Superb

The location beside the tracks surprised me BUT the hotel was a delightful surprise. The courtyard suggested another era. However, my room was perfect for me AND the dining room ( and buffet breakfast) was excellent. Would return in a minute...

Very relaxing stay in a beautiful property with first-class service. Thank you so much. We wish we could stay longer!

Charming hotel with so much character and really beautiful bedroom, with gorgeous antique furniture. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and check we had everything we needed.

Nice room in a good location

Huge comfortable room, good location right on the Danube.

The room was uncomfortably warm. I opened the window briefly and got eaten alive by mosquitoes.

Fairytale farm house

Beautiful converted farm house, with a very relaxing and romantic vibe. The staff is very friendly and the food in the restaurant was delicious.

The romantic suite had 2 single mattresses, one double mattress would have been nicer :)

Enjoyed perfect atmosphere of a historic town.

Good location. Very close to the air port, Less than 40 minutes. Just 20km to Bratislava. Not so far and walkable to the city center and a big shopping center. Close to the riverbank. Walking along Danube River is very impressive. Traditional but clean and well equipped room. Fine view through the window. Really enjoyed perfect atmosphere of the hotel.

No lift to the platform. Had a hard time to bring up my heavy suitcase.

Pleasant

Centrally located, just by the river and close to village center Very clean and comfortable (even though not very spacious) rooms

Staff attitude turns customers away: even though we were checked in (extremely low process!) we afterwards managed to get dinner in the restaurant and the waiter repeatedly reminded us they did us a favour by checking us in, as we came outside of the official check in hours, as if they expected a significant tip. Next day we wanted to check out and the lady in the reception kept us more than half an hour there, as she did not trust us that we had already paid. It took us lots of arguments and proofs to convince her we were right. Last, no one spoke any English and the communication was a real challenge, as our Slovak and German skills are rather limited.

A terrific place to stay for biking or exploring the area!!!

Just a GREAT Place. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room we were in was large with a nice sitting area, very clean and nicely appointed. The ambiance was very welcoming and comfortable. The location was great as it was just across the street from the bike path and the Danube. The hotel had tables across the street where they served dinner, right on the Danube - so delightful. They also had an open courtyard in the hotel where they served meals as well. The breakfast was terrific and they would cook eggs to your specifications. They also had parking in a gated area next to the hotel. There is an elevated railroad right across from the hotel, but we never noticed any train noise. We couldn't believe this was only rated a 3 star - definitely a 4 star plus hotel.
