The old house is in the heart of the old town. It has it is own atmosphere.

Unfortunately there are a lot of ants in the house: in the kitchen, table, on the walls. They have a lot of paths in the house and moving all time. Even in the perimeter of the front door. So, you will see them in the entrance and in the kitchen. Especially, in the evening time. Also during our stay for 5 days we see two big cockroaches in two different bedrooms. And, as it is the old house it has its own smell, especially in the kitchen area. So, if you are ready for all theese- it will be good stay. If not - it will be disappointing

Exceptional

Mrs Anthoula could not have been nicer or more helpful. Breakfast and fruit were supplied, air conditioning was wonderful and she even left ice cream in the freezer for us when we were out on a particularly hot day. She picked us up at the ferry and kept our bags on our last day. The location was fabulous and the house was spotlessly clean. Could not recommend this place more highly. Would not think of booking anywhere else if returning to Rhodes.

Nothing to say here. The house and host were wonderful.

highly recommended for authentic old town stay

The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating throughout our stay! We had a number of special requests (it was a family holiday and we arrived from 3 different countries, so for example we had to check in and out at different times). Ms Anthoula picked us up in her car and took us to the apartment, as taxis cannot enter the old town. We arrived to a fridge fully stocked with water and fruit, and things for breakfast. The apartment was much better than what we expected from the pictures, and it was in a very quiet medieval street. It is a really authentic stay for anyone who wants to enjoy the old time vibes (the house itself was built in the 1600s!). A little warning: Rhodes old town is full of streets that are paved in pebbles, so you cannot pull a heavy suitcase or walk in thin soled/high heeled shoes on them easily. (We knew about this before we booked). The apartment was very well equipped with everything we needed and more. It can comfortably accommodate 8 people (in 4 rooms with double beds), so we highly recommend it for families or groups of friends. We all found our beds especially comfortable. We would definitely book this stay again! Rhodes City has a lot to offer - we visited some museums, walked around a lot and booked a day trip by boat, all of which we enjoyed greatly. The old town has mostly traditional / touristy restaurants, with the menus more or less the same everywhere. There is an area with high-street shops, cafes and restaurants at the Northern part of the city (outside the city walls) that has more cosmopolitan menus. A lot of the beaches in Rhodes City are pebbly and windy and not within walking distance from the center, but there are some fantastic sandy beaches in quiet bays around the island, easily available via public transportation, on day trips (by boat) or driving. In the city, there is a beach on the Northern part with the Eastern side less windy.

This apartment is the perfect place to stay in Old Town Rhodes.

I booked this apartment because I wanted to be inside the old town of Rhodes and experience being in the old city. Prior to arrival, the owner was very responsive to my emails and questions. She provided a good description which I used to give to the taxi driver upon arrival at the airport. We were met at the city gates and we continued in the taxi to a parking lot a few minutes walk to the apartment. The apartment was on a tiny backroad on the eastern end of town and a 5 minute walk to the touristy part of town. It was exactly what we were looking for - immersion in the old city. The building was non descript from the outside, but the apartment had all the modern amenities we could use. There were 4 bedrooms and each had its own AC and power outlets. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were not large, but they are more than adequate. You are in the old city, after all. The kitchen was stocked with basic cooking supplies and cutlery and dishes. There is a fridge and freezer as well. We stayed for 4 nights and cooked most of our dinners. We used the laundry machine and dried our clothes with the provided drying rack. Everything was very clean. The one shower was enclosed with a glass door so we didn’t soak the bathroom like we seem to do in older European showers! There were some toiletries provided, but we used our own. The owner was very nice and checked in from time to time to make sure everything went well. We loved the ambiance of the location. The kids also loved having their own rooms! My family loved this apartment. I am happy to recommend it to anyone.

We had a fantastic time and we can't wait to go back!

The perfect place to visit Rhodes Old Town! The owners were the most welcoming, generous, friendliest and helpful of people. We were given an amazing welcome even though it was late at night with home made local food, water, bread, cheese, butter etc made and bought for us to make sure we could all eat upon arrival. We felt like we were part of the family! The lady even brought us a huge tray of delicious moussaka later in our stay. Nothing was ever a problem with the owners always on hand to answer any questions as well as sorting out our transport to and from the airport with the nicest taxi driver we have ever met! The house is the perfect place to explore the Old Town with 4 large bedrooms, all the amenities you need and a small outside yard with table and chairs to enjoy the sun. It is just a few minutes walk to the bars, restaurants and squares or anywhere in the city you might want to see. My family and I had a fantastic week staying here and we can't wait to go back!

Exceptional

We have been in this house for one week at the end of July. The house: pictures are realistic. It is fully equipped and with wifi. There are four rooms with twin beds, hence 8 people sleeps. The house is spectacular. It is new and the kitchen is fully equipped, all air conditioned and with washing machine and a very nice outside area for bkfast/dining. It is literally 1 min walk from the main bar/shopping area inside the old town but it is very quiet. Parking is available very close in public street. The host/owners: I travel extensively for leisure and work but I have never found such hosts, their kindness and courtesy are incomparable. Maria and all the others make us feel like at home. They kept on asking if everything was ok during the whole week. We asked for a late check out and they agreed with no charge. The lady prepared for us a wonderful Moussaka (we ate four but we could not finish it) and left it in the oven: how sweet! They also gave us the remote control to pass the gate inside the old town so to park close to the house. Before arriving they gave us all directions and replied promptly to all our questions. Really they are all fantastic. Indeed this is the place to go in Rhodes either if you are a family, a couple or a group of friends. Marvelous!
