Aqua Seamist 1 bedroom apartment would be good place to stay in summer in Port Fairy

Easy drive into centre of Port Fairy. Access to Port Fairy Bay Beach. Quiet location. I had problems with one of the door locks. Estate Agent (Hearns staff member) arrived promptly and fixed it for me Walk in shower has good water pressure and hot water

During the day the apartment is very cold unless you put the heating on. The patio does not get any sun after 11AM, but this is winter. In summer it would almost be a perfect apartment to stay in. All booking sites state there is air conditioning in this apartment. There is NONE in this 1 BR apartment. No electric blanket Noirot Heater in small bedroom did not work Cold air comes in around front door. Damp cleaning cloth was left in the utensils drawer and smelt of spray and wipe. Had to wash all the utensils before using. Ensuite toilet had not been cleaned There was a planned scheduled power outage on the 2nd day of my stay. I was not told about it. I found out by ringing the Estate Agent ; Hearns staff advised it was a planned outage effective from 9AM til 1PM. Power outage also meant no hot water for morning shower. Wifi was a bit hit and miss after the power outage. Door locks are challenging.

beautiful location with lovely outlook

We were woken on first day by a concrete saw outside our widow. the next two days we had to listen to diggers working on the property. They should not have rented apartment knowing this noise was going to be taking place.

Great position right on the beach . About 2 km out of town so at night would need to drive into restaurant as not a well lit path

Car parking needs to be better . Not clearly marked as shared with other properties
