Mir hat die Sicht auf die Stadt gefallen. Die Stadt ist allgemein sehr schön.

Schönes Appartment mit Nähe zur Innenstadt

Direkte Lage zu verschiedenen Bushaltestellen. Ausstattung wie erwartet. Lüftungsanlage Fenster in der Wohnküche sind abgedunkelt (Ausrichtung nach Süden) und ausreichend Schalldicht. Parkplatz im Hinterhof.

KEINE Klimatisierung, bereit gestellter Ventilator reicht nicht. Die Lüftungsanlage kühlt die Räume nicht. Es wird nur Außenluft eingeblasen. Die Anlage läuft nicht dauernd. Dadurch in der Dusche sehr lange feucht.

Der Aufenthalt im Aparthotel hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Bushaltestelle war direkt vor der Tür.

Die Küchenausstattung entsprach genau unseren Vorstellungen und wir konnten uns schnell selbst verpflegen.

We would love to come again.

I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Large, nice and clean apartment. Good bus connections right outside the apartment. We would love to come again.

The area is not that interesting, and you can't open the bedroom window.

Great value and definitely recommend

Good facilities, clean and comfortable. Good communication with staff when required. It’s a little way out but buses stop right outside and take you everywhere.

Comfortable

Convinient transport to city, free parking was a huge plus, very comfortable apartment. Check in and out was very easy.

There was a misunderstanding about room cleaning, we thought that the room is cleaned everyday but learned that we need to book a day before hand and pay an extra cleaning fee. Toilet paper and supplements such as dishwasher soap, paper towel etc. were available upon request and we did not know that either so we bought some of that stuff from market. Overall, supplements and cleaning policy were a bit confusing other than these everything was fine.

Excellent accomodation

The apartment was perfectly clean and very well equipped. There was everything we needed and even more. The location is also great, not far from the city center of Hamburg. There is also a bus stop right in front of the building, so public transport is also available. Definitely worth the money! If we ever visit Hamburg again, we'll definitely choose Aparthotel am Südkanal!

Good place for money!

The location was good but unfortunatelly due to the roadwork was very difficult to enter the parking. The property was clean. The bus stop was in front of the building. A supermaket was at 15 minutes walking distance and a metrostation also at 15-20 minutes away. Good place for maney in Hamburg where prices are high.

No air conditioning. The windows from the bedroom imposibble to open. Some noise from the workroad around the building. No restaurants nearby. We had to pay for all the stay a few weeks before and due an unhappy familly event we left the hotel only after 3 days from seven we booked the appartment and we lost the rest of the money. Normally with a hotel to be payed at the check out we would payed only for the days we have stayed effectivelly.

Very good

It was not too far to city center - we can go there by foot. The whole apartment was very clean - rooms, kitchen, bathroom.

In the close area there were only car dealers and other industry. For longer stay lack of grocery shop or restaurants close by may be significant, but for short stay it was not a problem. Just below the windows there is quite busy street, so although rooms were rather quite, the noise from road traffic and buses forces us to close windows in the living room.

Overall good

The apartment is clean, big and has all facilities. We even got a high chair our baby. There is a free parking of the hotel behind the building.

Location. It´s not in a cozy neighborhood (automotive industry). The bus can take you easily downtown, but we were with our 2 little kids and taking the bus + metro often took too long. The pull out couch is not super comfortable for sleeping.

The hotel is located right at the bank of the canal, wich gives perfect view from the hotel's balcony. The staff is super friendly and helpful . A lot ot public transport around. Supermarket in few minutes walk. Rooms are clean and well planned. Highly recommend!

Nice room but not central Hamburg

I really liked the room, the beds and the sofa bed. The staff was friendly and helpful. I really liked the roof terrace overlooking the canal.

When we arrived we saw a masisve building site right in front of the building and wrongly assumed we would not be able to sleep in the morning. But builders in Hamburg do not start early using the loudest equipment availabe as it is custom everywhere else. So in fact the building site was only slightly inconvienent because of moved bus stops but did not annoy as much as I thought. Pretty convinced they worked on the sewers as the smell was quite strong indeed. The area around the hotel consists mainly of car dealers. We stayed a couple of days and used the busses extensively, so that was ok. There is a 24 h petrol station close by but no restaurants or shops. Buses are quite frequent, even on Sunday.
