Good

Managed a great deal, while others were through the roof (Coldpay gig in town). Very central. Everything we needed. Very friendly staff. All good.

Nothing to dislike. Could do with a lick of paint in the room, but that's all.

Great location, friendly staff, the room was fine. Only problem were the facilities (there was no ironing board for instance). Further the room seemed hygienic, only thing we would recommend the accommodation is to remove the stains on the ceiling. This did not satisfy the eye. Further no complaints.

Not my booking.com standard

The airconditioning worked very well and beds were clean and good. The building itself is nice and ancient touches, which is great.

The staff was at first friendly and helpful when check-in. Right after it only became more and more unfriendly!! The noisy stairs and rooms (everything cracks because of the woods) causes that other guests complain and not being at fault. You cannot even enter the building after 11 p.m. without getting a yelling warning from the reception staff. With waving hands he indicates other rooms complain while we weren't the whole day in the building. The whole time you are monitored by the staff in the camera's, and we felt like we were followed everywhere and everything we do in the building! Very unpleasant! They require you to return the keys whenever you leave the room (very uncommon for Booking.com rooms). We left for some coffee before check-out. When we returned the room was opened and blankets already removed while there still was 2 hours left to the check-out time. This is incredible and I'm very disappointed!! The information on the property should be clear that after 8p.m. it is not possible to check-in. As you will be never ready and settled for 11p.m.!! Also, the location is very centered and closed to a train, ideal for night life and go out, but as it is very noise, I would not recommend this. The rooms were cleaned, but the bathroom was somewhat dirty with hair inside the bathtub. Very unpleasant. So totally not my Booking.com standard, which I have seen a lot.

Superb

Location is great, next to the train station, river and a few walks to the old town. Supermarkets, fruit shops are nearby. Friendly and helpful staff.

We have quite a big suitcase but no elevator available because it’s a very old building, but the staff helped us to bring it to the room. It was noisy sometimes as our window face the main street and loud motorbikes still run late at night.

We would stay again!

The room (and the whole building) was really beautiful. Our room (and towels&sheets) were very clean - exactly was we needed. 😊 All the stuff was super nice.

It’s not luxury, but very good accommodation. I recommend.

The air in the room was mouldy, the toilet stank, the pictures were deceiving and not worth the money at all. The wardrobe was rickety and swinging!!! The only hope in this place is George, who has probably lost all hope in this place!

The location is great, just next to the train station and the main street. We had a room with private bathroom, everything was clean and quiet so we were able to sleep well. The room is basic but fine.

In the bathroom, water was dripping onto the floor from under the sink and toilet. Unfortunately, the attempt to repair the leak was unsuccessful. It was dangerous to have wet and slippery floor.
