A good location and friendly hosts

This property is managed by a company that is quick to respond to questions and was really flexible with times to meet up since we were coming from Montenegro and didn't know the exact time of our arrival. They allowed us to drop off our bags before check in so that we could be free to explore around without the hassle of bags which was so appreciated. There is a man/family that lives in the apartment complex that was so helpful, friendly and kind. He gave us recommendations as to where to eat, helped us get reservations for dinner and a ride to the airport. He told us to just knock on the door if we needed anything. (Thanks Piter!!) He really makes you feel like welcome guests at the apartment. The apartment was comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable in the main room. The pull out couch is a little hard but the kids slept there and it didn't bother them. The shower was nice and hot. It is eqipped with all the amenities you might need. This is a good location as it is within walking distance to some good restaurants, a very nice beach, and the Old Town. It was on a quieter street. Overall, this was a good place to stay for the price.

Terrible experience in a 34 degrees weather with no AC!!!

Nothing.

To summarise: after one night, for the first time in my life, we just left the keys on the door and left. We lost money, yes, but there was no way to continue on this hot weather in an apartment WRONGLY advertised as having AC. More details of this terrible experience below: - No clear information: To start with, before our arrival, I directly asked the owner about the access to the apartment, which he didn't reply. When we arrived, late in the evening, we had no idea where to go as there are many apartments and we had no specific information - Access to apartment: He arrived and took us to the apartment, which we had to go down a garage ramp and long staircase (this would be fine if I had not asked him prior to our arrival because if we knew there were stairs, we would not go there with 2 kids, luggages, stroller etc). Besides that, the location is very difficult to arrive by foot, on the top of a hill and the street has almost no sidewalk. - Comfort: We booked this apartment because there were two bedrooms with AC stated in the property listing, the reality is that the bedroom (with the real bed) has no AC and the "guest bedroom" (with a sofa bed) has the AC. Once we arrived, the owner turned the AC on and said "if it turns off, you just turn on again and select the configuration again". That sounded very odd, but I said "sure". The reality is that this AC is broken. It turns off every five minutes and it just sends you a warm puff of air through the room. We could also not open the windows because the window/door leads to the terrace with people can access easily. Travelling with two small kids, I didn't sleep the whole night turning that AC on every time it turned off as it was 28 degrees outside and inside, probably warmer. My kids got a rash from the heat, even sleeping in diapers. I tried contacting the owner right away when we noticed, but he simply ignored any messages. Also, I am pretty sure I got bedbugs bites.

The apartment had everything we needed. Great facilities, a comfortable bed, and a beautiful view of the Croatian houses on the mountain.

The geyser wasn't working when we arrived, but we brought it to their attention, and it was fixed soon after!

Friendly and helpful host, very comfortable stay, great location and grocery store nearby

The host was extremely nice and helped us out with information about Dubrovnik. Location was great aswell (about 10/15 min stroll to old town), no steps! Apartment was lovely, very comfortable bed, clean and everything you would need to cook. Couldn’t recommend this place more

Great size for the room and there's small kitchen and some seasonings we could make some simple food, bed is comfortable and easy to go everywhere

Owner couldn't receive any of our messages through booking.com or phone call, which is a bit issue for us to check-in, also the owner didn't leave check-in information for the guests. The check out time is 10am but that morning at 8am we were woke up by the next customers keep knocking on door for asking us to check themselves in, due to they don't speak English so we couldn't communicate with them but woke up like this wasn't pleasant for us.

clean,comfortable ,easy bus connections & value money but the accomation is quite exposed to the road.

our room was right the road & the front door opens to the footpath.People knocking on the door was bit concerning.However owner was promptly answered when contacted via booking .com There was no means of contacting the owner immediately in case of emergency other than through booking .com TV is too small for the room. Hot water boiler did not work on the day we arrived but the owner was quite prompt in getting it getting it fixed. ASAP.

Lovely stay with a beautiful view

Amazing hosts, very attentive, warm and friendly. Gave good recommendations and they were a pleasure to talk too. The apartment has an incredible view, so we were able to enjoy our meals on the terrace which was a real bonus. Bed was very comfortable and lovely powerful shower! Walk to the old town was probably around 20 mins so good location to explore. Got to meet the beautiful Rocky too 🤗 Would definitely stay again!

Perfect for discovering Dubrovnik - wouldn't recommend for longer stays with self-catering

The location is great to discover the city of Dubrovnik. The apartment is a short walk to the old town, around 15 to 20 minutes. There is a small supermarket right outside of the apartment. As a female solo traveller, I felt safe in the neighborhood and enjoyed the small terrace outside of the studio.

The kitchen disappointed me: The water kettle wasn't working and the stove took forever to heat up so boiling water on the stove to cook coffee or tea wasn't really an option either. The apartment is perfect if you're using it to explore the city, not for longer stays where you are planning on doing a lot of self-catering.

We really liked the appartment. Looks much better than on pictures. Had everything you need; kitchenware, soap, shampoo, toillet paper, oil, salt, sugar etc for cooking, big refridgerator, nice aircondition. Two toillets; one with shower, second separated. Nice terrace with view to Srđ cable car. Free parking on the street in front of the appartment (you have to find place. We had free space all three days we spent there). To old city you can come walking (15-20min with beautiful view), by bus (near bus station, ticket around 1.3€), by Uber (about 3€). Sea is few minutes walking. Small market is next to the appartment. Host is nice man. All together really nice stay in Dubrovnik.

Everything was great!

The apartment is in a very good location - just 15 minutes from the old town. It has a large terrasse and has everything you'll need. The host is fantastic - very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Solid close to the city accommodation

Super friendly owner, a bottle of wine, water and juice upon arrival, 15mins walk from Old Town, 10min (steep) walk to Bellevue beach.

The apartment has a direct-from-street entrance which can be noisy when people and cars are passing by. Also, although the AC is new and strong, when it is off its gets hot immediately because of no isolation on the building.
