Hot 🥵 without airco in the villa

I paid a lot of money for one week and there was no airconditioning. It was very hot so we hardly slept. Airconditiong should be obliged to people who rent out houses. When you book at capistrano make sure it is written that there is airco.

Buen precio pero normalito

La tranquilidad, el entorno, la zona de la piscina, el apartamento tiene de todo, aunque algo antiguo.

La cama y la almohada, que al ser un dúplex que han dividido, hay unas escaleras que bajan a la planta de abajo y se comunica con el otro apartamento, que aunque no se puede llegar a acceder, se escucha todo.

Pleasant environment

Friendly and helpful

Add on charges for WiFi in the room (advertised as free on booking.com). A/c also, additional daily charge. No hairdryer in room, these are held at reception. Did not know this till last day. Receptionist should have advised/ asked us when we arrived.

Love the property, had everything you needed while being away. Nice and updated kitchen and bathroom. Balcony was lovely with sea views and getting the sun on it. Bed was really comfy as well, had extra pillows and blankets if you needed them. I kind of wish I stayed longer to appreciate it!

La piscina estaba siempre limpia y abierta muchas horas. El bar estaba en obras. El apartamento estaba espectacular, espacioso y con una terraza que tenía unas vistas preciosas al mar

Había un pitido (como una alarma) que sobana cada 3-4 minutos. No nos molestó para dormir, pero sí era inquietante.

The view from the large patio was stunning , right over the town and out to sea with mountains to the sides , truly beautiful

Ok, trouble wit booking Capistrano is that the properties are all individually owned and , as such , vary greatly in their quality. You don’t know which property you are booking until you get there . The decor and furnishings in our villa were straight out of the early 80’s, they’re were a few electrical wires sticking out of walls and the place just needs modernising, there is a beautiful patio but no sun loungers The pool nearest us was shut and has been for months , this was not mentioned, the other pool Is 20minute walk down a very steep hill

Beautiful complex, well maintained pool area and gardens.Receptionist very helpful and informative. 20 mins walk to Centre. 2 large supermarkets close by .

We stayed in a 4 bedroom Villa. It was well equipped but the only downside was the outside furniture really needs to be updated and there was no sun loungers available in the Villa to enjoy the garden. The sun loungers at the pool cost €3.50 each per day.

Old furniture and uncomfortable bed. False advertisement regarding the pool

You have access to a pool

They are showing pictures with the pool for each apartment, and you think that you have one in your garden. There is a pool for an entire village and you have to pay for the sun beds. Our apartment had very old furniture and the mattress was very soft. We couldn’t rest in that bed.

The peace and view

The map was most unsatisfactory and the information provided in the welcome pack obviously written by someone with a knowledge of the area and place. I have never been here before and I struggled big time. On departure morning I was asked to hand in the keys between 10 and 11am but when I got there the office was closed and the agent only arrived at 10:50am. Thankfully I did not have to catch a flight in a hurry......,what if I did?

lovely complex , dated villa

the property was old and dated and no effort had been put into making it look nice or homely. that said the 2 bed villa we had was spacious and had a nice little garden. the blind were tatty and the mosquito nets were torn . the complex itself is just lovely , beautiful gardens and nice pools. you can walk to the beach in 20 mins , it’s uphill on the way back. Nerja is a lovely area. there was. it much local availability when we booked and price was ok.

disappointed with villa especially after the cost & seeing better villas for rent cheaper on this complex

the villa we rented was very dated & dusty on arrival. we arrived at 22:00. for 5 adults 2 of the beds hadn’t been made up for guest so no bedding available till the next day. when we reported this at reception we got giving a bag of bedding to make beds up. not enough towels for the booking, cutlery all odd & seemed to be 2nd hand. no air con in main bedroom, states property got air & we message to ask this also. garden patio & sun solarium furniture old odd & damaged

see above just add magazine in villa for guest dated 2017, it felt like no one had been there since then. owners need to visit & spring clean the place. every light had lightbulbs out in the whole villa

the pool area is lovely very handy for the bus

it is very basic and dated. can’t really cook anything in the kitchen. The apartment didn’t have air con and the temps were at mid 30s - at night it was unbearable. we ended up having to stay elsewhere for a few nights as it was so uncomfortable - so was an expensive trip. i

Fabulous, spacious villa. Fully equipped with everything needed for our stay. Definitely recommend

The resort is perfect but unfortunately the hills outside were too much for my elderly mother. Not that it negatively impacted the trip as she was happy to stay within the resort. My husband and I enjoyed daily walks to and from the beach.

Pool area was kept exceptionally well and staff at the pool side were very nice also staff at the reception area were very helpful in anytime I had dealings with them

That the first night I arrived at the resort/ complex it was late around 12 midnight and there was no arrangement put in place even when I specified my arrival time i found it extremely hard to locate my apartment with two small kids
