Troldhaugen magically unites travellers from all over the world.

Claire and Dave are sublime hosts and made us feel like part of their family. We loved the arty décor, the amazing views, the exquisite breakfasts and the friendly conversations. The opportunity to share the breakfast table and the communal lounges with interesting and often international guests created a warm vibe. It's a true European chalet in the heart of Jindy.

Very comfortable stay in a spotless and elegantly decorated hotel.

Glorious view of Lake Jindabyne from the sunny and comfortable sitting room. Really delicious breakfasts and great coffee! The fruit loaf provided for afternoon tea was amazing.

There was nothing we didn’t like about this property.

A memorable stay in a beautiful town

Breakfast offered a lot of choice and the barista coffee was particularly good. Great selection of muesli including fresh berries and yoghurt

Our stay at the lodge was exceptional - we couldn’t recommend it enough and can’t wait to come back!

We loved our stay here! The room was warm, clean and comfortable. The living area with the fireplace and panoramic views was beautiful - complimentary drinks a nice touch. The breakfast was fantastic and Claire and David were lovely people and extremely helpful throughout our stay. Couldn’t recommend enough, can’t wait to come back!

Amazing ski stay!

Troldhaugen is like a second home away from home; it’s warm, cozy and clean. It works as a perfect getaway for a couple whom doesn’t mind the occasional company of other guests in the shared lounge area or for a ski trip. Claire and David are the loveliest people you will meet, Claire looks after your needs; always offering a helping hand with anything at any time. David is a great guy; always offering an extra cup of coffee at breakfast and has all the great advice when it comes to skiing! Breakfast was simple; toast/eggs and coffee was brilliant. Room were clean and the hot water was ample! I’m amazed that they have been operational for more than 8 years and I just found their lovely spot now. Can’t wait to be back! Thank you for an amazing time Claire and David!

Excellent stay, we will be back

We were served a nice breakfast every morning. The room had a beautiful room to the lake. The room was big and comfortable, nice bedsheets It's about 15-20 mins walk to the lake or city centre.

There is no aircon, and the bathroom was a little too small

Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay, the room was a good size with everything you need. Breakfast was provided each morning, fresh coffee made to order. Both hosts were extremely helpful in whatever we needed, even providing some great suggestions on walks in the national park outside of the main summit walk.

Exceptional

Just about everything. Jindy in summer is very quiet and calm. The accommodation is so comfy...everyday we went for walks in national park and spend the afternoon relaxing in the lounge area. Highly recommend!

Exceptional

Claire and David were exceptional hosts. From the moment we stepped into the lodge to our departure, they were kind, friendly and attentive which made our stay very memorable. The location couldn't have been better. Only 3 minutes drive or 10-15 minute walk to the shops, we were able to get to dinner and return quickly, which was quite desirable after a long day on the slopes. Cherry on top was their drying room which we made great use of (only boots, board and skis allowed, but everything else could be dried on the heater within our room). We will be returning the next time we visit!

Claire and David are so welcoming, the lodge is beautiful clean and comfortable. the drying room and heaters in the room are great for drying your clothes/boards overnight. the breakfast is absolutely fantastic! highly recommend

Claire and David are very friendly and welcoming! The house has beautiful furnishings and a warm atmosphere. The breakfast is also very delicious, you can choose what you like.

Super friendly, always looking to help and would highly recommend a stay

There was not a single request before we arrived, or throughout our stay, that was not met with a positive response. We wanted to get out early each morning and this was met with the response of "how can we help". They even told us to make sure we popped in for a coffee and something to eat for the car trip to the snow. We spent some time playing pool at the table downstairs - fun and relaxing. We had special arrival requirements which went off without an issue and the instructions were first class.
