Soggiorno da dimenticare

Solo la vicinanza alla stazione, ma molto rumorosa per via del traffico continuo.

Spalliera letto sudicia, nessuna tenda a coprire la porta che si affaccia all'esterno, alcune prese nn funzionano, il piatto doccia liscio, sicuramente aggiunto sull'originale molto scivoloso, porte sporche..poltrona sudicia, il Suo valore massimo 20 euro a fronte degli 81 pagati 🤷

Definately a bad experience and I do not rcommend this property to anyone!

The only good thing about this hotel is the central location.

Please beware of this place! It looks nothing like the pictures and definitely do not recommend! When we arrived we found the property under construction, entrance full of garbage and foul smell. We were given no warning about the construction works and while the rooms were still in use, no compensation was offered regarding the city view (which was obstructed by scaffolding) and balcony which could not be used (two amenities which we paid for!). Instead we were greeted by a very rude lady who scolded us for not seeing a message she sent through the booking.com app (a mistake from my end which I apologized for on the spot but she remained with a frustrated tone towards us and even claimed that if there weren’t renovations going on we wouldn’t have found her there and would have slept in the street! No way to speak to a paying customer!!). Construction works often woke us up early in the morning and we had to keep the window shutters closed as construction workers could see through the window. The shower and AC were both leaking which often left us with puddles of water in our room. The rubbish bin pedal was broken, towels and bed cover had yellow stains, the headboard was also worn out and filthy!

Fantastic location, but problems in almost everything else

The location couldn’t be more convenient! That is the reason why even though I had problems I would probably give this place another try.

In the bathroom, both shower and sink were leaking. In the case of the shower, the water goes towards the bedroom, something that is obviously inconvenient. The internet didn’t work for a single second, and other guests confirmed to me that they couldn’t access any of the two networks either. Also, for some bizarre, incomprehensible reason the elevator of the building is turned off during the night. As I had a flight at 6:45am, I ended up having to drag a heavy suitcase down the stairs at 4:30am. Not exactly pleasant! And last, although my messages about the internet problem were answered quickly, it was bad never seeing anyone around who we could talk to and and at least try to sort problems.

Great for short stay (before or after flight) but not for much longer

Decent place to stay before the flight. Location is superb, just next to the train station as well as the old town. Everything was clean, bed comfy

It’s not very cozy and little too dark for longer staying. Soundproofing very poor and noisy street if you keep the window open.

for 1 night only

this is a good place for a over night stay ONLY - it is right in front of the main train station so you can be at the airport in 10 mins. It is a self check in process which was easy to use. The room and bathroom were very spacious. there is a small fridge but it is very weak.

The building is very old. the lift did not work when I stayed here. The floor needed to be vacuumed - it was full of dust and sand. The AC was not very strong but good enough to be able to sleep. Wi-Fi was weak too.

Pleasant

The room was simple but nice. I was close to the train station with a locker home close by. The room was big and sunny.

The cleaning of the room was not ready on time . I had to wait till 5 pm to get a room cleaned because that day they only had 1 cleaning lady for all the building. In the end I helped her finish. She was very nice, but very tired, poor girl! The day after they were 4 girls... much better.

Great location. Close to downtown and train station.

A little sketchy: very small sign, beside entrance requiring a long walk through dark entry alley. It’s not staffed, so can’t get in unless you make electronic contact with proprietor.

Total disappointment. Uncomfortable stay.

The heating system wasn't working in the first room. I was moved to as second room, where the heating system wasn't working and the shower was broken.

It was ok

Location is great, 1 min walk from the train station and very central. Unfortunately the room is very noisy as the Main Street is very busy with 24h busses. It was very clean.

As I’ve been a guest in December and even if Cagliari is always very warm, there was not heating and the room was a bit too cold.

Nice basic room for two nights.

Very central location. The room had everything I needed for a two night stay. Air conditioning helped keep it cool. The large and powerful shower was a pleasant surprise.

The floor needed a good brush or hoover. Lots of dust and hairs.

Excellent location, but extremely noisy (no sleep possible)

It is just in front of the train station which suited us as we were leaving very early in the morning. Big room, good bed, elevator, towels. Very easy to walk around the town. Check in experience short and sweet.

Our room was at the second floor, overlooking an extremely busy and noisy street, especially at night. As the building is old and there is no sound insulation, we would have expected at least to be advised to wear earplugs (it was literally impossible to sleep) or maybe as a suggestion for the manager: earplugs could be provided as a courtesy, which would be really appreciated by guests unaware of the situation. Also the shower handle controlling the flow of water functioned quite poorly. No paper could be flushed in the toilet (it is fine but it would be better that guest knew that prior to booking)

Just one night before flying back home

The location is perfect to reach all important monuments in the city centre on foot. The parking place adjacent to the train station is very close and comfortable. The staff is kind.

I thought it was better, according to the comments on Booking and its mark. It is a very small hotel (?) in a very old building, it is all very romantic and has still a certain reminiscence of the past beauty, but if you are used to modern and more elegant hotels this is not the right place to stay.

I don’t recommend

The staff that was working in the morning shift was very nice and helpful.

I arrived at night and it was really hard to find this place. It seemed like an empty building from the outside. The elevator wasn’t working, so they put me in the 1st floor. The room which I stayed in didnt look Iike the picture at all. I found hair in the shower and bed. The air conditioning didnt work and I had to open the window, which would be fine if there wasn’t so much noise coming from the street. Overall, terrible experience.

Good location

The host was very rude when I asked if I could leave my bag until check in time. She could have just said sorry but no and instead tried to give me a lesson about check in times. The building is quite old and at the beginning you may think why I decide to book here. Not staying there again.
