Praktische Unterkunft zum Wandern

Die Unterkunft ist zentral gelegen und vom Bahnhof fußläufig erreichbar. Das Appartment selber ist ausreichend groß und war großteils sehr sauber. Die Ausstattung ist gut zur Selbstversorgung geeignet. Die Betten waren bequem, Bettwäsche muss extra gebucht werden. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist super.

Der Schlüssel ist im ca. 700m entfernten Hotel Ustedalen abzuholen, das war zu Fuß etwas umständlich. Manche Teller waren etwas dreckig. Das ist mir bei Unterkünften ohne Spülmaschine schon öfter vorgekommen und scheint schwierig zu vermeiden zu sein.

Moderne, fin leilighet med god standard

Leiligheten var større enn vi booket, og personalet i resepsjonen var hyggelig og hjelpsomt. Brukte ikke bassenget oppe på hotellet, men det så helt fint ut. Moderne og relativt nye leiligheter. Hvis man bor i underetasjen kan man kjøre ned på baksiden og lesse av bagasje inn balkongdøren den veien.

Hvis man kommer uten bil er det langt å gå for å hente og levere nøkkel- ca 500m oppoberbakke. Det er ikke heis i bygget, og det står ikke tydelig at det koster 100kr per sengesett m håndklær, og 50kr for basseng/treningsrominngang.

Really mad at the cancellation policy. If you book make sure there is no natural disaster as they will not cancel or rei

I did not get to the property because of flooding on the day I was driving there (I literally was not able to make it due to road closures and officials turning us away). Even though this is completely out of my control they did not agrees to cancel and reimburse me for the single night I booked.

I did not stay there due to flooding in Norway and not being able to get there. Even under these extreme and unusual circumstances they would not reimburse me for the single night booking. This is unacceptable.

A good stop over if you are travelling from Stockholm to Bergen.

Cosy place to stay in beautiful surroundings.

A warm and roomy apartment with a great view, not to far from town centre with shops, cafes and the railway station. Hiking trails and the fjord, as well as the Fekjo park and Geilojordet museum not too far away. Perfect for a little getaway.

Just something to note: there is no wifi in the apartment. This is not necessarily a problem, but if you're travelling for work or need to use wifi for other reasons, consider this. Also, not sure what the problem was, but on the second morning there was no hot water in the shower.

Cleaning fee 500 NOK although i was staying for 1 night only (same cleaning fee if you are staying for 1 month) I booked at geilo gaarden and when i reached the location there was no one there After looking around, a nearby hotel told me that the reception is in ostedalen hotel I went there and with no apology of not informing me that my booking was moved to another hotel they give me the key with Extra 500 NOK as a cleaning fee that was not mentioned also in my booking

Old stuff, greasy

Lady at the reception was friendly.

The accomodation was old, greasy, not well cleaned at all. Dishes were used and still greasy. Couch was greasy. Messy kitchen. Door to the outside could not stay open while taking your luggage in.

Everything was perfect for us. Grocery store was about 300m walk. And gas station too. Awesome apartments, clean and fully equipped.

The reception is difficult to find in case you missed the message from the property.

The location was great. Other than that, our experience at Geilo Gardens was AWFUL!

The location was good.

We woke up with headaches and stiff necks each morning due to the poor condition/quality of the pillows and mattresses. I can not accurately describe how awful the bed/pillow conditions were. The beds reported as full/queen were actually twin beds TAPED TOGETHER. If the tape became loose, the beds would move apart from one another. The broken shade in one of the bedrooms allowed sunlight into the room very early in the morning....cutting sleep by a couple of hours. The stipulations by the hotel regarding laundry (only wash and dry, not just wash) and the ABSURD COST of the laundry ($15.00 per load) is highway robbery. The dirty, stained sofas need to be professionally cleaned or replaced - they are gross.

Pleasant

Two bathrooms for a 4 room appartment. Nice kitchen and living room. There was a sauna which we didn't use.

2 of 4 rooms were with kids' beds. Not comfortable for adults. We could have moved the single person matresses but unfortunately the childrens' beds could not be stowed away. We did not get bath mats with our towels.

Excellent. I would easily recommend this place to others. My first choice for another stay in Geilo.

Very nice and big appartement. Good location. Good to park just outside the room. Nice to have opportunity to rent bedsheets and towels.

Early check out. There were few glasses, cups and plates for all the persons. There could have been some more equipment in the kitchen.
