Fabulous experience. Beautiful traditional rustic decor. Huge beds. Crisp linen.

Breakfast lovely traditional food, quick friendly service.

A bit noisy in the morning but to be expected as it is bang in the centre.

Not the place if gluten intolerant

Location next to the quadrado. 15 minutes walk to the beach. Bed comfortable. Nice pool.

Almost no options at breakfast for someone with gluten intolerance even if informed before in message with booking.com and told waitress every morning (receptionist asked me at checkout why I didn’t informed them - I did before and every day of our stay). So my breakfast was eggs and tapioca. Nothing else. Other hotels and Pousada are offering cakes and bread without gluten. Only two types of fruits every morning. One was papaya every day. Only one juice (not even fresh made). Breakfast for sure biggest disappointment. Second day we killed a cockroach on the bathroom mirror and informed reception to inform housekeeping to clean mirror, but never happened.

Just lovely. I strongly recommend

This Pousada was a great discovery. The apartments are excellent. The furniture and decoration are lovely. The breakfast is excellent, there's a very nice pool and jacuzzi. The location is very convenient close to the centre of Trancoso.

Pousada Calypso was a delight, such a prime location near the main square, stunning big bedrooms with soft white sheets

It was such a pleasant surprise, and great value for money. Spacious bedroom, large bed with quirky details spotted around the room like a yellow fridge & wooden carvings.

Nothing! That we didn’t stay longer!

Magic place in Trancoso

The place is magic, totally immersed into the nature. Once we got there we had the opportunity to see a sloth. The bungalow was amazing!

Great Location. Good Price considering other hotels and nice comfortable room.

Best Centric Pousada in Trancoso

The location is amazing, the square is just at 2 minutes walking. Hospitality and personnel was great, and everything was sparkling clean.

Maybe the parking could be better, but it's kinda hard since there's not too much space to improve it. The rest is simply top notch quality.

Its a great place to relax after spending the day at the beach, waking up listening to birds.

the staff is the best. Really kind and nice people, from the reception to the kitchen staff, everyone was polite and friendly in all interactions. Breakfast is a true highlight. A lot of pastry done locally, fresh natural juice every morning, fruits and fresh yogurt available too - trust me, as a Brazilian, I can tell you is really good.

On party nights at the Quadrado, you might hear some noise through the night on the streets, but this is probably the case for all places in this region.

Very good

Very comfortable big bed. Spacious duplex, digital cable tv. Big bathroom, great style of breakfast (not buffet but lots of good quality food) jacuzzi was very relaxing.

Bathroom needs painting. Very dilapidate. Show was weak.

Excellent stay perfect location super nice staff couldn’t ask for more

Everything, the breakfast is stunning everything and more you could want, one of the nicest staff members called Mirian so helpful for advice and lovely to chat to. Jacuzzi was lush with stunning rainforest surroundings. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable and nice view while swinging in your very own hammock.

Fridge was leaking on the floor but we went to reception and they sorted it out straight away.
