Good place overall, the best part was the pool.

The pool and the bar by it was fantastic, the rooms very spacious. The double beds so comfortable. Staff were nice and breakfast was delicious although we waited an hour for it every day.

The single beds have a very thin mattress that was very uncomfortable if you wanted to side sleeping. The pillows were bad as well, and just a pitty that they only make the AC work during night time, forget taking a nap in the afternoon, it is boiling hot even with the fan swinging.

Disappointing

The swimming pool was amazing. Very friendly staff, we booked a room upstairs and they brought our luggage up there for us.

The island is having serious problems with the electricity and in Ohana there’s no generator. We received an email one hour after we made the non refundable booking saying that during a power outage it might be possible that we couldn’t get hot water for a shower. But the problem was that when the power outage came (as everyday in Siargao) there wasn’t any water at all. Not even for flushing the toilet. Not even for a cold shower. As we didn’t have any water, we’ve been offered buckets from the swimming pool (as ‘the cleanest water we could get’). To be honest, we felt very disappointed and sort of scammed because we haven’t been told the correct information. Definitely, we wouldn’t have booked at Ohana resort at this price without having access to water.

Staff were friendly, helpful and amazing

Bugs, frogs & mosquitoes but that could be anywhere in the island. Screen for windows in the bathroom could help

Overall it was good

Room is very spacious including the CR, the pool is big, quiet place, instagrammable property. The owner is very accommodating and responsive for the quiries. Since our original flight was cancelled we need to move the sched on the next day, and they adjusted the booking quickly. Thank you.

The road going inside (If you arrived on a rainy day, it was flooded / But if sunny it’s functional and okay) Electricity (I know it’s the main problem of the island, But the owner is nice to get a 1day refund since there’s always an outages in electricity) Thank you.

Peaceful. well designed, relaxing.

Loved the space the pool, the plants and shirley the dog. The owner was very friendly, accommodating and good to chatwith. It was a very relaxing stay, the space has been beautifully designed and centrally located.

The time it took for the staff to prepare a simple breakfast, I have lived in the Philippines for 22 years now and still can't fathom the reason why many staff work at such a painstakingly slow snails pace 😀

Eye opening

The owner, Dick is a great guy, he really tied the place together and made it feel a lot more like a home than a 'resort'. He's pour his heart and soul into this resort after the typhoon hit. Met some amazing people there and the cheap drinks on site and pool made it more worth it really!

I wish there was a clone of the owner, I need more of him

Very good

Breakfast was delicious. Staff was incredibly helpful, pointing me towards a place to rent a scooter, somewhere to eat, and the best local beach.

There was no soap or shampoos provided.

it’s too pricey for the quality of the place.

we can cook our own food.

No toiletries. the A/C automatically was turn off at 3am except on our last night. the water pressures was really slow. A lot of mosquitoes in the surrounding. we have to ask them to pick up the trash instead of initiating that they knew we’ve cooked they should have picked up the trashed not waited to be asked to throw it away.

Felt more like a room rental, not a resort. I regretted booking here.

Not much.

Mosquitoes everywhere, dirty pool with algae/fungus on side, open to outdoor kitchen seems fun but in reality does not work because of the frogs, bugs, dogs, cats, mosquitoes that joins you when you are there. 6 days of stay and we never had our room cleaned. I had to ask multiple times to even remove our garbage from the kitchen. Toilet paper or towels, blankets never changed. Super slow internet that our friend who needed wifi to work, had to leave and stay somewhere else. This was more like an airbnb , where you get nothing but room rental- not a resort. From what I heard they have new staff. While the people all seem nice, this place is sadly badly managed. The place has potential if only it’s managed better.

very clean and spacious room. the aircon was very quiet. the pool was very nice. The owner was super friendly and we felt very home

wifi was not working good but it is a problem on the whole island. the owner organized new wifi router so it was very helpful.

The owner and staff were all kind and hospitable. The interior was also good.

a lot of things!!! 1. They don't provide any shampoo, soap and dental kit. 2. They don't change your towel until 3 days after. 3. The light bulbs were covered with cobwebs. The headboard of the bed was filled with dust and lizard poop. There was so much dust under the bed. Even the bath soap stand had a consumed bath soap on it. 4. There were sooooo many mosquitoes inside the room and in the shower. When we woke up, we were filled with mosquito bites.

Comfy & Worth The Bucks

The staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities and amenities are good.

Love the dogs but for some reason, they should limit where the dogs can go. I’m a dog lover so I understand it but I’m just concerned with other non dog lover guests. Our friends and I got 2 Villas, one with a kitchen, one with a superior with pool view. One time, we arrived in our kitchen villa with a dog’s vomit in our couch. In our superior villa, 2 dogs were sleeping in the couch and floor in our veranda. haha. looks cute to us coz we’re a group of dog lovers and fur parent, but to some, it might be annoying.

Beautiful, friendly, and made me feel like home!

Amazing place! Spacious rooms and comfortable beds! Hot and cold showers and even hot water in the bathroom sink (not very common in the Philippines). Their pool is almost finished. The restobar is great with delicious food! super friendly staff! couldnt have booked a better place! Will definitely come back and stay here!
