Great for first time solo travelers!

This was my first hostel experience. I must say, I was impressed. The architectural design was superb, nice airy open spaces. I appreciated the pool, bar/diner area, and the access to Jaco Beach. There was so much to do in the area, including horse back riding during sunsets. I also enjoyed how clean the rooms were.

It’s not really about the property but more so social vibes. Larger groups tend to engage less/be cliquey, try to connect with folks who are from a smaller group if you’re traveling in your own.

Clean and comfortable, perfect location

Perfect location, very clean (saw a lot of cleaners!), nice pool and comfy bed. Also AC in rooms was a plus!

Private rooms are pretty small for the price but probably relative for the area. Bar was also expensive for a hostel! Kitchen was ok but very small and hot

Good surf hostel

They have parking space & a spot for my surf board. The location is superb also. I went to a yoga class, enjoy it 100%

I did not find any recycling bins.

Nice but load

The Hostel is very modern and right at the beach. They offer nice facilities like working room and terrace where you can do yoga..

Be aware that this is a party hostal where they play music at the pool until late and you hear the music very loudly in the room - Oropax are of little benefit. If find it a bit overpriced.

Book it, great hostel!

Nice pool to refresh, hostel very clean, surfer's spot, next to the beach, close to the city, easily accessible from the bus, the hostel is spacious, all good!

All good; however, somebody might not like the loud music played every evening

loved room2board and would come back!!

this is the cleanest hostel I have stayed at yet!! it was a lovely stay, the beds were so comfy. the lockers are huge. very chill vibe. my friend checked into Selina after a few days and regretted it. second Selina now that she said was really bad so I’d choose this over Selina

the shared bathrooms for every room and no hot water. the ac is above someone’s bed so they kept turning it off in the middle of the night and then everyone in the room suffers

Best hostel in Jaco!

Beautiful location with direct access to beach. The staff members were extremely helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for the perfect escape and surfing enthusiast alike!

Nice place by the beach

nice pool , location is good , the 4 beds dorm room is big and clean.

the kitchen and bar were closed most of the time despite the marked hours and without notice. some employees were helpful and friendly some others seemed very unaware of the place or city and were more here to have fun then work.

I got a private room , the AC was a bonus i had not expected. the bathroom and room was clean and they even provided tiny soaps. The staff was very helpful and made my stay very comfortable.

Great American style beach town.

Nice facility near the beach and an easy walk to a good local Soda. Also the shared kitchen was ok but The refrigerators had rotten food in them.

It was well located

Bathrooms and the place in general seemed quite dirty. it needs some serious TLC. Some of the staff we more interested on speaking with colleagues than helping you out. The rooms were not very comfortable. Also it is a party hostel. Prices at the bar are ridiculously high.

I really enjoyed the hostel and the surf lessons

the vibe was real good. I appreciated the managers efforts to keep this hostel running smoothly.

the room door to the 10 bed dorm next to the kitchen is broken and makes loud noises as different people fight to open and close it.
