Leuk hotel in oud pand

Centrale ligging en prima kamer. Schoon en fris

Iets geluid van de straat, maar dat is bijna te verwachten zo centrum stad Alleen douche in het bad, zonder scherm

City vibes in Lille

Nettes kleines Hotel in der Innenstadt. Gut zu erreichen mit Bahn und Auto (Parken öffentliche Garage 19 € 200 m entfernt.) Toller Blick auf die Kirche, die zum Glück nicht läutet. Freundliches Personal. Der Aufzug ist romantisch.

Wurden um 9 Uhr vom Reinigungspersonal geweckt, dass versuchte ins Zimmer zu gelangen. Checkout bis 11 Uhr, Schlüssel war noch nicht zurückgegeben. Da kann man ruhig bis zum checkout warten und das kommunizieren. Zimmer sehr klein und warm im Sommer. Keine funktionierende Lüftung im Bad. Die Mücken haben uns gekillt, mussten das Fenster offen lassen.

Not enjoyable - dirty and old.

The location was good

It was not clean. The room was shabby and needed total redecoration. The photos on booking.com did not represent the hotel. We travelled France for 2 weeks. This was to most expensive hotel but the worst of our stay. Very disappointed.

Séjour découverte de Lille et Roubaix

Hôtel très bien placé, à proximité des grandes places et des restaurants. Personnel très sympathique et serviable. Petit déjeuner avec de bons produits.

La baignoire mériterait d'être remplacée par une douche car trop petite pour prendre un bain et trop haute pour certaines personnes. Les moustiques, quelle galère !!! Il faudrait prévenir la clientèle de ne pas ouvrir les fenêtres à certains moments.

La décoration de l’entrée avec son charme ancien mais aussi la blancheur immaculée de la chambre avec sa salle de bains confortable. Pour notre chambre la vue sur l’église

Situation géographique idéale, personnel très sympathique, vue exceptionnelle sur la cathédrale.

Salle de petit-déjeuner trop petite, manque un porte savon dans la salle de bain, chambre très petite.

Good location, good price IF they sort out the mosquito problem.

Excellent location, friendly staff, clean.

It has a bad mosquito infestation. They are everywhere. We were badly bitten and were kept awake by the buzzing. Our room was really very small for two people.

nice comfortable hotel with character, provides a great continental breakfast

Receptionist - super helpful and knowledgeable. Check in process very easy, traditional room keys (a key to the old school approach within the hotel)

Car parking was provided in the local multi storey car park only 200 m away. Unfortunately the entrance to the car park was closed along with a number of streets . This meant that car parking turned out to be more complicated / stressful than necessary. If you need car parking - well worth asking in advance which entrance to use and are the roads closed

Location is excellent. Hotel is very nice decorated. Really nice. My aunt had a very good bed in her room, my bed in my room was not that good; a little bit to tough. The rooms are small, but that’s what you can expect in a city-hotel. And everything was in the room, the sink, the douche, the toilet, so what else do you need. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was also very nice.

There was no facility to make tea or coffee in the rooms.

Loud construction going on (January 2023)

Good central location close to pedestrian shopping area and a covered parking (a bit grubby). Small room with basic furniture. If’s a cute classical hotel with a lovely cage elevator, but a number of things need to be better if I’d stay again.

Construction works started at 8 am, too loud to sleep through. Hotel totally scaffolded in January 2023, so workers outside your window at crack of morning. Couldn’t get the internet TV to work, nor the phone in the room. You need to re-enter a code and email every time you reconnect to internet (also not very fast). Night receptionist couldn’t get us an extra duvet. Found short hairs on the duvet, which is never reassuring. Very thin curtains so bring an eye mask if you’re light sensitive. Rooms not sound proofed. Water takes a while to get warm. We had a room with bath, so you had to sit to shower or hold the shower yourself.

The city trip hosted by Brueghel will be recommended by us

Comfortable hotel in the very centre of a lively Flemish city. Lille was a positive surprise as a French city with so many Flemish characteristics. All shopping possibilities and monuments nearby.

The breakfast room was a bit narrow, but the staff managed amazingly well guests into positive experiences. So ultimately a positive score

A few lovely getaway days in Lille in a very nice hotel with very friendly and amenable staff. cannot fault our time in

very central but extremely quiet location next to the church and shopping streets. This is potentially the best location available.

The only drawback in our room with a double bed was the access to the shower is sideways and the shower is dark and could do with a solid glass screen. However this is not a dealbreaker but it would be a big problem with very big people.

Charming Hotel

Wonderful hotel with typically charming French feel, run with care and attention by staff who were interested in providing a good experience. Breakfast was wonderful. Also liked the bed linen which was clean and soft cotton without smelling of any fabric conditioner. Beds comfortable. Very well situated within walking distance of both main railway stations, with heavy suitcases. Generally a quiet ambience at night. ( helps when you want a good nights sleep ! ) .

Unfortunately one our two rooms ( overlooking the rear of the hotel ) did attract some mosquitos in the night with the window open. At reception mosquito traps were avilable if you asked but we failed to ask and it was a one night stay.
