Perfectly close to the airportå

Situated on a calm street pretty close to the airport which is why I chose the place. Walking distance to a mall which have a small food store. Shuttle to the airport.

Was "closed" due to lunch when I arrived around noon so I had to wait about 20-30min before someone showed up. Nothing to complain about.

Perfect for an overnight stay after a late flight.

Very close to the airport. Staff were ready with our room right when we arrived. Came with breakfast. Comfortable room.

Parking wasn’t secure but it seemed fine.

A short stopover!

Breakfast was nice (but incredibly small). It was clean & comfortable enough as an airport stopover. The transfer was easy. Communication was good. Hot water in the showers! Staff were nice

No drinking water provided, the door to the balcony wouldn’t lock, once locked it did not unlock again. Very small breakfast.

Ok place for 1 night stay for late/ealy flight

The staff is super friendly! It’s close to the airport, and they provide a shuttle. Since the breakfast only starts from 7am, they provided a bag to-go in case of early flight or if you need to leave before 7am.

It’s time to renovate the facilities, specially the bathroom. 7am is late to start breakfast, specially because many people stay here since it’s close to the airport.. should be from 5am.

great place close to airport, very friendly and kind staff. rooms were perfect for a sleepover before flying in or arriving late to CR. even a big shopping mall around the corner

perhaps a small fridge in room would be handy

Dirty and worn.

The place is very conveniently located just minutes from the airport in a very ugly urban town. The staff were nice and the airport shuttle is free. However, this hotel has seen better days. There were very serious issues with cleaning. The bathroom had mold between the tiles, the faucets were dirty and the toilet disgusting. The sheets were so old that they were worn. The sheets didn’t cover the mattress correctly, so you ended up sleeping directly on the mattress.

Location to airport and free shuttle at 4? Am was terrific. Since we had to leave at 4:00 a.m. they packed us a bag breakfast to take to the airport. Very considerate staff! And price on $60 USD was very welcome.

BEatifull enviroment place, with gentil and carefull staff, near to the shopping and airport. Good quality-price. Breakfast could be more varied

The inability to take advantage of the transfer, either to the airport or to San Juan, as indicated on the booking site, as it is not available. The cleanliness of the bathroom and the lack of a soap holder in the shower. Details that can be improved but that do not spoil the pleasant stay

Great spot near the airport!

Close to airport, shuttle service, staff stayed up late to greet us, everyone was helpful and friendly.

For the price it was fine. Fans worked in bathroom just a little loud in morning but we were only there bc our plane came in later in evening and needed a place to sleep before heading out.

Allowed late check-in.

No A/C. No screens on windows. Got eaten alive by mosquitoes. Beds are hard as a rock. Extremely noisy neighborhood. Sounds like they are testing jet engines.

If you are traveling on a shoestring budget, this will do. But if you can’t afford it, spend a little more and get a goo

Cheap, close to the airport, convenient shuttle.

Room was so small I could hardly move. Bed was uncomfortable. Thin, hard mattress that sloped. One flat pillow. Airplane noise, but that’s to be expected.

Could use updating and a paint job in rooms. really scruffy. but for the price and location it was great. Short walk to mall with tons of fast food options.

Good

This hotel was located close to the airport so getting there was very simple using an Uber. Staff were nice and very helpful.

Door to the room seemed very flimsy. A good kick and you’d have your foot through the door.

Nice, safe spot with kind staff, close to the City Mall where you can find everythig.

Nice little spot with a free shuttle to the airport. When I arrived, I went to use my credit card and it wasn't working. Turns out it was frozen due to a fraud attempt! I was able to go to the nearby City Mall to get a phone call and call the bank. It was eventually sorted. The Melrost staff were helpful and patient. They also allowed me to store my luggage there at the end of my trip despite not renting a room. Very king especially after a bit of a challenging trip.

I wish they had a land line where I could've called my bank from, but I doubt many Costa Rican hotels do!

The location is perfect! Tucked away from the main roads in its own urban oasis but close to the airport and good breakfast to send you away after a comfortable night.
