It’s ok for the money you pay but could be better.

The position is very good because it’s close to the beach (8 min walking).

The bed but most of all the pillow. So small and uncomfortable! Also, from the toilet there was a weird smell coming out and we found very few ants walking by.

Beautiful location, lovely people and charming character!

Brilliant location for rocky coastline and a quieter version of an Algarve summer trip. Cool pool, nice balcony, helpful staff and local character. Big recommend and would come again! Affordable food and lots of interesting drinks to be mixed and enjoyed.

As other reviews mention, there is no air conditioning which was certainly challenging. The overhead fan in our room was broken so we had two small fans which did little to cool things down. Opted for the cold towel method! Also a bit of a whiff around the pool from poor drainage nearby.

Cheap and cheerful, ideal relaxing location

Great location, only 30/40 mins from Faro airport. It’s very quiet town which has a handful of lovely restaurants/bars, Torre Velha itself has great food and at a very reasonable price from €3. An Uber to old/new town is about €7 so great if you want a lively night out like we did or a day trip. Just all round cheap and cheerful ideal for couples. Hotel itself is basic, rustic in places but it’s clean and the staff are friendly. Perfect for a chilled week away

I think the hotel is missing a trick by not serving food until 12, they should serve a small breakfast menu, would be perfect then!

Exceptional value for money.

Everything..the staff were very nice especially Marilyn and Bruno..pool was exceptionally clean and restaurant was very well priced..a very quiet location..we loved it.

Overall a great place to stay !

Nice location, friendly staff, great facilities, outdoor pool, restaurant, drinks and snacks bar, overall good value for money hotel.

The South were lovely.

I found the apartments to be very grubby. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned in God knows how long .The balcony was dirty full of cigarette butt's and bird droppings that had never been cleaned. They need to update their photographs that they have on the website. There is no breakfast facilities in the apartment also.

Perfect beach vacation place.

Just 10 min walk from the most spectacular beaches on the coast. Nice homey atmosphere. Family run hotel and restaurant, with old regulars who had been coming there for many years.

If you like straight out of the 70's vibe, then this place is for you. No air con. Normally not an issue, but during heatwaves it can be a nice bonus.

Nice stay in a comfortable large room with private balcony. I enjoyed.

Nice spacious room facing the back so very quiet. The staff was friendly and kind. The facilities were good, and the pool is nice to have a swim. It was a relaxing stay..

I wish they served breakfast. The restaurant opens kind of late in the morning. Apart from that all was good.

There was nothing i could identify as good.

We start to have problems as soon as we arrive since they were not able to identify our reservation. We had to wait so a room could be cleaned. The room was poorly clean: the bathroom was disgusting and there were water leaks. The room above ours were making a lot of noise during the night and the reception was closed, therefore we didnt have anyone to help us. We truely feared for our lives since we nicely asked the guys to make less noise and they wouldnt stop. We need to live earlier doe to this situation. This place is very very expensive for the quality they offer. I dont recommend.

Good option

Location is perfect. Very close to the awesome beach. It is about 3 min to the minimarket and 15-20 minutes to the supermarket. Personal is friendly and helpful. Daily room cleaning.

There are no glasses , any dishes and clothes dryer. Furniture is old
