Bahia Apartment - Recommended

The location of the apartment was excellent, literally a stone throw from the beach, and the views were excellent. Quiet and peaceful but good restaurants and other eateries within walking distances, and you can walk further towards the main centre down the sea front or transport is easy to use.

I liked everything, but the apartment is basic but has everything needed and worth the money.

An enjoyable stay in a good location at value-for-money prices.

The Bahia has apartments on three floors. The lower floor is above street level, accessed by steps from the street. There is a lift serving the middle and top floors. All of the apartments have balconies facing Poniente Beach, accessed from the apartments via sliding, double-glazed doors. The lower and upper floor apartments have wind-down sunshades that cover the whole of the balcony. The middle floor balconies are shaded by the upper floor overhang, so all of the balconies are shaded from the sun and all are equipped with outdoor tables and comfortable chairs. Bed sheets and towels are changed regularly, and the general standard of cleanliness is very good. My studio apartment was surprisingly spacious. The bed-sitting area and bathroom are larger than you might expect,. There is a generous supply of storage spaces, cupboards, drawer units, and wardrobe, plus an indoor table and chairs.

The kitchen is very small and there are not enough power points, so that you have to keep unplugging one appliance in order to use another. The studio kitchens have a microwave oven, toaster, fridge with freezer compartment, and a two-burner gas hob, but there is no oven or grill and very little worktop space. There are no laundry facilities. The cutlery, cookware, and tableware provided could best be described as basic.

Good location and view but some bad parts

Nice view of beach, big balcony, appartment small but head almost all basics.

Fridge was dirty, leaking water and turned off. Stove had security on but no instructions on how to use. Bed could be better. Adding some protection against bugs would really improve the place.

Lovely spot in La Cala Benidorm, close to the beach. Great sea views from the balcony and some lovely bars and restaurants nearby.

Quiet and safe area with beach easy access.

Mikela on reception was excellent and sorted out any problems very quickly. She explained everything and was extremely pleasant. A great asset to the new management which we didn’t know about until arrival. She was efficient in sorting out any problems and remembered our names. The bar areas were exceptionally clean and very friendly staff.

There was no daily cleaning as advertised but was explained upon arrival new management and towels changed every third day and cleaning once. Bins were not emptied from apartment at all however this will change once renovations take place.

Excellent holiday,very relaxing.

Location excellent.50 mtrs from beach.Very tidy gardens and grounds.View from room exceptional.Good aircon,comfy bed,great shower.Lovely staff from Maika in reception to Pedro in bar.Drinks and food very good.Nice evening ambiance.Good choice of restaurants close by.Bus stop across road.1.55 euros flat fare all over Benidorm.Our second stay here,will be back again.

Room furniture could do with upgrading.a few pictures would help.Kitchenette a bit tired looking.The odd bulb out,just a little TLC required.Dont like shower curtains,. would prefer a screen.

Bit of a last minute trip and Apartamentos Bahia was good value. Have booked to go back already. 😎😎

The property is right on the beach at La Cala Benidorm. Great view of the sea/beach from every room. Reasonably priced Cafe Bar on the ground floor. Small supermarket just up the road with a friendly shopkeeper. Also not far away is the Mercadona.

Nothing not to like really. I wouldn’t go there expecting all mod cons in the bathroom/kitchen though. It is functional.

Very enjoyable but more important…relaxing!!

Every thing went very well and smooth…the room very clean, plenty of car park around, restaurants and bars easy access…and of course, the beach just 60 meters away…with private sun loungers if you want to avoid the sand on you!!
