Bell'appartamento praticamente in centro a Bayeux

La struttura è situata in centro città e conseguentemente tutti i servizi sono comodamente a disposizione. Nonostante ciò la casa è silenziosa e l'ambiente è tranquillo. Molto bello lo spazio esterno in comune e comoda la lavanderia a piano terra, con tanto di asciugatrice. Personalmente gradisco molto il self check-in, che la struttura offre. Comodissimo il parcheggio gratuito a due passi dalla struttura. Piacevole il cidro di benvenuto offerto dall'host

Appartamento ottimo per 2 persone, un po' tirato per 3, assolutamente inadatto per 4. In 4 non ci sono infatti gli spazi vitali minimi, mancano superfici di appoggio ed i mobili contenitori per sistemare i vestiti sono insufficienti. L'host ha girato la responsabilità direttamente sul sistema di proposta strutture di booking.com

Nice location in Bayeux.

The location of the apartment is great. Nice garden area with a small table on a terrace to sit and enjoy coffee or drinks. Although it was too chilly for us to enjoy that. Clean apartment. Parking is free within a three minute walk. Comfortable beds. The manager was helpful and the gifts of cider were a very nice touch.

When we arrived we found out that there is no oven in the apartment. This could have been my misunderstanding, but was a little disappointing. Also during our stay the bathroom shower backed up and flooded the bathroom floor. Then the kitchen faucet leaked. The decor was a little bit old and could use some updating. Instruction on how to use the dishwasher would have been helpful. I contacted the manager about all of these things and she was very quick to respond and do what she could. Considering all of this I would still recommend this place. It just did not meet my expectations at first, but the positives out weigh the negatives.

Recommended apartment stay in Bayeaux

Great location in the city, while still being very quiet due its back yard location.

No oven (only kitchenette)

Great location to explore Bayeux and surrounding area.

Location excellent with shops and market on the doorstep. Ideal if cycling as you can leave your bicycle in the courtyard. Enjoyed having the shared garden area too.

Beautiful town with great history. The beach at Arramanch was very thought provoking.

Location great for exploring the town. Close to many restaurants. Right opposite the market & bus stops.

We were in an apartment on the 2nd floor and the staircase to the attic bedroom was quite dangerous. The bed was located under a low wooden beam which made access to it very tricky.

Unit was well located and comfortable.

Location was directly across from the farmer's market, making it easy to get suppplies for our picnic. This also placed us near the center of town.

The lock on the door was tricky to operate. Key and handle had to be in correct positions, and this was not obvious.

Somewhat Bizarre...

Our room was adequate.

The manager was overbearing, rude and pushy when she eventually turned up at 18.05hrs. We had numerous emails beforehand to arrive between 16.00 & 1800hrs to meet the manager. We arrived at 16.15 but could not access the outside gates. There was no manager present. Another resident let us in through the gates & showed us the gate code. We entered the only apartment with a key in the door. It turned out to be the wrong apartment. We received an email at 18.15 with the gate key code enclosed, somewhat late for us. Our apartment was at the back of the building up a metal outside stairs to the upper floor where there were 3 apartments. It was difficult to carry our cases up the outside stairs. Also we were told to be out by 10am sharp on our departure date. Management asked us for extra money for a daily tourist tax (per person), asked us to clean all our rubbish to an outside bin, asked us to put all towels, bed sheets/pillows into an outside laundry bag. We didn't comply with their requests. The management took payment from our bank account 2 weeks before our stay. All this behaviour by the management of this venue was most unusual. A bit like a hostel stay rather than an expensive apartment rental. Would we recommend this establishment? NO, there's much better places to stay in Bayeux for the same money.

Superb

Great location - walking distance to all the Bayeux sites and restaurants, and an easy drive to WWII sites on the coast. Very spacious and well-equipped apartment and great enclosed courtyard and garden space for our toddler to safely run around. Also, very convenient laundry facilities and free parking nearby.

Excellent value and highly recommended.

The arrangements for getting access etc were excellent so getting into the property on arrival was straightforward. Being welcomed by a bottle of cider and apple juice was most welcome and a super surprise. The apartment was clean with good facilities and meant I had a very comfortable stay. The location was ideal for parking and also close to shops and not a long walk into the centre of the Bayeux. Altogether excellent accommodation, very good value and highly recommended.

stayed in gite Deauville, the bedroom is in the attic space so very small, very low ceilings and the toliet is downstairs, which are very steep would stay again but pick a bigger gite

Nice apartment

Lovely large apartment, great location. Easy communication with Karine re:code/keys. Towels provided. Complimentary btl of Cider & apple juice.

Sofa bed needs replacing, not sturdy. Floor upstairs v creaky, needs more support with battons on joists. Horrible smell from fridge, not cleaned properly. Kitchen area needs to be bigger, no draining board for dishes or cupboard for food. Existing cupboards far too high. TV extremely slow to change channels.

Really great location right in Bayeux, easy walking to everything. Great little apartment at a great price.

Apartment style, not a hotel. I liked it, but you should be aware that you have the run of the apartment for the duration. Food, coffee, etc. is all on your own.

Loved Bayeaux and surrounding area.

10 minutes walk from Tourism office, petit train to be shown around town. market day is Saturday on Place de Patrice just across the road from apartment. We stayed in the Colonial apartment which was ideal as it was on ground floor with wet room shower. Ideal as I was walking with the aid of a walking stick. Lovely apartment perfect location.

Perfect spot in Bayeux

Self contained property. Centre of town with courtyard communal garden all behind locked gates. If you are travelling by motorcycle you are allowed park in the internal courtyard which is a fantastic bonus.
