The warm welcome was fantastic and all the staff couldn't have been nicer. Our room was immaculate and the giant bed super comfortable.

A great place to stay while exploring the stunning surroundings.

All the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The evening meals and breakfast were superb in quality and quantity. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. We just found that being at the the front of the hotel right next to the road, although it is not particularly busy, it is very noticeable when traffic goes past. Otherwise the hotel was quiet and I would highly recommend it for the service provided.

I have been going for many years, still good, but I would suggest a refurbishment is due. Decor is starting to get a bit tired.

great break away in a part of Donegal that my husband and I love

Beautiful rooms, very comfy beds. Great food. the only slight criticism I have and it’s only minor our room 211 was at the back of the property in very close proximity to the noisy extraction/ventilation units for the kitchen, we compensated by buying ear plugs.

it’s in a beautiful scenic area of Donegal.

Disappointed. we love eating out, and this wasn’t what we had expected!

Menu needs to be updated! Four curry’s on the one menu ! Not good menu planning! Room very noisy due to road traffic!

A nice hotel, good food but mattress not good not good. Needs an update so supports the body! The food was good and the staff was great !! was great indeed

The bed mattress too old. It doesn’t support the body so had difficulty sleeping my and street light outside the room not good good.

Very expensive for old hotel. No air con, no safe, shower in bath, cracked bathroom tiles, worn curtains.

An authentic Irish experience . Highly recommended!

Excellent service. made us feel like we were family. brilliant local talented musician in the bar ‘Rory….’. Great food and great room.

Beautiful hotel that gives you an authentic Irish experience (even if you’re Irish…which I am). Came home from Australia after 4 years and had a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

Having to leave very early on the Friday morning, 4am, was given a 'takeaway' breakfast consisting of a huge fruit salad and Guinness bread the evening before. Which was delicious and very much appreciated.

Bar manager was obnoxious.
