Nice location, food was great, the rooms and communal areas were really clean and tidy.

The bed wasn’t really comfortable and in the middle of the night had to wake up as it was too hot and there weren’t enough air ventilation. Something needs to be done for this. Being sleep deprived, was tired for the next day planned. Other than the sleep, would say ‘ok’

Great experience

Place absolutely amazing in a great location so close to the beautiful Lake District. Food was delicious and worth every penny with great staff around. Definitely go back

A good country sude property, beautifully converted to a hotel/inn. Well maintained and much better rooms than mainstream four star properties.

The poperty is probably next to farm so an overpowering smell in the environment was too much to bear. The breakfast spread was okayish. However, since we are vegans, we may not be the right people to comment on food served by the inn.

All round a good place to stay

The room was Quiet, clean and spacious. Dinner was abundant and very good, Breakfast was exceptional in its choice and execution - the morning staff were cheerful and attentive.

We wanted to dine earlier than the time we had booked but it was not possible to change the time.

The rooms were across from the pub making it slightly quieter, the breakfast was made to order.

The beds were wobbly, the door handles were all falling off.

Great place to stay after a long days work. Great place to chill.

The rooms are great breakfast is cooked fresh and is excellent the meals are worth every penny and more.

This was the umpteenth visit for my friends and me, and everything was up to our high expectations.

Accommodation was very comfortable and conveniently situated, there was almost unlimited parking space available (including storage for bicycles), the bar and dining facilities were excellent with great atmospheres (including a musical group), and the staff members were truly friendly and obliging. The hotel's location and the views from it are magnificent!

Realistically, there's nothing to dislike.

Fantastic family hotel

Modern, clean, comfortable decor. Great to have the ability for family of 5 to stay together in one room. Spacious room. Lovely, welcoming staff. Delicious breakfast with lots of choice.

Wish we could have turned the heating down.

The staff were very friendly and helpful,the location is very good for getting to other areas of the lakes we found it very comfortable and peaceful for a good night's reat.

Decent location and restaurant on site

Extremely noisy in the early mornings as all doors on springs that slam shut from 6am. Lack of staff in Restaurant and bar.

Clean, comfy and friendly. There were one or two niggles but nothing to stop us from returning.

Breakfast took 40 mins to arrive. On the whole we enjoyed our stay
