Prettige mooie locatie net buiten de muren van Lucca.

Mooie locatie vlak buiten de muren van Lucca. Vriendelijke eigenaren met aandacht voor detail. Mooi plekje om tot rust te komen en van daar uit de omgeving te verkennen. Mooi zwembad. Goed onderhouden locatie.

Le decoration de la chambre !!! La douche minuscule moins de 1m2 .Petit déjeuner moyen pas de fruit frais salade de fruit en boîte

The Staff and the Villa made for one of the best family holidays we have had.

- Staff: Georgia, Vicky and the team were fantastic - Location - walking distance to Pisa - Pool

- Rooms were dark (due to style) but worked well due the heat. Kept the rooms cool.

-very cool building -swimming pool -delicious breakfast

Lunch menu on the swimming pool: they sell frozen pasta heated by microwave for 12 euro. No grocery store or restaurant close by just to grab something to eat in you want to spend the day in the swimming pool, so we ended up eating frozen “pasta”, which is very uncommon in Italy and definitely too expensive

Peaceful place and friendly staff

We really enjoyed our stay there! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was tasty. We really liked the swimming pool and the garden. It would be nice to come back some day!

Breakfast was very basic, poor choice of food Plastic chairs and tables at breakfast Entrance door is very loud- wakes you up every time someone returns from town at night. Entrance door is not practical- people had trouble opening it.

everything from location, lovely and peaceful to stunning grounds. staff were the best and friendliest we have ever had anywhere.

A gem of a place so glad we found it

Beautiful gem of a place ran by friendly hard working staff but always willing to help ,the pool and surroundings are immaculate in a very secure key coded complex the character of the buildings and accommodation has been built in a modern way but in keeping with the traditional medieval style, excellent air-conditioning comfortable clean beds and an excellent breakfast we were even given a lift into lucca as the taxi situation was awkward

Superb

This is a very nice hotel outside of Lucca (1.2 km). The rooms had tastefully executed medieval themes and were well equipped. The staff was very helpful and welcoming - e.g. they changed our rooms changed to ground floor level to accommodate for walking disabilities. The breakfast was tasty and offered sufficient variety. For people considering going there , it would be good to inquire directly if the pool is open (unfortunately, we were a week too early)

Excellent!!

Most beautifully built building, replicating and built using all the old building skills of 17th century Italy.

We were slightly disappointed that the pool wasn’t open Sunday afternoon, but it was 2nd week in October and far to cold for the Italians but not us British!!! My husband wanted to go for swim after a wonderful bike ride around the town Lucca.

A relaxing stay in a rustic hotel with the most friendly staff.

A peaceful location yet only a short walk into Lucca for restaurants and shopping. Very nice pool and comfortable for lounging. Fantastic staff ! From check in and throughout our entire stay. The breakfast offers a wide variety of both hot and cold food and coffee, together with very attentive service from Giorgio and Pietro every time. When we were leaving our taxi became delayed ( Sunday ) and we were going to miss our train - a HUGE THANKYOU to Pietro who very kindly gave us a lift in his own car 🙏🏻😁 Will definitely be back.

Would recommend but make sure AC is working for peak summer months.

Great parking at location. Beautiful grounds with pool. The breakfast had a great selection and great service. Close location to Lucca.

The AC was not working so it was 28 degrees in the room. Tried to open window but there was no screen and big moth the size of a bat flew in ..we tried to get him to go out but managed for him to fly into the bathroom and we closed the door. Kept window closed but did not get much sleep as it was so hot..

Fantastic Bed and Breakfast - full of character.

Great location - walked into Lucca every night for dinner. The pool was a tranquil oasis. The staff we all friendly and very helpful. We hired bikes and rode down to the river for a swim too (12 min ride).
