. The neighborhood was convenient and quiet. The house is spacious and tastefully decorated. Having the pool was a real plus. We went to the beach a couple days but the traffic on the island was horrible.
Overall, very nice. I would stay there again.

We enjoyed the patio and watching ibis, heron and even a kingfisher.
The pool was high maintenance and a lanai would be a plus.

Upon arrival, the house was clean, stocked, and welcoming! We were excited about the size of the house and the decor. We loved the outside patio and pool space! Great location in a quiet neighborhood and close to many Anna Maria island attractions. We loved our stay at the Treasure chest!

The house was fantastic
The area was fantastic, not a lot of noise.
The only downfall I had on this vacation was the cleanliness of the pool. And this was because of the one tree that was continuously shedding, banana peel, size leaves, and seeds that left residue in the open air pool.. the pool water wasn’t crystal clear. Even when we got out, we had to shower off because we were covered in particles.. it’s a huge investment for the owners, and the only thing that I could say to really make this property shine, would be to enclose it in screen covering. Because no matter how hard is the wind blows you’re going to get residue in the pool.
Some days are better than others I will admit. But other days I would come home from catching a spring training, baseball game and the pool floor vacuum would be clogged up and hadn’t been running all afternoon. would be clogged up and hadn’t been running all afternoon. I would have to spend time to skim the water and try to get it as clean as possible. Which didn’t quite seem to happen at all during the vacation..
Don’t give me wrong vacation was great, but the pool was the only downfall for me which I spent a lot of time in my investment in. Slightly disappointing I’d have to say..
But thank you for the opportunity to stay there.

This is a beautiful house with an amazing outdoor area. The pictures don't tell the whole story. The decor is so well done with great attention to detail. The furniture, the linens , the lightening, the landscaping ,the pool , the glassware and dishes, everything was tastefully picked by a talented designer. It's really a beautiful home.
The location is great.Stores near by. I rode a bike every day to the Robinson preserve or Anna Maria Island & Cortez. It was quiet and serene sitting around the pool. The only challenge was figuring out the 4 TV remotes. There were great instructions for everything in the house ..but the TV. I sat out by the pool instead of in front of the TV most of the time.This was a perfect place for my elderly mom to be able to get around easily and relax while I went out to explore.
We both LOVED the Treasure Chest. We hope to be able to return next year.

Quiet and comfortable
This is our second time renting a VRBO in the Bradenton area. The location was terrific, the house comfortable, and the amenities exactly to our liking. We will return to this property again.

Basically all good! With wind, pollen and proximity to large tree pool needed constant skimming. Market umbrella was broken. These are minor points, it was a very nice place to stay!!

Near perfection
We loved staying in this comfortable and beautiful house in Bradenton. The backyard view across a small lake with gorgeous lush surrounding vegetation is exceptionally beautiful. Too bad the solar heated pool conked out a few days before we left. We called, but pool maintenance never showed up.

Adorable Little Yellow House with Pool on Pond Filled with Nature
I always wanted a little yellow house with a pool and got my wish. This home is adorable, comfortable for a group or a couple. The pool is delightful and the privacy in the back yard is amazing. We spent many hours in the yard, looking at the pond wildlife and enjoyed the sunset sky (can't see the sun go down but the sky is beautiful). We enjoyed Robinson Preserve each day; definitely use the recommended company for bike rentals as they are efficient. The property mgmt company was superb; lights on in the home on arrival (we checked in at night), small ipad giving all details on the home and area. This is the way to do things - we had all our answers fast and easily. We used Bradenton as a base; 2 days at Anna Maria Island's beaches (beautiful), Cortez for casual lunches, went to Sarasota 2 days, went to St Petersburg 2 days so really got around. We didn't find too many fine-dining restaurants in Bradenton area and ate in alot but thought this home was ideal as a base to see St Pete/Sarasota and beach access. Couldn't have been happier. Thanks to all.

Great stay for the family!
Everything was super easy and great place to stay. We had a 3 and 5 year old with us who enjoyed the pool and outdoors. Really short drive to the beach. Would definitely go back again.

This was a great vacation rental, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We had a family of 5 and it worked out well. Other reviewers mentioned older appliances, etc, but everything seemed newish to us and everthing worked well. It’s well appointed throughout and the beds are super comfortable. Also, there are beach chairs, etc.What could be better? It’s hard for me to say, there are things we have at home that weren’t available in the house, but that would be different for everyone. And, this is a vacation rental, so you can’t expect to have everything you have at home. Certainly, there was nothing missing that caused us any issues.All in all, a very solid vacation, and I highly recommend this house.

Great two week stay during spring break 2021
This was a great vacation rental, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We had a family of 5 and it worked out well. What did we like best about it?
- The backyard, it’s so private and the pool was amazing, not sure if it’s a saltwater system, but it felt great. As others have mentioned, we went to the beach early (by 10am) and when it started to get crowded, we’d come back to the serenity of the house and pool, was so nice to have that option.
- I have to mention Robinson Preserve because we spent so much time there. A beautiful park only about a mile away. Running, walking, kayaking, and wildlife, can’t beat it, and we did all those things.
- The house location was close to everything, beaches, shopping, food, etc. We did run into some traffic on the bridges to AMI due to spring break but we had no issues getting parking at the beaches and overall they didn’t seem too crowded.
- We explored all the islands down to Sarasota and Lido Key, so many things to do.

Relaxing
We had a great stay, the house was super clean, tons of towels for the pool. Washer and dryer worked great. Close enough to beaches, grocery stores, restaurants and Robinson preserve, yet also secluded and private. A steal for the price honestly! I was nervous it would be too far from activites but it was just right.

Love the property & house. Will stay again.
Enjoyed our stay. Pool is more shaded this time of year which stinks but not a problem. Something relieved itself in the pool the last day we were there and it appeared to be an iguana... we had the same issue in the keys and it looked very similar so you should be aware there might be one in the area which I know seems odd. It was mich larger than racoon feces. I also observed 2 coyote late one night that awoke me... i turned in the front light & they were in the driveway headed across the street. Wildlife!

Nice home for families near the beaches
This home is perfect to be away from all the beach traffic yet be at the beach in 15 minutes. If the beach got too crazy, we came home to the pool. Grocery store right around the corner for all your needs. We spent our ten days exploring all around Anna Maria Island, Longboat Key and Sarasota.

What an amazing relaxing experience! The house was beautiful! Close to beaches, restaurants and shopping centers. My son enjoyed the pool and the swing. Beds were super comfortable! We loved drinking our coffee every morning while enjoying all the birds and squirrels in the backyard. Very quiet neighborhood. Overall a wonderful experience! We will definitely be back.

This place made you feel at home. Alex did everything to make are stay comfortable. Much to see and do in the area. The pool was wonderful to be in when it was hot outside. Will definitely be back again.

Well equipped. Lots of towels and dishes. Both bedrooms had King size beds. as four female adults both rooms would benefit from twin beds. Could always push together to make a king. Small den bed OK for child, although I slept in it. Pool was a lot of work as lots of seeds and leaves falling from trees. Pool maintenance came once per week, twice would have been better. Although we used it most every night, BBQ required new innards (rusted through) and the lighter did not work. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. Good place for Americans to rent, not so Canadians unless money is no object.

Amazing experience
The house is exactly as pictured. We loved the home. Best vacation rental home yet. Very clean, lots of nice extras. Well manicured and paradise style backyard. Tons of beach towels , gas grill and kitchen utensils. Very spacious for a family of 4. 10 min from the beach. I wouldn’t change a thing. We loves it.

Truly a Treasure
We (2 family members from the UK along with my wife and myself from Canada) spent 10 days in November at Treasure Chest. We have rented many villas both in the US and Europe and we all agree that it was a fantastic place to stay. The neighborhood surrounding the house is very nice and safe for walking with nature areas nearby. Treasure Chest is actually better than you see in the pictures. The garden area is paradise with the view over the pool to the back pond. It is very private and quiet back there. Lots of turtles to feed in the pond. The house is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need including lots of space. Bedrooms are very large with walk in closets and lots of hangers and drawers. Island Dreams and Alex have the place very well organized with lots of information relative to the house and area. Anna Maria Island is a short drive away with fantastic beaches and ocean and is close to the main road with everything you could wish for when you have to shop. Beach chairs are hung on the side wall ready to use. Lots of towels etc. Overall, we had an outstanding vacation and would have no hesitation in recommending Treasure Chest for a great stay and good value. Overall 5 stars plus, plus, plus
