Great hotel would go again

Food was amazing. Room big and spacious. Clean and welcoming. Staff were friendly and helpful

Bit noisy from fan outside room 11. Other than that nothing else!

A great place to stay.

This was a lovely hotel and we enjoyed our stay. Food was excellent.

The breakfast Comfortable bed Lots of tea and coffee in the room The toiletries

The decor was dated. The grout in the shower needed a good scrub which bleach.

Good location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast and value for money.

Location very good. Breakfast excellent.

Shower needed to be improved and thoroughly cleaned. Sadly, there were no chefs on duty which meant no food available on the evening we arrived and nowhere locally to visit for a meal.

Comfortable and stylish hotel in beautiful surroundings with brilliant staff.

Beautiful Georgian property retaining so many original features yet tastefully combining these with modern comforts. Restaurant serves fantastic food & is phenomenally good value for money. Some of the friendliest & competent staff I have ever met whilst staying in an hotel.

Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Great parking. Good breakfast. Comfy bed. Great location.

No dining facilities in the evening. Room rather tired. Hot water flow indifferent. Could hear man in next room coughing so he would be able to hear me too.

Original period features and charm. Greeted by the resident cat. Friendly but not overbearing atmosphere. Lovely garden.

Shower room needs a revamp. But it was fine to use.

Excellent Hotel that is great value for money.

The location is quiet and picturesque. The staff were very welcoming and tentative. The room was very clean , spacious and comfortable. The quality breakfast included in the price was delicious and great value. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Brilliant as always

I stay at this hotel every time I am working in that area, it’s very comfortable, the staff are great and food is very good.

Dinner service starting at 6 is a bit late for me but other than that I have no other issues

Superb

The Greenhill Hotel is situated in an easy to find location, with some lovely features and decor inside. There are a good selection of gins and wines at the bar and the restaurant had a very good selection of dishes to choose from. The all important breakfast was excellent! On top of this was a team of welcoming and helpful staff, making our stays very enjoyable on our road trip up to the Scottish Highlands and on the return journey.

Gem on edge of Lake District

Location, food, Staff were friendly and efficient. They loved our dog made her feel very welcome,

Slightly dated rooms, could do with a refresh. Reported a tap not working in our bathroom. Reception said it's great to have people like you otherwise we don't know.

Lovely location in the countryside.

Lovely location in the countryside with plenty of parking. Very comfortable bed in a large room. I can't comment on the food as I didn't eat any when I was there.

Very enjoyable short stay at Greenhill Hotel.

Excellent location for the Northern Lakes. Plenty of parking at the hotel. Very clean and comfortable room. Breakfast and dinner very good. Friendly and efficient service.

Bathroom could have been a bit more spacious with more shelves and hooks.

All of the staff went above & beyond - the hotel was fab

The room was very warm and we couldn't shut the window due to the ivy - the restaurant and menu was lovely, but the food was fairly simple
