Personal welcome and history of palazzo family home. Great location, suitable for adults who appreciate fine culture and quality.

We enjoyed our stay

The decor was a traditional grand apartment and very charming . Very clean. The host allowed us to check in early which was very kind.

No working TV but the host offered to come and fix/turn on but it was not a smart tv so no need to disturb them. . The lighting was a little gloomy. The odd brighter lamp would have been welcomed. The towels were too small and hard but good bed linen so just being picky.

Old world charm, terrific location..comfortable setting for mature adults!

Location- in the heart of the historic center/so convenient to shops, restaurants, walkable landmarks & public transportation..Met our needs #of Beds & Baths. Loved the old world look while safe & secure. comfortable beds, excellent kitchen for our needs - mainly breakfast. Grocery store nearby. Charming large living area with huge windows-drapes for privacy- that overlooked a vibrant neighborhood & streets, but house was quiet and no outside noise to disturb our sleep. A well loved family apartment..

Like some properties..it had its little quirks.. but given the historic nature and obvious care by the hosts..we are used to traveling in Italy..and enjoy adapting to special places like this.

odlična lokacija - starinska palača sredi centra mesta, ogromno prostora in zgodovinska izkušnja zaradi starinskega pohištva, opreme in osebnih predmetov prejšnih prebivalcev stanovanja. stanovanje je neke vrste muzej g. franca vasoina - pravnika, ki je v hiši živel do svoje smrti; stanovanje je ohranjeno takšno, kot je bilo za časa njegovega življenja, s fotografijami, osebnimi predmeti ipd. občutek bivanja v stanovanju je zato nenavaden, kot da bi prišli na obisk k daljnjemu preminulemu sorodniku.

voda v kopalnici se je segrevala zelo počasi; radiatorji so bili mlačni in stanovanje je bilo izredno mrzlo, zaradi velikosti prostora ga je bilo nemogoče segreti. pohištvo je zelo staro, sedežne garniture v salonu bi bilo dobro prenoviti.

Beautiful apartment that is both charming and grand!

Truly majestic apartment in a perfect location!

The bed could have been a bit more comfortable, but any downsides were more than made up for with the charm of the space.

Better than advertised! Amazing owners!

This property had an exceptional value. There is great history in this unit, and I couldn’t believe how big the place was. Also, the owners are exceptional people, and we’re very very kind to us

The air-conditioning shut off in the middle of the night because they have roving electricity issues in that area of the city. We happen to be there during a heatwave so it interrupted sleep a bit.

A gem of an apartment in a must-see city.

This a gorgeous and spacious apartment! The hosts were kind and helpful and the place was well-equipped with the essentials for our stay - including information about the city. This was the most home-away-from-home place we have ever stayed (and the air conditioning was a bonus!) Padova itself is an amazing city, and a perfect spot for day trips around the region. It is a 30-minute train to Venice, an hour drive to the beaches in Chioggio, and a train ride or drive to Bologna, Verona and Bassano del Grappa. We would return just to explore more of Padova and stay in this beautiful apartment.

More of an observation than a criticism - perhaps you need to remove some of the disabled features from bathroom to make people feel more comfortable. Also the second double bed in the piano room needs to be a real bed, not a pullout.

Fantastic nice kept place! …but in crazy ztl zone.

Very nice and spacious place that has history to it.

In general ztl in Italy is making places to sleep in the best locations problematic for people that do longer drive around vacation by car. You are essentially forced to carry luggage long distance from parking. in case of 2 + 2 family packed for 3 weeks it’s a major issue. This is outrageous in country that has big portion of income from tourism. I used to go to Italy almost every year for 3+ week’s vacation with kids, but ztl idea makes it no longer feasible. if you don’t drive with kids, this comment doesn’t apply to you.

Amazing grand 15th century palazzo with classical furniture and decor and modern amenities! Large, comfortable and in the heart of Padua, a beautiful city! We will definitely stay there again if it is available. The host us warm, helpful and accommodating. Thank you for opening your home to us!

Very good

Staying at Note di Piano was like staying in a frozen moment of a time in Italy. The apartment was big. The windows were huge, and the family momentos and painting gave the property a personal feel. The location is perfectly located. Francesca was the perfect host. Very responsive.

Most of the furniture in the living room was uncomfortable but considered them part of a movie set. There was no washing machine as listed, but Francesca did our laundry for us.

Alessandro, his mum and his brother were very friendly and helpful. They welcomed us like family friends. The entire stay was a pleasure, and the location was perfect.

Exceptional

Excellent historic building, excellent furniture with masterpieces of carpentry, very lovely host family, fabulous house keeping. Location very central in Padua, and still there was perfect quiecy. We came there for work and had a fabulous environment both for work and leisure.

Hot water supply in the bathroom was a bit slow. Some guests may find this challenging. We found ways do deal with it. On the plus side: reduced CO2 emissions.

Excellent location and unique and attractive apartment, but could do with updating

Beautiful apartment in excellent location with bags of space and a grand piano.

The kitchen and bathroom could do with updating and one of the two double beds dipped in the middle.

What a find!"

The size and magnificence blew us away. 15 foot ceilings, about 2500 square feet, one bedroom had both an acoustic baby grand piano and a digital spinet. The photo doesn't do it justice.

Truly old world and fine for a short stay.

Responsive and helpful owner. Great location. Large unit with great old world feel.

For those who do not prefer B&Bs, it should be noted this unit has a very distinct B&B feel with lots of family photos and mementos throughout the apartment. For those considering a longer stay, appreciating a "time capsule" is much easier than living in one. Old world standard fare such as dark cavernous rooms with poor lighting and hot water that takes forever too arrive has less appeal with each passing day.

Comfortable stay in a huge apartment in a historic palazzo in the center of Padova

The location in downtown Padova was stupendous. Close to the train station, in the heart of the pedestrian district. The palazzo was historic but in great condition, the apartment was an entire floor. It had clearly been a family home and still contained most of its contents from that time, including a Steinway grand piano. The kitchen was large and comfortable, the living/ dining area was huge. There were two full baths, 3 bedrooms plus a sofa bed in the library. Everything was very clean. We regretted that it was a short stopover and would love to return for a longer stay.

The heat just kept blasting, even though we turned down all the thermostats. We had to resort to opening some windows, though we certainly hated to burn gas and let the heat out. The mattresses could stand to be replaced, but we slept ok. Everything else was great.
