Een ontspannen en hartelijke kennismaking met Middelburg

Nette en schone (bad)kamer, een centrale en toch rustige ligging nabij het station. Het ontbijt is ruim voldoende( hiervan gebruik gemaakt in het 50 meter verder gelegen hotel de Nieuwe Doelen)

Een mooi pand, op een mooie locatie in een mooie stad, met een goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.

We werden uiterst vriendelijk ontvangen. We kregen een kamer met een wat groter bed voor dezelfde prijs. Een upgrade naar een wat grotere kamer tegen betaling van 10 pp extra vonden we niet nodig. Er was geen ontbijt beschikbaar, maar als we wilden dan zou de dame voor ons wat gaan maken. Daar hebben we geen gebruik van gemaakt.

De kamer was netjes en voldeed aan de verwachtingen. De badkamer is wat klein, maar te doen.

OK for one night but wouldn't stay again - not particularly welcoming

Location adjacent to the train station and in town

Small room, dated decor, steep stairs, creaky floors, thin walls, too hot even though not particularly warm outside

No kettle to make tea in the room, this is an oversight IMHO.

The owner upgraded my room for free, I couldnt be more grateful! I booked the room on the second floor, I think after knowing that I had a really heavy luggage, he was willing to upgrade the room, so I could get the room on the first floor (:

Mesmerizing Middelburg

The location is one of the best. The view is Fabulous. The hotel design and comfort is amazing 🤩 The staff friendly and caring. It was one of my best sleep 😴

Great hotel in Middelburg

Great location, comfy bed, and the hospitality! The owner went above and beyond to make sure I get all that i needed during my stay. Plus point for me is that the hotel has a great fan, perfect for hot summer night. Totally recommend if you ever visit Middelburg!

Exceptional

The room was perfect. Clean tidy and very comfortable with nice views. The host and owner, Gerard, was very easy to communicate with and went beyond what you would expect to make sure I had everything i needed and that I enjoyed my stay. The location is great, close to the train station and an easy walk into the town center. I will be staying here again on my next visit.

Perfect in every way.

Upon arrival we checked in and were greeted by Gérard who was very very helpful and gave us good tips on parking, where to eat, guided tours etc. The room was perfect.

The room was a little too warm, we had to get up in the middle of the night to turn on the fan.

Very centrally situated nice hotel with a very friendly owner

Le Beau Rivage is a very nice small hotel, just in front of the railway station of Middelburg, you just need to cross over the water. It is a very quiet area, very close to the city center, less than 5 minutes walking. Our host is a very kind and friendly person, he was not only checking us in rather late in the evening (there is an easy system of contactless check-in), but the next morning he allowed us to take place at the garden for the breakfast (we didn't choose for the buffet breakfast, and had everything with us as we are eating gluten and lactose-free), and even offered us a cup of tea. Our stay at Le Beau Rivage was a great important part of our short vacation in Middelburg!
