Desagradable Experiencia

La cordialidad de la persona en administración

Que en el anuncio no indicaba que la habitación era sin baño, muy aparte que cuando decidí cambiar por una supuesta mejor y que costaba el doble, tenía dos camas con dos colchones super delgados que al echarte se sentía toda la madera.

¡La ubicación es definitivamente lo mejor del hostal! El desayuno es bueno y los trabajadores también son muy simpáticos, me guardaron la mochila antes del check-in y después del check-out hasta que abandoné la estancia.

Los baños y las habitaciones no estaban muy limpias, y algunos muebles (armarios para dejar las mochilas) se encontraban en muy mal estado (mi armario se cerraba con cerrojo pero por detrás estaba roto y se podía sacar la mochila con facilidad)

L'hostel est plutôt bien placé et il y a une salle pour regarder la TV, jouer au billard...

Nous étions dans une chambre extrêmement bruyante donc avons vraiment eu du mal à dormir. Le petit déjeuner n'est vraiment pas bon et trop sommaire.

No lamps near beds or curtains to separate you from room so when people were checking in through the night in the early hours, the staff turned the full beam lights on waking me up. Not a good sleep!

Good for a Short Stay

Friendly staff and spacious room. I chose this location because it is a main pickup point for PeruHop.

The location is a 10-15 min walk to the plaza de armas and some of the main tourist attractions, not terrible but not as convenient if you want to be more central. It is a very basic breakfast that they offer, coffee and a piece of bread with butter/jelly, If you want a more filling breakfast you will have to go elsewhere. Luckily there is a nice café across the street.

Super duper

Great! I stayed in a dorm and private room. Both were comfortable and clean. The staff were super helpful and friendly. I was unwell from a bad stomach so stayed longer but it was easy to extend and the staff helped me. Thanks

Superb

It is a beautiful hostel. The bed was comfy. Not so many people. A lot of public space. The receptionist Diego was super nice.

There was no wifi signal in my room (upstairs) but I didn't mind so much cos from my room I could see the volcano and there was a lot of sunlight!

Very reasonable room for the price. Located in slightly more quiet part of town but easy access to centre. Staff very helpful on desk.

The location is good, not far from the main sqaure, nice staff (gracias Diego), comfy beds and nice breakfast.

On the weekends it gets SUPER loud if you're staying in the room facing the street! Also, not all upper beds are next to a wall so you're sleeping with no side to lean on. Staff needs to pay more attention to toilet papers filling!

We were rudely woken up by staff member at 3 am who banged at our door, said something in Spanish, turned lights on and walked away, we woke up shocked and confused to what was going on. Turns out our tour company came on the wrong day to pick us up. even if we had slept in for our tour, it was not a very pleasant wake up call.

Not the best option

We booked the double room with private bathroom. There was a 24hour reception. The room was big and there was a lot of space. It was very close to the city center. Friendly staff.

We were cold during our stay. The breakfast only had two options. Our room and bathroom could have been cleaner. They didn't clean our room and we stayed 4 days there. We paid a whole day even though we arrived at 5 in the morning. For what is was we would expect a cheaper price.

In the heart of Arequipa

The place was well located in the center, clean, all the necessary available and they organize also tours from the reception. The people at the reception where really amazing, super patient and always super helpful. They where there 24/7 and I am so sorry that I’m more than one occasion we disturbed them so early between tours and airport early leave. Thank you so much for making our stay perfect!

We had many bookings, before colca tour 3 people in a double and a dorm, then 1 dorm, then a triple room….my booking style was maybe too creative :D They where there 24/7 and I am so sorry that I’m more than one occasion we disturbed them so early between tours and airport early leave. Thank you so much for making our stay perfect!

I forgot my Apply watch and they sent it for me to Lima and it was there within a few days. I am so thankful they found it, were honest about it and took the effort to send it over. I highly appreciate this service

Good value for money

Location was perfect. Old colonial building. Staff were great. Dog was friendly. Lots of hot water.

Wifi was awful. Struggled to get a signal anywhere. Rooms very basic. Breakfast ok but get in quick before it runs out.

Beautiful hostel in a lovely location with great staff!

Huge bedroom with gorgeous original architecture. Hot water was reliable and the staff were consistently helpful and friendly. Really nice grounds and a pool table!

Weak wifi and probably wouldn’t bother with the breakfast again. Although no need for great wifi when you’re in a city as beautiful as Arequipa!

Great stay

Good location, comfortable rooms, great shared kitchen facilities, awesome sunset on the rooftop, super helpful and friendly staff.

Wi-Fi was a bit slow at times, tours slightly more expensive than companies around the plaza.
