We will be coming back and be bringing a group of 11 more guests.

Clean, affordable, lovely staff, breakfast included and close to downtown activities.

Was worried about the night time noise, but it wasn’t too bad.

Great location but kindly train your staff to be more professional

Location

It’s not the first time that every time I check out the receptionist gives me problems. Last year I had paid for breakfast but I am not a breakfast person so it was meant for my brother who had travelled overnight to meet me there in the morning. They said he couldn’t have it. In January this year, my driver helped take luggage to me room and we discussed my itinerary for the following days, there was none anyway to help with my luggage. On check out they tried to charge me for having someone extra in my room for the night. I missed breakfast, no phone call to check.

The bathroom- a glass cubicle would be very helpful in managing water on the floor after one showers.

Good value for money, better than many higher priced.

Fantastic location, right in the centre of town, near to everything and there's a good supermarket just opposite . Staff were really friendly and helpful. Good air con (Kisumu is hot!) and wifi. Really good value for money.

Breakfast wasn't the most interesting or much of a choice but was ok.

Noise from an all-night night club nearby Lack of guest information privacy at check-in; multiple guest were attended to simultaneously and at times personal information would be accessible by others. This is probably a cultural thing where there is less recognition of personal space than other parts of the world. I suggest that you serve one customer at a time or get a bigger front desk with multiple attendants to serve more than one person at a time.

We feeled very comfortable at this hotel and the staff served us in a very friendly manner

The design of the building and the sryle of the interior. The breakfast was good, the restaurant has a limìted offer ror food but quality and value for money are okay

The Hotel is beautiful and great staff, but unfortunately there is a club near by that can be a-nuisance at night, this is outside their control, I had to cut my stay short because I could not sleep with the club music going all night. I however loved the way they handled my case, they are lovely people.

No hot water in the morning to shower. Very disappointed! Also, don't stay in the rooms at the back of the hotel due to the noise from a bar / night club which plays loud music until the wee hours and this was on a Monday night.

I would stay there again and will definitely recommend to friends.

On arrival the staff were very welcoming. Check in was very efficient and Elva answered all our questions. The room was clean and well appointed. The location of the hotel was excellent for the venue we need to attend.

Exceptional

Great stay, facilities are prestine. The location is very convenient and the staff is excellent!

There was a club next door, so there was some sound coming late in the evening, but overall it did not bother me.

Staying here messed up my vacation

Price gauging. They charged me an additional Kenya Shillings 21,000 (about $210) for the 7day stay even though l had paid for my room in full and got a guaranteed confirmation number from Booking.com. The hotel increased the rate because there was a big AFRICITIES conference in the city and so they wanted to make a killing like other hotels. My beef is that l had in fact PAID IN FULL before l arrived. Unethical! They should have honored my rate that l had paid

It’s noise bc of the pub behind it. For the heat in kisumu sometimes the room is not Stocked with water or if so just one, for the amount it cost, water should be basic it and more than 1. The shower is not hot, I know it’s kisumu but why shower with cold water that should be a decision. I also didn’t have tissue paper at some point meaning someone is sleeping on the job. Location is good since it’s down town.

Very pleasant stay.

Breakfast was adequate with a good range of choices. It is well located in teh CBD and one can access most Governement and commercial services from the hotel. It is less than 10 minutes drive from the airport.

The hotel has limited parking outside of office hours and during working hours one has to pay for the parking. The basic room amenities do not include basics like a kettle and beverages which should be a must as a minimum.

My check in was horrible because I had booked for room for me and my spouse and they insisted that I’m lying and that I booked only room for 1 person. They kept me waiting in the lobby for over 45 mins after almost over 14 hours flight from the US. I will not go there or recommend anyone to go there. Very horrible customer service. Beware
