Niet nog een keer

Vriendelijke gastheer

Kamers waren gedateerd en erg gehorig, losse stopcontacten uit de muur en niet werkende verlichting. Prijs- kwaliteit was niet in verhouding. Voor 1 of 2 nachten ok om te verblijven niet langer.

Mooie locatie en daar betaal je dan voor.

Fijne tuin met uitzicht op Lago Maggiore. Parkeergarage voor de auto. Host was, indien aanwezig, wel aardig.

Ontbijt was matig. Wel elke dag verse broodjes en croissants. Op aanvraag kaas en 1 van de 3 dagen een gebakken ei. Yoghurt en sap uit een pak. Geen zorg voor kamer en hygiëne gedurende verblijf.

A touch of Paradise in the middle of Italy.

The breakfast was fantastic and well-prepared. Filippo is an extremely charismatic, very organised, efficient host. The location is beautiful, almost like a touch of Paradise: very peaceful and relaxing.

I have problems with my ankles so I didn't like climbing the steps to get to the B & B. That, however, is my personal problem and is not a negative comment about the place

Beautiful view (even in bad weather)

Filippo was adorable and very service minded. He picked us up at the ferry boat station at Pallanza and drove us back (as we didn't come with a car). That was very sweet. View incredible. The pool and outdoor area is amazing. We unfortunately could not enjoy it that much due to weather but was very nice. Bed & Pillow very comfortable. Great shower! And big bathroom. Great hikes around as you are close to the mountains. Approx 10 min walk to nearest restaurants and 30 min to the nearest ferry boat station. Breakfast was good (Italian + eggs) and fresh pastries. Nice coffee and delicious orange juice. There are only 2 rooms in the B&B so also quite private.

-Everyone has different taste but we definitely think the rooms could use an upgrade in terms of wall paint color and the bed frame being not ideal. -Room (with blue walls) was a bit small (looks bigger on the pictures) but otherwise comfortable. - could be great with an additional chair outside room so both people can sit outside :)

Verbania

The view. Parking. Pool. Filippo very friendly & helpful (apart from breakfast arrangements).

Room smaller than expected (photos deceiving). No easy ventilation. Rough towels. Breakfast too late (9.00am, asked for earlier so offered 8.30am first day then it reverted to 9.00am) and limited, no fruit or yogurt. Minor things need fixing or replacing. Wifi was only available outside the room & was very weak.

A host who genuinly cares for his guests und an outstanding view over the lake - MERAVIGLIOSA !

Filippo was a wonderful host who cares for his guest. The view from the garden over the lake is outstanding - one of our 2020 travelling highlights ! Centrally located for excursions around the lake and the surrounding mountains. Garden and pool have sun all day long.
