A wonderful splurge.
Superb location, beautifully renovated building, stunning views, incredibly helpful and accommodating staff, delicious breakfast.
Pricey, and they don't accept credit cards which presents a significant hardship for international travelers. It was a bit noisy, with foot traffic overhead and an open-air restaurant immediately adjacent.

Probably one of the best Palafitos in Castro/Chiloe!
Really amazing view (sea and palafitos), nice pallet heater/chimney. Kitchen for small preparations of food. The pans only allow small portions, but it works for Spaghetti or Omelette for two. The breakfast changes from day to day. It is basic, but good. We had avocado and croissant one day, the other day we had donuts. Always there were toast, cereals, jam and eggs for own preparation. Hair dryer, refrigerator, toaster,microwave, water cooker, … it is all there. There is even a small balcony. The staff even cleaned the used dishes and the heater/chimney during our stay. Everything was clean and the water in the shower was hot. Water pressure 7/10, but good enough.
Payment only possible with bank transfer or cash. I would prefer to pay with credit card.

Exceptional
Gorgeous palafito very close to town. Beautiful view over the water and so comfortable. The wonderful Camila was so incredibly helpful with restaurant choices and itinerary suggestions, a really fabulous 2 night stay.
