Great location for tourist areas but probably wouldn’t book here again.

The host is always friendly and welcoming and the breakfast is superb!

This our second time staying at the property and unfortunately we found it incredibly underwhelming this time. It was only a year ago we stayed and we had a ground floor room that appeared to have been newly renovated and it was exceptionally clean and tidy, this time we were on the first floor in a ‘superior King’ room and there wasn’t much superior about it. The decor was neglected and there was also quite a strong smell of urine and we deciphered that it was in fact the carpet that smelled. It actually kept me awake. The property is old and full of character but unfortunately in some customer areas it really could do with a good tidying up with respect to decor and flooring.

Fits the purpose, I recommend it to everyone, read the reviews!

We only had breakfast, the quantity was satisfactory.We got room 4 on the ground floor, not with the view shown in the picture, it suited the purpose, the positive thing about it was that you could go outside to smoke!It doesn't have any guarded parking! If there is a space in front of the house, you can park there, but there is no parking lot, because someone stops in front of the entrance and you can't go inside, but 1-2 cars would fit.You can only park on the street or on the road.

Great value, friendly stay

This is a great value overnight stay in a popular town. I didnt realise that there was no restaurant at time of booking but The landlord recommened a lovely pub called the The Swan Inn and the food was excellent. Breakfast was really lovely and the landlord is a very nice man. I would stay again of I am in the area.

Very comfortable and relaxing stay.

Great nights sleep! Delicious breakfast and provided a lovely selection of vegan items for my daughter.

No evening restaurant but host provided local options and places to eat.

Steve the owner gave us clear easy to follow printed instructions to get to the three counties showground. He also cooked my wife another portion of mushrooms with no pepper. Always on hand if needed. Very well run.

nice shower room convenient location for Malvern and tasty breakfast

The room was lovely and breakfast was tasty and arrived quickly, easy to find and park and had a great big lovely shower that i enjoyed. we had a lovely little patio to sit at as well

the B&B is next to the main road and cars pass fairly constantly but rooms were well insulated

Really noisy room as it's by the main road. Bathroom, bedding and towels smelt a bit so not pleasant.

We would most certainly visit the Halfway House again in the future.

The Halfway House was a perfect place to stay. The breakfast was excellent and well presented. A good start to our day. A very relaxed atmosphere.
