Online looks great BUT.........

The shower and toilet were clean and plenty of hot water. Pacific Fair with 5min walk.

When I went to pay on at the counter, I was asked to pay $400 deposit. There isn't anything in there that was worth 400. This wasn't stated on email. You can feel the inner springs in the mattress. Smart TV, yeah, right. Also, at the moment, there is 24-hour road works within 100mt of the motel + 2 high-rise buildings being built. The rooms were shaking at 3am with the steel drum rollers with vibrations. The constant plant reverse beepers are going, as they are building new tram tracks to go straight past the motel. So, god only knows the noise when finished. Packed up and left at 4am.

location, best price in town, free parking. restaurants in walking distance

Do not arrive after 5 pm sharp. Check in after-hours is complicated (Office closed) Lots of roadworks and building sites all around the Motel

One of the worst hotel stays I've had. Definitely never go there again.

The air conditioner didn't work, and they did nothing about it when I informed them. They didn't provide milk to make coffee. There was only one blanket and it was relatively cold nights in the room.

Road works and construction block easy access to motel and go all night long. Place was not clean. Staff not helpful. We were booked in for five nights but left after one due to noise and not being able to sleep. They refused to give us a refund.

Very basic room ok for a single over night if your not expecting too much

The rooms were large and the pet cat was cute enjoyed a cuddle with the cat.

We left an item behind rang several times while in the area and reception never answered. When we drove back she was sitting behind the counter watching TV. Beds were not comfortable at all.

location was great right across the road from pacific fair no need for a car to get there

the noise that was in the car park this morning around 2:45am and neighbour's in room 2 was abit noisy early this morning as well herd a lot of banging coming from there room

Don't stay alongside a building site which works until late in the evening!

The en-suite was good with modern tiles. We were pleased to be able to have our room swapped for a ground floor one.

The noise! There was a building site alongside where work - which was very noisy - continued until after 10pm and after that there was still noise. The TV didn't work properly initially and there was no one at reception (closed soon after 5pm) and there was a $50 charge for reporting a 'problem' that was not an 'emergency.' Fortunately, we managed to fi x the problem with the TV ourselves.

Massively disappointed

Not much… it was in close proximity to the beach which was a really beautiful place to walk and watch sun rise. And right across the street from a large mall. But the motel itself has seen better days.

Everything. Staff seemed pretty unimpressed with the whole situation. The photos on booking are not accurate. We stayed the first night but decided to book another place because the bed was so uncomfortable.

Staff were pleasant to deal with, check in and out and refund was all easy. Won’t be staying again though

Location Bathroom was fresh and fairly new

Carpet was old and room really smelled bad when we arrived Bed was so hard sleep was awful. Was even to hard for my 11 year old who was with me to the point we purchased an air mattress and put it on the floor to sleep on.

Location was super useful for me.

No hot water for showers at all. I asked to be on the top floor for safety reasons but was on the bottom floor with room leading out onto carpark, onto one of the busiest roads in the GC. Additionally roadworks and really noisy.

Bed & pillows desperately need replacing. Plumbing is an issue as whenever someone upstairs showered the noise was unbearable.
